I looked toward the source of the crash.
It was Sofia. She'd accidentally knocked over the glass of water I'd left on the table.
Is the glass of water… annoying you? I thought. I knew it.
I sighed and turned my attention back to her. "How are you feeling now?" I asked.
"You have Minho," Yuna said suddenly, jumping to her feet.
Okay… this is getting annoying.
"What if I do have Minho?" I shot back, glaring at both of them.
The three of us froze. We all stood there, staring at each other, caught in a standstill that was equal parts tense and ridiculous.
How did it even get this ridiculous?
"Stop it, please," Minho said, his voice calm but firm.
"Aren't you the one who caused it?!" I snapped back at him.
Yuna's eyes widened. "Don't talk to him like that!" she scolded.
"I can and I would," I said, pointing at Minho. "If he had hidden like I asked him to, none of this would have happened!"
Minho's eyes narrowed. "Where exactly did you want me to hide? In that tiny kitchen?" he asked, clearly annoyed.
"Oh, sorry," I said with a mock bow. "Next time, I'll get you a bigger kitchen, Your Highness."
He smirked, clearly amused despite himself.
For a moment, we were all quiet. Nobody said a word.
Then Minho finally broke the silence. "Where's your phone? Let's order takeout."
"It's on the couch," I muttered, pointing.
He picked it up, already scrolling through the contacts.
"Wait—don't call," I said quickly. "Just dial the number and hand it to me. I'll do the talking before I end up on the channel news myself."
He rolled his eyes, clearly unimpressed with my dramatics.
That's when Yuna and Sofia erupted into laughter, completely unable to contain themselves.
Perfect… I've officially become a walking comedy show.
He handed me the phone, and I quickly dialed the number, placed the order, and ended the call.
"Because you don't want to share the reward money, you didn't tell me you found Minho, Soheon? Are you that stingy?" Yuna asked, narrowing her eyes.
"And… where did you even find him?"
I shrugged. "He was God-sent."
"And I'm not stingy," I added quickly. "He's the one who said I shouldn't tell anyone. Supposedly, he'll pay me extra if I stay quiet."
Yuna's jaw dropped slightly.
Yep… things just got even more complicated.
"Soheon!" Yuna screamed. "I love you!"i said trying to ease her anger,
She just looked at me and sighed.
"You're not mad anymore, are you?" I asked carefully.
"Yes… I am mad—but Minho is here," who cares about you again she admitted,
"Ohhh… I get it," I said, nodding slowly minho is more important.
"So… how long have you had him?" she blurted.
"From the past three days," I replied.
Yuna's eyes widened. "That's exactly the day he went missing—and I called you!"
"Ohh… I forgot," I said quickly. "Don't get the wrong idea. I didn't kidnap him."
"Likely story," Yuna muttered.
"Don't you agree, Sofia?" she asked, looking at her friend.
"Yes," Sofia said calmly. "Her story sounds… far-fetched."
I opened my mouth to explain… but just then, Yuna's phone started ringing.
She picked it up. "Okay, I'm coming," she said, standing up quickly.
"You're leaving?" I asked, surprised.
"Yep. There's an emergency at the shop—I have to go. Mom's busy," Yuna explained.
I felt concern. "I hope it isn't serious."
"No, no. I just have to be there," she reassured me.
"What about the food we ordered?" I asked her,
"just Give my portion to Minho," she said without missing a beat.
"Sofia, let's go," she added, glancing at her friend.
"If I come back, you'll have to explain this whole situation to me yuna said"
"Sure, I will," I said with a small smile, before she hurried out with Sofia.
