The morning continued peacefully at Malfoy's bar.
At least on the surface.
Outside the building—
Malfoy was arranging several barrels of beer and wine that had just arrived.
Business still had to continue.
Even with all the recent trouble.
Rin lifted a barrel onto his shoulder.
While Bomb carried another one beside him.
Bomb looked around.
"Where should we put this?"
Malfoy wiped his forehead.
"Put it in the middle first."
Bomb nodded.
"Got it."
The two carried the barrels toward the storage area.
Meanwhile—
Malfoy checked the delivery list.
Counting each barrel carefully.
After a moment, he looked toward his daughter.
"Fanny."
The fox girl looked up.
"Yeah?"
"Can you bring the carriage over here?"
Malfoy pointed across the street.
Their carriage was parked near a small stable.
Fanny nodded.
"Sure."
She immediately started walking toward it.
Crossing the road while Bomb and Rin continued moving barrels.
The street itself was relatively quiet.
A few merchants.
A few travelers.
Nothing unusual.
For the moment—
everything seemed normal.
A few minutes later—
Saito walked out of the bar.
Looking at the barrels scattered around the yard.
"How's the work?"
Rin immediately dropped onto a barrel.
"Exhausting."
Bomb nodded.
"I agree."
Saito laughed.
"You carried like six barrels."
"Exactly."
Rin replied.
"Six too many."
Malfoy smiled slightly.
Then his expression changed.
"Sir Saito."
Saito noticed it immediately.
The worry on Malfoy's face.
His smile disappeared.
"What's wrong?"
Malfoy glanced toward the road.
Then toward the stable across the street.
"Fanny."
Saito followed his gaze.
"She still hasn't come back yet."
The smile vanished from Saito's face.
"I see."
That wasn't normal.
The stable wasn't far away.
A few minutes at most.
Not this long.
Before Saito could say anything—
Malfoy's ears suddenly twitched.
He heard something.
Footsteps.
Lots of them.
Coming from the road.
His face paled.
"Oh no."
Saito immediately looked at him.
"What?"
Malfoy swallowed.
"They're back."
His voice was barely above a whisper.
Then he quickly looked at Saito.
"You need to get inside."
"Now."
Saito glanced toward the road.
Then back at Malfoy.
After a moment—
he nodded.
"Bomb."
"Rin."
The two immediately stood up.
"We're going inside."
Rin looked confused.
"What about Fanny?"
Saito's expression hardened.
"We'll deal with that in a moment."
The three headed toward the entrance of the bar.
Meanwhile—
the sound of approaching footsteps continued getting closer.
And closer.
Until it became clear that whoever was coming—
was not arriving alone.
The footsteps finally stopped.
A group of police officers appeared at the front of the bar.
Matthew walked at the center.
A smug smile on his face.
Malfoy's expression darkened.
"...You're back."
Matthew laughed.
"Of course."
Then he extended a hand.
"Now."
"The money."
Malfoy reluctantly handed over a sack of coins.
Matthew opened it.
Counted the contents.
Then whistled.
"Wow."
"That's a lot."
His eyes narrowed.
Then he looked directly at Malfoy.
"Did Blue Scarf give this to you?"
Malfoy froze.
"Blue Scarf?"
Matthew smirked.
"Don't play dumb."
"The same Blue Scarf who took down my men yesterday."
He flicked his hand casually.
Immediately—
one of the officers stepped forward.
Dragging someone with him.
Fanny.
"Let go of me!"
She struggled violently.
But the officer's grip didn't loosen.
Malfoy's eyes widened.
"Fanny!"
The fox girl kicked and fought.
The officer simply laughed.
Malfoy immediately stepped forward.
"Let my daughter go!"
Matthew's smile widened.
"A civilian helping criminals..."
He shrugged.
"Sounds like a criminal to me."
Malfoy's fists clenched.
Matthew stepped closer.
"So."
"Tell me where Blue Scarf is."
Malfoy looked away.
"I don't know."
Matthew sighed dramatically.
"Too bad."
Then he pointed toward the bar.
"Go check inside."
Several officers immediately moved toward the entrance.
At the same time—
another officer grabbed Malfoy from behind.
Preventing him from interfering.
"Sir!"
Fanny shouted.
Malfoy struggled.
But there were too many of them.
Meanwhile—
the officers reached the front door.
And began heading inside the bar.
Completely unaware—
that the people they were looking for were already waiting.
Inside the bar—
Saito stood near the window.
Looking at the officers approaching.
"Guys."
"Plan B."
Bomb, Rin, Alya, and Kaito nodded.
No questions asked.
A few moments later—
the officers pushed open the door and entered.
Then—
SLAM!
Rin shut the door behind them.
The officers immediately turned.
Rin grinned.
"Hello there."
"Let's play a game."
The officers froze.
