"Welcome back to the 5A division II state championship play off final in which the Katy tigers face the Cedar Hill Long horns," said Randy's voice through all the speakers next to the stadium once the game had resumed after the halftime break.
18-3 was the score that could be seen throughout the stadium at that moment.
"So far you can appreciate the dominance that the tigers possess over the longhorns team," added Shea. "And that dominance has only one name," Randy continued without having to say the name for the crowd throughout the stadium to know it. "Wyatt Sterling," both commentators said in unison while the screen showed Wyatt's statistics in the first half of the game.
Wyatt Sterling Completed passes / attempts: 4/5 Air yards: 45 Ground yards: 19 Touchdowns: 2
"Dream numbers for any other high school player," Shea finally said. "And not only the statistics but also the fact that he maintains an accuracy ratio above 80% so far," Randy followed showing the detail that in the last 5 passes only 1 had problems in the first quarter.
While both announcers were narrating the situation of what was occurring in the game in the stadium stands another important conversation was being carried out in the stands.
With a black jacket over his shoulders and sunglasses this person was more focused on Wyatt than on the comments that both commentators said in the stadium.
"Every time I see him he surprises me more," said the person sitting at his side who also had his gaze fixed on number 10 while he had in his lap a notebook in which he had notes.
"Uhum," was the only thing the person muttered without even turning to pay attention to his companion.
In that moment the third quarter had begun with the longhorns' offensive team facing against the Katy tigers' defense in that moment you could see how the Longhorns' defensive pocket collapsed and Hobbs was captured.
"And capture!!" Randy shouted over his microphone the sound resonating through all the speakers of the stadium.
"Matt Dimon with a brilliant capture due to the collapse of the Longhorns' pocket before which Hobbs could not react in time and was captured," Shea quickly added towards all the spectators who saw the game both live and through television.
The public's reactions were mixed and in different ways while the Katy tigers' side with their red shirts shouted with emotion and jubilee due to the capture of the opposing quarterback.
On the Longhorns' side there was a deathly silence that was broken by the sound of a boo from a fan.
"Boo," was the first boo that managed to be heard on the longhorns' side.
What began as a single boo went on intensifying little by little until becoming a round of boos that increased until it managed to be heard throughout the stadium.
"Boo!!" was the sound of the crowd.
"Get out," shouted a Cedar Hill student furious at the beating his team was receiving in a match as important as the final was.
"Go home Hobbs," shouted his friend while raising his middle finger in direction towards the QB of his school.
Upon seeing how the situation got out of control and that the team's state fluctuated a lot the longhorns' coach did not lose time and requested a timeout from the referee who sounded his whistle indicating the timeout.
Quickly the coach signaled his players to approach and form quickly a circle around him.
"Can anyone know what you are doing?" was the first question the coach asked all his players giving them a significant look at each one of them.
"This is a fucking final," he continued ranting at his players who lowered their heads without having any argument or way to defend themselves from their score.
"I don't know about you but I do want to leave here with the trophy in my arm," the coach continued before pointing with his finger at the other bench in which the tigers' players were located.
Pointing especially at the player seated with jersey number 10 who was in a relaxed posture while drinking water and laughing at something his teammate said to him.
"Look at them they act as if they were already champions," the coach added more wood to the fire while causing the gazes of all his players to frown at that contrast of perspective.
"Especially him," pointing towards Wyatt. "The number 1 recruit of this generation and for whom all the universities in the country fight so that he goes to their teams," that last comment provoked the fury of all the players.
"Hobbs!!" the coach finally shouted addressing his QB causing him to raise his gaze and concentrate on what his coach said.
"I don't want more errors I want you to go out there and lead the fucking offense without committing any other error," the coach shouted in his direction while approaching and sticking his finger in the chest of the mentioned one giving to understand the seriousness of the situation.
Before that Hobbs did nothing else but nod with force towards his coach. "Are you mute now I asked you a question will you be able to or not?" the coach asked with more seriousness in his voice. "Yes coach!!" Hobbs shouted this time.
"Well go out to the field and prove it," was the last thing the coach said before the timeout ran out and the referee started making signs towards both coaches so that the teams return to the field of play.
What followed after that was a quick offensive series by the longhorns who returned to the field with motivation recovered and ready to overcome the score.
On this occasion Hobbs did not commit any error in his passes trusting fully in Gonzales and in his reception abilities reaching finally the yard 8 of the field of play.
"Ready Hot!!" Hobbs shouted receiving the ball and retreating to have a complete view of the field of play.
In that moment he saw how Gonzales was strongly marked by a cornerback who had stuck to him like glue but in spite of that Gonzales extended his hand and requested the ball.
Decided to trust his teammate this time Hobbs did not waver more and before the pocket collapse before the pressure of the tigers' defensive line he threw a quick pass in direction towards Gonzales.
