The next morning…
I didn't feel normal.
Not even a little.
I barely slept last night.
Every time I closed my eyes—
I saw that reflection again.
That figure.
Standing behind me.
Watching.
"…I need answers," I muttered as I walked toward the classroom.
For the first time since I joined this college—
I wasn't annoyed.
I wasn't confused.
I was serious.
Because whatever this was…
It wasn't something I could ignore anymore.
The moment I entered the class—
My eyes searched for her.
Luna.
She was already there.
Sitting in her usual seat.
Calm.
Quiet.
Like always.
As if nothing had changed.
But for me—
Everything had.
I walked straight toward her desk.
Ignoring everyone else.
"We need to talk."
She looked up at me.
No surprise.
No confusion.
Just that same calm expression.
"You finally understand," she said.
I frowned.
"Understand what?"
"That this isn't normal."
"…So you admit it."
"I never denied it."
I clenched my jaw slightly.
"Then explain."
Her gaze stayed on me for a few seconds.
Like she was deciding something.
Then finally—
"You were being watched."
"I figured that much," I replied.
"But you don't know why."
"…No."
Silence.
The classroom noise faded into the background.
Everything felt distant.
Then—
"It's because of me."
I froze.
"…What?"
She looked away slightly.
"From the moment you interacted with me…"
"You became visible."
My mind went blank.
"…Visible to what?"
She didn't answer immediately.
Which made it worse.
A lot worse.
"Luna."
"…To things you shouldn't be able to see," she said quietly.
A chill ran down my spine.
"That doesn't make any sense."
"It doesn't have to."
"That's not how logic works!"
She didn't react.
Of course she didn't.
I ran a hand through my hair.
"This is insane…"
"Yes."
"…You're agreeing?!"
"Because it's true."
I stared at her.
Trying to figure out if she was serious.
Trying to see if she was lying.
But her expression didn't change.
Not even a little.
"…What kind of things?" I asked slowly.
This time—
She hesitated.
That alone told me everything.
Something big.
Something dangerous.
Then finally—
"Things that don't belong here."
Silence.
My heartbeat started rising again.
"…You mean… ghosts or something?"
She didn't respond.
Which was not a good sign.
At all.
Before I could ask anything else—
"Wow."
A familiar voice cut in.
Kiara.
Of course.
She walked up beside us, arms crossed, a smile playing on her lips.
"Now this is getting interesting."
"How much did you hear?" I asked.
"Enough," she replied.
"But not everything."
Of course.
"Were you eavesdropping?" I frowned.
"Obviously."
"…You're unbelievable."
"I know."
She glanced at Luna.
"So, you finally told him?"
"Not everything," Luna replied.
"Figures."
Kiara looked at me again.
"Well, Ayaan… welcome to the not-so-normal side of life."
"I didn't sign up for this."
"No one does."
Before I could respond—
Meera walked into the classroom.
She looked at the three of us.
Standing together.
Serious.
Tense.
"…Did I miss something?" she asked softly.
I looked at her.
For a moment—
I hesitated.
Should I tell her?
Should I not?
Luna remained silent.
Kiara just watched.
Waiting.
"…Yeah," I said finally.
"You missed a lot."
