Chapter 411 - 411

"Alright, Jessica, you go with Lisa. Having a companion means you can look out for each other. I'll be there soon," Eddie said helplessly. Having too loyal bodyguards wasn't always a happy thing.

Jessica shook her head, "You jump, I jump."

This was the famous line from the heroine of Titanic. If you go, we go together; if you leave, we leave together. It could be understood as living and dying together.

If it were anyone else, Eddie wouldn't believe such a statement, but Jessica was genuine. She would do anything for him without reservation.

To object would be to send her away.

Except during her pregnancy, Jessica provided twenty-four-hour close protection, even following him to the restroom to prevent any safety threats.

"How helpless. Hilda, I'll have to trouble you," Eddie said, resigned, forced to seek help from his third bodyguard.

Hilda also shook her head, "No." Like Jessica, her loyalty was just as strong, though she had joined the team a little later.

Eddie was speechless. He picked up the phone and dialed. On the other end, there was a cacophony of heavy metal music, which disappeared once the call connected, clearly indicating the music had been turned off. "Baby, are you dancing?"

Stephanie, wearing light makeup, was dancing. Her mother was Svetlana, the former female leader of the Eastern Slav Republic. As Eddie's biological daughter, her life was carefree.

Her favorite thing was clubbing.'Starting a business only to club halfway through and run out of budget' described her perfectly.

Despite Stephanie's love for clubbing and smoky eye makeup, her admirers were as numerous as fish crossing a river.

Her standards were very high. The only man she truly respected was her father, Eddie. Other men? Sorry, what are they?

"What is it, Dad? Can you give me two hundred million? I've run out of money. Phew, Big Sis froze my allowance. Dad, you have to stand up for me! Otherwise, I'll tell Big Sis our secret and make her jealous!" Stephanie said, sitting on the sofa, smoking a cigarette, exuding the aura of a strong woman with every glance.

"Alright, I'll help you, but you need to help me first. Stop clubbing. Go to Baker Farm, find Zoe, ensure her safety, and don't worry about anything else," Eddie instructed.

A glimmer flashed in Stephanie's beautiful eyes. "Hehe, looking for an aunt for me? Alright, I'll go. I'll leave now. Finally, something to do."

Stephanie hung up the phone, slipped on her ten-centimeter fashionable strappy high heels, grabbed her weapon, and headed out.

"Baby, don't play too wildly." Svetlana sat in the living room, swinging her high heels and reading a newspaper, a cup of coffee beside her. Elegant and relaxed, the feeling of a homemaker wasn't bad!

"I know my limits," Stephanie waved her hand, walked to the teleportation island, and with a flash of electricity, she was in the Duerwei Area the next second.

Meanwhile, Eddie took Sherry to a hotel to rest for a few days. Saving people wasn't urgent; you needed to be well-fed and rested to have the strength to save them, right?

In a city on the East Coast, the Chaos Beast captured the dying Simmons and fused him into its head. It used an enhanced C-Virus to revive Simmons, achieving a resurrection effect.

The army was attacking in an orderly fashion, with even the fleet sailing into coastal waters. Battleships and aircraft carriers provided fire support to the ground forces attacking the city.

Armed Helicopters were unable to fly; large numbers of mutated bees appeared in the city, commanded by a queen bee that had hatched after C-Virus infection and cocooning.

Any flying vehicle would face pursuit by the bees; even suicidal attacks would bring down an aircraft.

In the lab, Wesker saw his bank account reach five billion and smiled slightly. "Your one billion has been given to you."

Jack, who had had his blood drawn, also received a text notification: a deposit alert from his neutral bank.

Mercenaries preferred to use neutral banks. These banks wouldn't provide any information to third parties, money could be transferred as long as it was available, and there was no need to worry about being traced.

Jack looked at the text message. "What are your plans next?"

"To completely destroy Umbrella and bid farewell to the past." Wesker looked at the TV on the wall, which was showing the human purgatory on the East Coast.

