Chapter 298 - Unnamed

Chapter 298: Lost and Gained, Healing Ability

"Finally, something even more serious." Dumbledore's eyes flashed with a hint of helplessness. "At the Ministry of Magic's request, Hogwarts will be guarded by Dementors from Azkaban until Sirius Black is captured.

The Dementors will be stationed at every entrance to the school. While I have been assured that their presence will not disrupt our daily studies, I remind you that Dementors are vicious creatures and do not distinguish between the person they are hunting and those who stand in their way.

Therefore, I must warn everyone present not to give them any reason to harm you.

Dementors are inherently incapable of forgiveness, but we can always find happiness, even in the darkest of times, if you only remember to turn on the light."

After finishing these announcements, Dumbledorearranged for the feast to begin.

The plates and goblets on the long tables were filled with various foods and drinks, and almost everyone began to feast heartily.

Aaron Gaius took a few pumpkin pasties and a portion of fries, eating them unhurriedly.

Abey, on the other hand, jumped onto the dining table, relying on his status as a pampered pet, eating the steak from the plate, eyeing the chicken legs on the table, and thinking about the leftover snacks that others wouldn't finish.

"I can't believe Dumbledore actually agreed to let Dementors into the school," Draco Malfoy said unhappily. "They are Azkaban's most vicious guards.

My father said that being targeted by them is worse than death."

"It's indeed quite depressing, but it's not that bad," Aaronsaid calmly. "Even if Dementors attack students, they will only attack those who lack happiness in their hearts."

"Like Harry Potter?" Pansy Parkinson, sitting opposite Draco, said playfully. "I heard he was attacked by a Dementor on the train and fainted."

"He didn't faint," Aaron said, but seeing the interested looks of those around him, he added, "I'm telling the truth."

"That's a real shame," Draco said with regret. "I thought I'd be able to properly mock Potter!"

"Draco," Aaron said, pressing a hand to his forehead, speechless. "How much do you dislike Harry Potter?"

"Don't worry, I know my limits.

For your sake, I'll at most just scare him a bit."

Aaron sighed slightly. For the past two years, Draco Malfoyand Harry Potter had been in a constant love-hate relationship, and he was always mediating in the middle or afterwards, but the effect was minimal!

After enjoying the delicious food, Dumbledore announced that it was time for bed, and everyone gradually returned to their common rooms.

"The password is 'Leader'," Prefect Neller said at the archway, looking at all the Slytherins, especially the first-years. "If it changes, I will inform everyone promptly."

Passing through the archway, Neller led the first-year students on a tour of the common room, telling them how great and proud Slytherin was. As for the older students, they returned to their own dormitories.

The first thing Aaron and Abey did upon arriving in their room was to check the clothes they had left there over a month ago. Abey looked at the pockets full of food and almost cried tears of joy.

Originally, there wouldn't have been so much left, but plans changed. Aaron had recalled his thought form when he traveled to another world, and the consumption of supplies was only a quarter of what was expected.

Aaron looked at Abey, who was proudly hugging his granary, and couldn't help but smile wryly.

"Happy, aren't you?"

Abey nodded like a pecking chick, immediately putting on the clothes that had been enchanted with an Undetectable Extension Charm.

"It's fine, just keep it for now. You can leave it behind when the holidays come this year."

Abey's fervent mood was instantly doused with cold water. A cloud of gloom seemed to hang over his head, and snowflakes continuously fell from it.

"Look on the bright side," Aaron comforted him. "You win some, you lose some!"

Abey looked up at Aaron with big, watery eyes. "Master is lying to the dragon. Gines taught me, this term is clearly called 'get and then lose'."

Aaron:... "At least the food you've saved up this school year can be kept!"

"But I won't be able to save that much anymore," Abey said, on the verge of tears. Aaron had sternly warned him at the end of last term not to eye the kitchen or accept food from other Wizards.

That meant he could now only hoard food from his three meals a day, and how slow would that be?

What a pity. He had just gotten his big granary back, but it probably wouldn't be his for long.

"There, there," Aaron picked him up. "Today, Master will teach you a great truth: as a dragon, you must learn to be content.

You are all mine, so naturally, the things you hoard are also mine."

Abey froze for a moment, then jumped out of Aaron's arms, buried his head under the covers, and let out muffled sobs, clearly conveying the message: Master bullies the dragon.

"I'm really scared of you. How about I exchange something with you?"

As soon as the words fell, Abey's crying immediately stopped.

He jumped back in front of Aaron, his resentful eyes replaced by surprise.

"I was only gone for half a month, and your face-changing skills have truly advanced by leaps and bounds!" Aaronexclaimed, speechless.

Abey proudly raised a paw. "Without some skill, how could I get a normal portion of rations from the housekeeper? But he still mercilessly stopped my late-night snacks."