Gonzales upon seeing the ball come flying from Hobbs' fingers immediately started making quick movements to try to remove the cornerback who had him marked.
With a brilliant fake he managed to get off his mark and then jump as high as he could to be able to catch the ball that was heading in his direction.
In the moment in which his hands felt the leather of the ball between his fingers immediately he closed his hands on it to then take it to his chest and prepare for the fall that was approaching.
With a loud sound Gonzales fell to the ground with the ball firmly attached to his body direct in the touchdown zone.
"Piii" the sound of the whistle was the first thing his ears caught before raising his view and seeing the referee make the scoring signal.
"Yes!!" Gonzales shouted once he stood up and was surrounded by his teammates who started jumping and celebrating in the middle of the crowd's roar.
"That's how it's done!!" Hobbs roared next to Gonzales letting out in that roar all the frustration he had accumulated.
Under the insistence of the referee the longhorns' team had to leave the celebration aside so that the special team could enter and add the extra point with the field goal.
18-10 Current score.
"And the cedar Hill team manages to add 7 valuable points," Shea quickly narrated in direction towards the crowd.
"And it could not be in a more opportune moment that field goal returned the spirit to the whole team," Randy followed with the microphone. "Now everything depends on if the defense can support the Tigers' attack," was the last thing he said while the camera quickly focused on the Tigers' team specifically on the player with the dorsal number 10.
Without saying any word quickly they put themselves in position while the longhorns' defensive team equally put themselves in position.
Once with the ball in his hands Wyatt did not lose time and threw a quick and surgical pass which was caught by Fulks to add some 15 yards more and getting quickly a new offensive opportunity without leaving opportunity to the longhorns' team to interrupt him.
"And Sterling quickly lowers the spirits of the longhorns' team with a quick 15-yard pass letting them know that he is the one who rules!" Randy roared under the crowd's screams.
"That's how it's done Wyatt," shouted one of the cheerleaders in a loud voice followed by the rest of the cheerleaders and the people who came to support the tigers' team.
"Let's go Tigers," roared another in the crowd being followed by the scream of all the crowd.
"TIGERS TIGERS TIGERS," roared all the crowd in unison.
"He doesn't give them any opportunity," said the same person with the jacket seeing the last pass that Wyatt had performed.
"He doesn't break under pressure," added his companion noting how Wyatt seemed to play without any problem as if he had been born for this type of situations knowing what to do in those moments.
"That is something that differentiates a normal Quaterback from an elite one," was the next thing the man in the jacket said.
"Have you talked to him?" his companion asked in his direction causing for the first time the man to pull away his attention from the action on the field.
"Not since the official visit still he doesn't have a clear choice," he said with a tired sigh.
And the thing is he was not the only one who had that conversation but in the whole stadium many people had the same discussion of where is it that this talent would go to play next year.
"At least that time he showed very interested in the program," his companion tried to encourage in direction to the man who simply nodded.
Returning to the action occurring on the field the Tigers had managed to advance more yards being only 15 Yards from the touchdown zone and being in 3rd and 3 yards on that occasion.
Without saying any word and without losing time the tigers' team were ready and in position waiting for the command of their quarterback trusting fully in his decisions and in his capacity of judgment.
"Ready Hot," shouted Wyatt's unmistakable voice in direction towards his teammates receiving quickly the ball between his hands to retreat some steps and raise his view to be able to scan the field without any complication.
The view that Wyatt received was of pure chaos upon seeing how he didn't have a clean passing line and that his protection pocket was about to collapse so without losing time he decided to run as fast as he could in direction towards the line of scrimmage with the objective of getting the 3 remaining yards to obtain the new opportunity.
Running direct towards the line of scrimmage immediately he prepared and as soon as he was close enough he jumped as high as he could crossing the line of scrimmage before falling and being buried by a multitude of players.
Once the referee sounded the whistle the players little by little stood up revealing Wyatt under all that rubble of bodies firmly holding the ball and getting the new offensive opportunity for his team.
"And sterling gets it!!" Randy roared euphoric towards the crowd who roared in ovations towards him.
After that what followed was the next opportunity in which Wyatt sent a direct pass towards the corner of the touchdown zone getting another Touchdown for his team increasing the advantage his team had.
24-10 current score.
Upon seeing that score the spirit they had gained the Longhorns in the last Touchdown vanished like a candle in the wind.
Now the only thought that circled through the mind of these players was that the game would end at once and that they would not lose by much.

What did you think of the chapter?
If you watched season 2 of the 'Ted' series, you know that Blaire gets pregnant. Now, what would you think if that happened to her and Wyatt? Instead of an abortion, they decide to have the baby. It's actually quite common for college athletes to become young parents.