Jack was noncommittal; he felt no excitement regarding Wesker. "I don't want to retire. Being a mercenary is exciting. Perhaps I can learn from Chris."

Chapter 641: Sheva, the Experienced One

"That works too. Marry early. A man can go out and explore, as long as he leaves behind offspring, nothing else matters." Wesker nodded in agreement.

"Is that why you don't care about being cuckolded? You're just open-minded?" Jack asked, somewhat confused, as if he was bringing up a sore subject.

"If you weren't my son, I'd punch you to death right now! Don't talk about this topic again. Eddie is strong, I admit, and I respect your mother's choice. That's it." Wesker's expression was displeased. He deliberately tried not to think about such things, but being reminded of it made him very annoyed.

What man would wear a cuckold's hat and still feel good about himself? Ah, except for Minotaurs, sorry, Minotaurs are people too, and they deserve some respect.

"Alright, I don't care. I'm leaving. Are you coming?" Jack walked out.

Wesker nodded. "I'll go to the East Coast with you to tell Chris something."

The lab guards didn't stop the two; there was no need. They couldn't escape anyway.

Playing the 'kill the cunning rabbit, cook the running dog' trick was no longer suitable; it was best to obediently accept fate.

By nightfall, eight hours had passed.

Above the hotel, a beautiful, curvaceous black woman jumped from a plane, stepping out in silver-white high heels, showcasing her charm. A tactical knife and pistol were holstered on her combat leather pants.

Sheva, unseen for a long time, arrived at the hotel. She wasn't there for a live capture; she was just there to help her husband, Eddie.

After finally raising her child to an age where she could be independent, Sheva entrusted her daughter to the kind Manuela and Katherine, the mayor's daughter of Raccoon City, for care, and came to find her husband.

Sherry, still a bit sleepy-eyed, walked out of the room in high-heeled sandals. "Oh, Sheva, why are you here? Long time no see."

Sheva gave Sherry a hug. Their relationship was very good, almost like best friends. "I'm here to help Eddie and get some exercise. Taking care of the child is a bit unusual for me."

"Alright, have a seat." Sherry almost stumbled after taking a step, clearly not having fully recovered.

Sheva paused, then took out a pill. "This is a nutritional capsule. Don't you have any spares? It replenishes nutrients, and your body will quickly repair damage."

Sherry lowered her head, a blush on her pretty face, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I finished them."

"Alright, I have plenty here. You take it first. You'll get used to it." Sheva wasn't surprised; as someone who had been through it herself, she understood perfectly.

After taking the nutritional capsule, Sherry quickly recovered to her optimal state, and her walking was no longer wobbly. "Thank you."

Sheva shook her head. "We're like sisters, no need to be so polite. Where's Eddie?"

"He should be awake now." Sherry wasn't sure. Perhaps, should be, if?

Soon Eddie walked out, his expression calm. "Sheva's here. Let's go to the East Coast for some fun and see Simmons's demise."

"Okay, husband." Sheva smiled sweetly. As a black woman, she was one in a million, a chocolate beauty. She was very grateful to Eddie, the most important man in her life, who had given her a chance and a new life.

"Why so polite? You fly the plane, grab your sniper rifle, and let's go have some fun," Eddie said with a triumphant smile.

The group boarded the plane. During the flight, Sherry kept yawning, like a young delinquent girl who stayed up all night.

This made Sheva smile knowingly. She had been through the same thing before, so she knew why, but she just smiled and said nothing.

On the East Coast shoreline, a beast over fifty meters tall was howling. Each howl sent large numbers of monsters and zombies charging towards the army's front line.

"You are all ants! Tools, haha, so-called freedom is just being a tool! Die!" The giant beast roared in human language while directing the monster attack.

The Federation had already lost nearly sixty thousand soldiers, barely managing to maintain the defense line. If the situation became untenable and casualties rose again, they might have to use missiles for attack.
