Under the dim light from the window, he looked at Janice's sleeping face and sighed in resignation. Then he gradually closed his eyes.
The next morning, Janice got up as usual. When she went downstairs, she saw a lively Nino.
"Nino, are you all right?"
She picked up Nino and held her in her arms.
Nino wagged her tail happily at her.
Janice played with her for a while. Then she put her down.
When she walked into the kitchen, Christopher had already made two sandwiches, which looked very delicious.
Janice couldn't resist licking her lips.
"Honey, thanks for your hard work."
She picked up the two sandwiches and walked toward the dining room.
Christopher followed her with two glasses of milk.
They sat at the table and started eating breakfast.
Janice remembered something and asked, "Do you have time to take Nino to the examination later?"
Christopher glanced at the time and said, "I'm afraid not. I have a meeting in the morning."
