Just as Christopher was about to speak, his phone rang again.
He glanced at the screen, frowned, and hung up the phone again.
Janice confusedly asked, "Why don't you answer the phone?"
Christopher's eyes flickered. "Wrong number."
Janice didn't think much of it. "What did you just want to say?"
"I..." Just as Christopher was about to speak, his phone rang again.
He took out his phone irritably and looked at Janice who was confused, saying, "I'm going to take a call."
As soon as he finished speaking, he turned around and walked away.
Janice didn't think too much about it. She turned around and continued walking towards the study.
After a while, there was a knock on the door of the study, and Christopher came in.
"I'm going out for a while."
"Okay," Janice nodded.
Christopher asked, "What about your dinner?"
Janice replied, "Don't worry. I'll take care of the dinner myself."
