Chapter 98: Jack's own company
He was opposed to the idea but many people are in favor to this idea. So he did not have the choice but to let it go. The major problem for the werewolf people is that they will be out of control once they see the full moon.
Accidents happen from time to time causing the deaths of the people. So even if oppose the idea about the law on werewolves, he could not stop them from happening. But the idea Jack gave is really great and very easy to handle the situation.
Dumbledore immediately became happy and said to Jack that he would support this idea. Immediately they both went to the ministry of magic to meet with minister fudge. But before that they would notarize the plan of Jack in the order of phoenix.
This way no one would use this plan and cause problems for Jack. Even Dumbledore do not trust the people in the wizarding world. It is especially so for minister fudge and the bunch of hypocrites.
It is also the reason why he did not reveal any of his plans to those people or even in the order of phoenix. The process was very smoothly and quickly done with the presence of Dumbledore.
When the process is done Jack and Dumbledore met with minister fudge to get the permission for the plan of Jack. Minister fudge is like a fan girl around Dumbledore. He directly approved the plan of Jack without even looking into the details.
He doesn't know that he would be crying without tears when e realized how much money Jack would make, because he approved this plan without getting a share of the money from it. Jack smiled as he got the magic seal of minister of magic. It is official.
The smiles on the faces of Dumbledore and Jack were so wide when they got the approval without any hindrance from the minister fudge that they looked like two old foxes that got a fat pig willing becoming their dinner.
Originally Dumbledore and Jack have prepared a small sum of money to convince minister fudge with it. After all there is no place in the world without corruption and that did not require money that should be given under the table.
It is like those great human activists would pursue the information of some women enjoying her life by having multiple men while leaving the big case of red light districts in every city and in every country.
They did not care about their children or family. They did not take care of their elderly or their life partner. They invest lot of effort into digging the gossip of some woman or man that is enjoying their life.
They actually call themselves as social protectors that protect people from bad social elements. Everyone knows that there are red light districts in their city. Everyone knows that those beggars are the main gangs in child kidnapping and human trafficking.
But they did not take care of these important things. If you consider these crimes as a form of business then you are the one that is growing them. Giving them money, donating the money would make them want to make more money.
They capture more people that would fall into this kind of works with no other choice. It is these people that support this kind of nonsense in the name of supporting greater good. Unfortunately one cannot eradicate them even with the military.
These are grey areas where the hands of many politicians, business men, social elites and many bastards stretch deep into them like roots. If they are disturbed the roots of a country can shook.
Coming back the topic, the money they prepared to bribe the minister of magic was not spent because of the face of Dumbledore. So things went well without the use of money they prepared for it.
Jack knows that after another year or two, minister fudge would lose the faith and dependence on Dumbledore completely. At that time nothing good would come out of minister fudge even if they wanted.
But the current situation is different. Minister fudge did not understand the matter and thought that he made Dumbledore happy with his quick work. Right now Dumbledore is still the most influential person.
So it is only natural that as a politician minister fudge would try to get the favor of Dumbledore to keep his position stable. He already got his position by chance because of Barty crouch senior withdrawing because of his son being the part of the death eaters.
Minister fudge also has some irresponsible descendents and relatives. If he is not careful in managing his relations he might get poked by them where it hurts very much. So he has to show his smiling face to all popular people trying his best to get their support.
After thanking minister fudge, Dumbledore and Jack went to Gringotts bank to meet manager Davis. With Dumbledore and Jack at the same time the treatment they receive is very good. When Jack explained the plan, the eyes of Davis were twinkling.
Jack then told Davis that he was specifically given 1 percent of the profits while the Gringotts as a partner would receive 9 percent of profits as a whole for managing. This 9 percent is from the profits other than wages that are already given for working separately.
Similarly that 1 percent is also like that for manager Davis. He would be given salary for working for Jack as a partner and he would also receive 1 percent profit share as extra benefit as a personal confident of Jack.
Getting the special treatment and the extra benefit specifically for him made Davis moved. He immediately accepted the offer of Jack. For the time being everything will be kept in secret. Davis wanted to ask about the approval of the ministry.