"Heh heh!" Aaron's mouth twitched. He felt that Abeybasically met the conditions for free-range rearing; he could even do well if thrown into a wild dragon pack.

"System, open the attribute panel."

[Host: Aaron Gaius]

[magic Power: 9704 (High-level Magister, high-end combat power in the Magical World)]

[Talent: Once in a blue moon (magic Power increases by 4 points daily)]

[Items: moon drop (2/3 can remove any negative magic), Resurrection Potion (can revive any creature that died within one hour), magic carpet]

[magic Points: 2400]

"A full two thousand four hundred points?"

Aaron nodded slightly. This number wasn't too high, but it was definitely enough to let Abey evolve once more.

Having experienced a journey to another world, he clearly understood the potential of dragons.

When Abey evolved to the level of Smaug, a mobile natural disaster, he would be able to walk sideways in the Magical World. Even if Lord Voldemort recovered to his peak, he would still have to show him respect.

Thinking of this, Aaron looked at Abey with longing, then checked his attribute panel.

[Pet: Abey]

[Race: Dragon (Saint: Unawakened)]

[magic Power: 1438 (increases by one point daily, infinite potential, king among dragon whelps)]

[Talent Abilities: Flight, Dragon's Breath,???]

"Oh my goodness!

Why does this number carry such a strong sense of mockery?" Aaron clicked his tongue, speechless, then allocated a portion of his magic Points to Abey.

As his magic Power rapidly increased, breaking through the three-thousand bottleneck, a layer of white light also appeared on Abey's body, and the entire dragon excitedly circled on the ceiling.

After more than ten seconds, he excitedly flew down, stopping in front of Aaron with a playful grin.

Bang!

Aaron flicked him directly on the forehead. "Be serious."

Abey immediately restrained his smile and squatted in place.

"How big can you get now?"

"Ten meters." Abey puffed out his chest. It was just that this dormitory was a little small, and he didn't dare to transform, otherwise, he would definitely blind his Master.

Aaron raised an eyebrow, then checked Abey's attribute panel.

[Pet: Abey]

[Race: Dragon (Saint: Unawakened)]

[magic Power: 3000 (increases by one point daily, infinite potential, king among young dragons)]

[Talent Abilities: Flight, Dragon's Breath, Healing,???]

When he saw the third talent skill on the panel, Aaron's mouth was almost stretched to the back of his head.

He didn't know many healing spells right now, and if he got injured, he could only treat it through Muggle methods, but he hadn't expected Abey to be able to make up for this shortcoming.

After a moment of thought, Aaron took out his magic wand and made a cut on his hand, blood welling up from the red wound.

Seeing this, Abey immediately became anxious.

Without Aaron needing to remind him, a small white magiccircle appeared on Aaron's palm.

The wound on his hand healed rapidly within a few seconds, leaving no scar.

"This is amazing," Aaron said with a satisfied smile, having a simple assessment of Abey's healing ability in his heart. As long as it wasn't missing limbs or critically ill, he should be able to cure it.

Abey breathed a sigh of relief, then looked at Aaronsomewhat indignantly. "Master, please don't do such dangerous things in the future."

"Don't worry, I know my limits."

"Even with limits, it's not allowed. This time you cut your palm, and I can still heal it, but if you cut your neck, I can't."

"Your Master isn't that foolish," Aaron rolled his eyes. He hadn't lived enough yet and wouldn't end his life so carelessly in this way.

"That's good," Abey patted his little heart, as if he had just recovered from a fright.

Aaron's face darkened. He picked him up by his clothes and put him in the basket. "Go to sleep."

The next morning, the alarm clock rang promptly at six o'clock.

Aaron opened his eyes, and the first thing he did was complete today's sign-in.

Then he washed his face and mouth, changed into a clean Wizard's robe, and prepared his textbooks for Class.

He took off the magic-sealing ring on his right hand, carefully felt the full power of his magic, and then separated his thought form clone.

"The feeling of halved power is really not good," Aaron said with a light laugh, spreading his hands. "Now I can only be considered a High-level Magician; I don't feel very secure!"

"Same here," the thought form said indifferently, then picked up the timetable on the table. "How many elective courses should I take?"

"Decide based on the timetable! Whichever one I choose, you can choose another," Aaron said, adding, "Don't forget about the magic circles."

"I knew it," the thought form shrugged. "Leave it to me. This semester, I'll at least be able to instantly cast advanced magic circles, and I'll continue to practice ultimate magiccircles."

Aaron nodded, picked up Abey, and walked to the Great Hall.

The thought form's abilities were consistent with his, so there was no need to worry about anything.

Moreover, he had already used the thought form at school last semester and had some experience. As long as they didn't appear in the same place at the same time, the possibility of exposure was almost zero.
