This is now the second day of the journey and we should reach the castle after dawn tomorrow I was quite nervous I have never seen the duke and only heard a few things about him which I do hope to be false, Gertrude "yes miss do you need anything" I just wanted to ask if you know anything about the duke " I'm afraid I don't know a lot only a few stories but it's probably false gossip " I wouldn't mind knowing , could you tell me what you've heard," well I heard that the past 5 dukes all died in a mysterious way" oh? " yes so it was said that a few years ago the Duke of that time traveled into an unknown land seeing it as a beautiful land he wanted to claim it as his own when he came across some warriors but they weren't ordinary people and they led him to their king to determine what kind of threat he his the duke found the land and people very strange having beauty of that of an angel with perfect skin and strong physic so he decided he would act as a lost person and find out what made this place so strange when brought towards the king he managed to act as a normal lost man wandering about the earth and have mysteriously stumbled upon the land and how he admired the beauty of the land and the people the king thought him alright and made to show him their land and traditions so they took him in and treated him well after a few days of staying on the land he snuck out in the middle of the night to snoop around and he started hearing chants in the distance so he snuck around and hid in the bushes to watch and he saw all the towns people gathered in the square and he noticed other people in chains in the center on the ground he first thought they were perpetrators that they apprehended until he saw the king stand up from his throne walked towards one of the captives and bit into his neck the girl looked she wanted to scream but some how couldn't then he saw the king look into the girls eyes and hand her a knife and like a trance she took it and stabbed her own heart , the whole town what hooting and howling and then they all pounced on the remaining people in chains and that's when he noticed their sharpened elongated teeth and claws and they were drinking the blood of these people he realized then what they were ancient myths he heard about but never believed in creatures with eternal youth he went back into his room before they could spot him while in his room he deduced a plan he would kill the king and drink his blood for eternal youth and claim this beautiful land as his own and rule over the people the plan was set, so in the afternoon he decided to go into the kings chambers with the sharpest knife that he owns and aimed it for the kings heart and stabbed it the kings eye shot open dark red and his fangs elongating the duke scrambled away wondering how he is still alive but he still drank a little of his blood hoping to change but nothing happened and then he ran away " but what does this have to do with the current duke " yes miss you see before he could leave the king gave him a scratch down his spine and cursed the generations of dukes to die a brutal untimely death and so it has been for the past few generations and now the current duke is looking for the cure some say he is looking for the purest virgin and has been sleeping around hoping it will work while some say he is gathering impossible materials for a special ritual that will occur the next blood moon" wow that is a crazy theory do you believe in it Gertrude " I do believe he is looking for a cure because the past duke have actually all died mysteriously but I think the rest is just stories" hmm maybe she looked out at the land outside mulling over the story she just heard.