At the same time—
Saito calmly walked down the stairs.
The officers quickly pointed their guns at the crew.
"Don't move!"
Saito didn't even react.
Instead he looked at Rin.
"Hold them."
Rin vanished forward.
In seconds—
guns were knocked from hands.
Weapons scattered across the floor.
The officers barely had time to react.
Meanwhile—
Saito walked out of the bar.
Back into the street.
Matthew's eyes narrowed.
"There he is."
Then he pointed at Saito.
"You were supposed to stay in Jokun City."
Saito stopped between the bar and Matthew's group.
His scarf swayed in the wind.
Behind Matthew—
Fanny was still being held.
Malfoy struggled against the officer restraining him.
"Sir Saito!"
Malfoy shouted.
Saito kept his eyes on Matthew.
"Let them go."
Matthew laughed.
"And if I don't?"
Saito pointed toward the bar.
"Your people get it."
Matthew smirked.
"Heh."
"And what can you do about it?"
Saito smiled.
A dangerous smile.
"Don't test us, gangster."
Matthew's eyebrow twitched.
Then—
SNAP.
Saito clicked his fingers.
Inside the bar—
shouts erupted. Blood splashing on the bar window.
The silhouettes of officers crashed against tables and walls.
Matthew's expression darkened.
"How dare you."
Saito took a step forward.
His smile disappeared.
"Last warning, Matthew."
His voice became cold.
"Let them go."
He looked at Fanny.
Then at Malfoy.
"They are under my protection."
The street fell silent.
Neither side moved.
Waiting to see who would make the next decision.
Matthew's jaw tightened.
For a moment—
it looked like he was actually considering Saito's warning.
Then he clicked his tongue.
"Fine."
He waved a hand.
The officers released Malfoy and Fanny.
The two immediately ran.
Straight toward Saito.
Malfoy grabbed his daughter's hand.
"Hurry!"
Fanny didn't look back.
They crossed the distance as fast as they could.
Finally reaching the Blue Scarf crew.
Matthew watched them.
Then—
he smiled.
A cruel smile.
"Shoot them."
The officers immediately raised their guns.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Gunfire erupted.
Fanny's eyes widened.
Malfoy reacted instantly.
He pulled his daughter into his arms.
And turned his body toward the bullets.
Shielding her.
"Dad!"
Fanny shouted.
The gunfire continued.
But—
nothing hit them.
Malfoy slowly opened his eyes.
Fanny looked up.
Confused.
Then they turned around.
And froze.
Saito stood in front of them.
Sword raised.
Several bullets scattered at his feet.
Beside him—
Kaito spun a knife between his fingers.
Bomb stood firm with his fists raised.
And Rin held his scythe across his body.
The four had intercepted every shot.
Not a single bullet had reached Malfoy or Fanny.
Saito lowered his sword.
Then looked directly at Matthew.
"Bad move, Captain."
His voice was calm.
But the warning was clear.
Behind him—
Alya hurried over.
She knelt beside Malfoy and Fanny.
Looking them over quickly.
"Are you two okay?"
Malfoy nodded.
Still shocked.
"I..."
"We're fine."
Fanny stared at the backs of the Blue Scarf crew.
The same people she had called criminals.
The same people she had wanted gone.
Now standing between her family and a hail of bullets.
For the first time—
she didn't know what to say.
Matthew clicked his tongue.
"Tch."
Then he raised his hand.
"Arrest them!"
From the woods surrounding the bar—
dozens of officers emerged.
Footsteps echoed across the road.
In moments—
the entire area was surrounded.
Malfoy's face turned pale.
Fanny froze.
"There are so many..."
Saito glanced back.
"Alya."
Alya nodded immediately.
"On it."
She placed her device onto the ground.
Then pressed a button.
BEEP.
A rainbow light spread outward.
A transparent shield rose around Alya, Malfoy, and Fanny.
The hologram shimmered softly.
Protecting everyone inside.
Saito smiled.
"Good."
Then he looked at his crew.
"Guys."
Rin spun his scythe onto his shoulder.
"Aye aye, Captain."
Bomb cracked his knuckles.
"Gladly."
Kaito pulled a knife from his sleeve.
"Time to kill."
Matthew instinctively took a step back.
Then pointed forward.
"Arrest them!"
"Kill them if necessary!"
The officers charged.
Weapons raised.
A wave of white uniforms rushed toward the Blue Scarf crew.
Saito drew his sword.
The blue scarf around his neck fluttered in the wind.
Then he grinned.
"Let's show them why we're called..."
"The Jokun City Conquerors."
The crew smiled.
Ready.
The officers closed in.
And Saito raised his sword.
"Blue Scarf..."
The ground trembled beneath the charging crowd.
Then Saito swung his blade forward.
"ATTACK!"
The two sides collided.
