Thirty minutes had passed and they were still roaming in the forest that night.
Sunnie had gotten a handful of good firewood. "This will burn well and for long," she nodded as she carried them.
Azure followed behind, watching as she meticulously selected firewood while making calculative and smart presumptions.
He was genuinely impressed at how smart and resourceful she sounded!
An hour had gone, and she had gotten the best amongst them all. "I think this will do for the night," she said as she kept the wood to the side. "We just need to get some rock to make some fire when needed..."
She looked, flashing the fire stick in search of good rock. She looked through the closest bushes that night, hoping to see some rocks.
But she didn't notice a huge snake crawling close to her feet!
"Careful!" Azure was alert. He had seen the snake immediately, pulled Sunnie by the hand and pulled her away.
Azure fell on his back and Sunnie fell above him, her hand over his chest. Shocked, she stared into his eyes. Their eyes locked and she was momentarily lost in those beautiful blue eyes.
The snake didn't stop. The huge snake had moved towards Sunnie but Azure pushed Sunnie aside to protect her.
And then he got up to his feet in attack. He had no weapons so he physically fought the snake. But it didn't end there.
He managed to scare the snake off with some leaves he picked up from the side. But the snake had bitten him hard on his legs!
As the snake disappeared into the bushes, Azure fell on his back with a sharp gasp. He panted heavily, struggling to breathe as he stared into the night sky. His vision was blurry.
The venom was affecting him fast!
"Azure! Azure!" Sunnie called as she fell down to her knees beside him. She tapped him on the cheeks. "Wake up.. hey!"
But he was already going unconscious. His breathing was unsteady and he had gotten pale.
"No.. I have to do something..." Sunnie knew to act immediately.
"System! Do you have anything in that store of yours to save him?? Speak now!" She said, panicking.

Before her, the system displayed various medical equipments that could be of help. Sunnie was surprised and happy to see some modern medicines she could use for him!

"You can't stay here. Let's get you back," Sunnie said.
Sunnie wasn't the strongest but she had enough willpower to carry Azure. She wrapped his arms around her while she pulled him along. Azure had soon grown free from the pain. He was now conscious so he also struggled to walk with a feet.
"What did you do to me...?" Azure asked. "What type of magical medicine is that...?" He was curious.
"Don't talk for now.. you're still not well. Talk when we get back or something," she insisted as they moved home.

They soon arrived at the cave. The other four were shocked when they saw Sunnie bringing Azure in in that condition.
"What happened to Azure?" Luka asked.
"What's that on his legs?" Eris asked.
But Sunnie ignored all their questions. She still wasn't done with the treatment, so she took him into one of the cave rooms and had him sit down on a rock while Sunnie knelt before him to continue treating his legs.
She removed the bandage and reapplied more medicine. She wanted to be thorough and effective.
The beast husbands stood by the door, staring intrigued and curiously.
"The female is also good at medicine? Since when?" Luka was shocked.
"Same question... Interesting," Eris said, running a hand through his jaw.
The sight of the beast husbands was distracting to her work, so Sunnie urged them to leave so she could work.
They were shocked by how authoritative she got when getting down to business.
They did as she said and left since she was saving Azure.
Sunnie continued her treatment as Azure sat there, staring at her. He simply kept getting impressed at how talented she was each moment. He couldn't help but stare.
Soon, Sunnie was done fastening up the final bandage. She sighed. "You should be better by tomorrow," she smiled at him.
Azure's eyes were glued to Sunnie. He found his heart fluttering at the smart gesture of this female whom he never noticed.
