Chapter 369 - 369

It seems Alex's position has been replaced. I wonder who became the island's abuser? The residents inside are probably all dead by now.

Two days later, in a hidden forest on the Iberian Peninsula.

Eddie was smoking a cigarette and embracing Jessica, seemingly waiting for someone.

Behind the two was Alex. She was looking down at her computer, paying little attention to her surroundings.

Before long, a man wearing sunglasses and a pitch-black trench coat appeared abruptly. The newcomer was none other than Albert Wesker!

Alex's surname was also Wesker. Both were members of the Wesker Project, the only two remaining.

"Long time no see, both of you," Wesker greeted, adjusting his glasses.

"Enough nonsense, let's go find Spencer." Alex closed her computer. Her pure white suit looked immaculate and highlighted her impressive figure. The seemingly ordinary suit was actually made of nano-molecules and never needed cleaning.

Wesker sought out Eddie this time because he wanted to go find Spencer together, demand an explanation, and figure out what he had been doing all these years, as well as whether Wesker's parents were still alive.

After traversing the forest, they emerged into a large clearing where a magnificent mansion stood, resembling a medieval castle. This was the kind of property only possessed by ancient nobles, and it was impossible to buy, unless you were extremely rich!

Looking at the ancient castle before him, which must be worth at least five billion, Eddie folded his arms. "Have you two been here before?"

"No. If I had, I wouldn't have needed to look for so long." Wesker's sunglasses suddenly turned slightly red, suggesting that emotional changes caused his eyes to shift.

Alex stood next to her husband in high heels. "This is Spencer's ancestral home. Many people thought he was British and had an old house in Britain. In fact, he has dual noble status; I only just realized this."

"Let's go. Let's see what Spencer thinks now that he's become younger." Eddie sneered and walked ahead.

In front of the gate, there was also a moat with a drawbridge tightly locked.

Two men dressed in Iberian Peninsula agent uniforms raised their guns and said, "Stop, this is private property."

Alex raised her pistol and immediately shot both agents dead.

The agents, whose heads had been blown off, dissolved into a pool of pus and dead leech corpses, rapidly melting away in the Daylight.

This type of leech infected with the T-Virus has a fatal flaw: it is afraid of ultraviolet light. The unique substances contained in Daylight are what the leeches fear most.

Wesker looked down. "Marcus is inside too. Looks like you're about to reunite with your uncle."

Eddie scoffed, "Marcus has been dead for ages. Even if he could be resurrected, it wouldn't be the real him. Reunite my ass."

Whoosh! Eddie pulled Alex and instantly jumped onto the six-meter-high wall, entering the castle directly. Jessica followed closely, staying right behind them.

Wesker's eyes flickered after watching. It was obvious that the other party's viral enhancement was stronger, allowing him to jump such a height without a running start.

After descending the wall, they found themselves in a garden where several corpses had been casually discarded.

When Wesker landed, these corpses revived and surrounded him like zombies.

Bang! The furious Wesker didn't hesitate, using his fists to smash the heads of all the zombies. Every punch connected, seemingly venting some kind of dissatisfaction.

These suddenly reanimated zombies were merely discarded waste products from experiments, casually tossed aside.

As they walked through the garden, zombies occasionally emerged to attack. These zombies looked increasingly hideous, seemingly having suffered some form of torture or abuse before death.

They arrived at the main gate, where a humanoid monster, draped in rags, its face unrecognizable, covered in pustules, and its upper body mutated, was waiting, holding a two-ton cross-shaped iron anchor.

It seemed specifically placed to guard the gate, and it did not fear the Daylight. However, they could smell a stench from far away

The odor of rotting corpses.

"That thing is your problem," Eddie said, waving his hand dismissively, immediately shirking responsibility.

"Why?" Wesker didn't want to take action; he preferred directing from behind the scenes.

Eddie stomped his foot, causing the ground to shake slightly. "Because I'm stronger than you."

Chapter 585: Jessica's Vengeful Strike

After a rapid charge, Wesker confronted the Anchor Man face-to-face, clearly seeing the Anchor Man's disgusting appearance.

The man and the monster began to wrestle. The Anchor Man's attacks were very stiff, more like a lunatic without any technique. His speed was slow, and only his strength was notable; if one of those anchors hit you, it would knock the crap out of you!

Eddie took out a cigarette, lit it, took a puff, and handed it to Alex. "Wife, do you think Spencer is inside?"

Alex took the cigarette, uncaring about hygiene. She had already borne his children; why worry about such details? "Probably, unless he stayed behind because he wanted to see Albert and me."

While the two were chatting about past anecdotes, Wesker had already found a solution: there was a huge eye on the Anchor Man's back. It had been covered by rags, but as the Anchor Man moved, the eye

its weakness

was exposed.

Wesker pulled out a famous handgun, the Albert Gun. The bullets were specially modified, giving this weapon extreme lethality against bio-weapons.

After firing a few shots at the eye, the Anchor Man immediately collapsed.

"Much slower than I expected." Eddie checked the time, then embraced Alex and walked forward.

The gate was bolted shut; they had to find a way to open it.

Wesker unleashed an enraged punch, punching straight through the thick wooden gate. With another palm strike, the gate was knocked flying.

The hall was exceptionally clean, spotless. However, the sky outside had mysteriously turned gloomy, as if preparing for rain.

The hall was still empty; not even a camera could be found.

Wesker looked around, leaped up to the three-meter-high second floor, and kicked open the iron door blocking the way. This led to the dining area.

They didn't encounter any other bio-weapons along the way, but the silent atmosphere was somewhat oppressive. It forced them to keep their nerves constantly taut, ensuring they wouldn't be startled if something suddenly jumped out.

Past the dining area was the main body of the castle, a corridor lined with many rooms. Some were guest rooms, some were storage rooms, and others had different purposes.

Without exception, the rooms here were empty.

After walking through the corridor and reaching the back half of the castle, they saw many corpses of white-clad researchers, and two Anchor Men squatting, gnawing on the bodies.

Upon seeing this, Wesker rushed forward without a word. He knew he was destined to be the hired help, so he might as well be proactive and save face.

Eddie, meanwhile, waved his hand, picking up a corpse to observe it.

Alex frowned. "This situation strongly resembles the symptoms of organ failure and death after failing to withstand the Progenitor Virus."

The original Progenitor Virus does not turn people into zombies; once they die, they simply die.

The Anchor Man consuming the corpses is merely consuming its own kind, a way to maintain the vitality of the Progenitor Virus. It is the virus driving the body's reaction; as for the brain cells, they were destroyed long ago.

After dealing with the Anchor Men, Wesker pushed open the door. Behind it was an observation deck hall. Outside the window, lightning flashed and thunder roared. Standing in front of the window was a burly man with white hair and beard. His suit and his back looked somewhat familiar.

Standing next to him was a man with a bowed head, wearing strange robes, who also seemed slightly familiar.

Wesker put away his pistol and walked forward step by step. "Spencer!"
