Chapter 320 - 320

Your wife is so ugly, no one would want her even if you paid them. I'm talking about serious business. The European Union already has certain regions that possess the G-Virus vaccine. When William Birkin initially fled, he took the G-Virus formula and the vaccine formula. He was bought off by the Travis Family, and later, William defected again, becoming a servant to three masters.

That didn't affect the Travis Family's mastery over the G-Virus and its vaccine. So, regarding the thing you spent a fortune developing, I can only say you might lose everything, down to your underwear," Eddie said, gloating.

"No! That's impossible, you're lying to me! You're lying to me, you're joking with me, right!" David was starting to break down. It seemed he had been tricked.

He seemed to recall the Travis Family negotiating with him to jointly develop the G-Virus, because WilPharma did possess the G-Virus at that time. David was rejected, and now that he thought about it, it seemed the other party had already dug a pit and was waiting for him to jump in!

Boom! At that moment, a shocking explosion sounded outside the conference room, and even the electric lights instantly went out.

"What's going on?" David roared, exasperated and furious.

"I'll go take a look." Dawn said before walking out.

Eddie suddenly thought of something, turned his head to look at another location, and his eyes flickered.

Using X-ray vision, he saw that his brother-in-law, Curtis, was actually walking in the hall, looking extremely pained, as if he had been injected with something.

At the same time, next to Curtis, there was another mutated monster that seemed to maintain its sanity. Its body was very robust, even more standard than a bodybuilder's. Its right hand was a confluence of countless strange tentacles, and it stared blankly at the location of the camera.

Angela still didn't know that something had happened to her brother, and she remained seated with her husband in the conference room.

Eddie suddenly thought, if Curtis died, what would happen to his beautiful wife? What about his sixteen-year-old daughter? Would he have to help take care of them? That wouldn't be good!

Just as he was lost in thought, a loud siren blared. It seemed an alarm had been triggered, an alarm that would notify the National Guard, a privilege David possessed because he was a powerful Senator.

The National Guard, having received the alarm, dispatched a small squad to WP Corporation. Their main force was still cleaning up the wreckage at the airport and eliminating the remaining bioweapons there.

Chapter 519: The G-Monster's Famous Scene

Eddie waved his hand. "You have your own bodyguards; you don't need me to save you. It's better if I leave first and go somewhere higher up. It would be troublesome if something happened later."

Just upon entering the hall, he saw a monster whose right arm was incredibly thick, and its fingers had turned into giant claws. Its left hand still retained a human shape, and its overall appearance remained human, but its right arm had mutated.

When Angela saw this, she immediately cried out sadly, "No, Curtis!"

Eddie pulled Angela back. "Be careful, he has mutated. It looks like he's infected with the G-Virus. Hmph, David, you actually dared to scheme against my brother-in-law. We'll settle this debt slowly. Come on, let's go get the vaccine."

Angela was panicking; when something happened to a family member, she became flustered and didn't know what to do.

Eddie arrived at the place where the vaccines were stored and found that the storage room had been broken into; there wasn't a single complete vaccine left.

"No! What should we do?" Angela was anxious, barely holding back her tears.

"Don't worry, don't cry. Your husband isn't dead yet, so why are you crying? I'll see if I can make a vaccine on the spot, though I don't know if we have enough time." Eddie walked into the lab and started looking for materials.

Angela could only rely on her husband now. "Honey, please, you must save Curtis, he is my brother."

Claire comforted her. "Let's wait and help find materials so he can make the vaccine. You'll only get in the way like this. We need to learn to be calm, calm down. Take a deep breath with me. Come on, stay calm."

Eddie nodded, looking at Claire. His wife was very smart and knew how to help him.

While Eddie was making the vaccine, chaos had already erupted in the hall. Leon and Kevin, who had just arrived, were stunned by the sight.

The twenty heavily armed Guards, comparable to special forces personnel, were wiped out by Curtis, who possessed the giant clawed right arm.

A grenade was hit back by the opponent, injuring their own men. This move of striking friendly forces left the two men quite astonished.

Curtis seemed to retain his sanity, but in reality, Curtis's mind had already been almost completely eroded by the virus. This was merely a monster occupying Curtis's body.

The G-Virus was never about evolution, but a process of consumption and replacement. It consumes everything, replaces it, and then evolves into a different species.

This species is necessarily brand new, capable of adapting and evolving across tens of millions of years to suit the environment.

This species definitely lacks the host's previous memories. So-called evolution, if it cannot occur while maintaining sanity, will simply result in a monster.

Which is exactly what they were seeing now: a frantic and hideous monster.

"My God, we can't handle this monster. Let's leave it to the National Guard. We need to go collect evidence. The public needs the truth now, and we need evidence to report back. I don't want my bonus to be ruined," Kevin complained.

Just then, Leon's communicator lit up, and Helena's voice came through. "Leon, Kevin, head to the monitoring room now and transmit the surveillance data remotely. See if there is any other evidence regarding the virus transaction. Someone must be planning this incident."

"Understood, we're going now." Leon said, and then ran off. He also didn't want to deal with the two monsters downstairs.

Without Angela here, why bother acting like a hero?

By the time the National Guard arrived, partial area decontamination and cleanup activities had already begun in the laboratory building.

Curtis was blasted away by a rocket launcher, followed by an overwhelming barrage of incendiary bombs that caused the still stunned Curtis to constantly scream in agony as he burned.

The other monster, which was giant-like and incredibly hideous, moved. "You are the sacrifices. I will reveal the truth about Raccoon City!"

After the giant finished speaking, he rushed out. Facing the assault rifle bullets of the Guard members, he charged directly, shrugging off the damage.

Even the bullets that hit him merely embedded themselves in his muscle tissue and were unable to cause effective lethal damage.

A Guard member was carried and slammed into another room. He continuously endured the hits, pushing the opponent from the laboratory hall all the way outside the building.

At this point, the giant wrapped the deceased Guard member with the tentacles of his right hand and proceeded to devour him, a look of satisfaction flashing across his hideous face.

The exhilaration of the killing quickly made the giant excited. His remaining sanity seemed about to be consumed by the virus, so he immediately ran non-stop toward the city center.

That direction led to the Havverville City television station. It seemed he was going there to broadcast something strange live.

Soon, Eddie made a vaccine, taking only five minutes. "It's ready. Let's go find Curtis. If we're in time and he hasn't mutated further, he should be savable."

"That's good. Let's go find him. Thank you, honey," Angela said, wiping away her tears.

"It's nothing, just a small favor. Come on, saving him is what matters. Try to be calmer in the future," Eddie chuckled.

When they arrived at the hall, it was flooded; fire hoses were everywhere releasing water to extinguish the fires.

The National Guard was still attacking an incredibly hideous monster. This monster's mutation was very rapid, already reaching the G2 stage, having grown its own head and pushing Curtis's original head down below.

The Guard members were retreating step by step while simultaneously attacking Curtis with assault rifles.

Curtis was hit by the bullets squarely, yet he suffered no damage. Instead, he raised his massive right claw and directly swatted two soldiers, splitting them in half.

Two soldiers pressed the button for the transparent elevator and dragged a Guard member, whose leg was injured by a grenade blast, inside the elevator.

The elevator began to ascend rapidly. Its destination was a thirty-meter-high walkway corridor, from which they could quickly reach the reception hall and escape the building.

They saw that the G2-form Curtis had already grown a tail. With a powerful leap, he jumped onto the fifteen-meter-high walkway, nearly crushing it.

Just then, the elevator passed right by Curtis, and the enraged Curtis continued to jump upwards forcefully.

Reaching the elevator's final destination, as the three soldiers stepped out, what they saw was a massive right arm that directly smacked the elevator away.
