Of course grinding exp and levelling up was part of Agra's plan. But reading the notification dangling in front of his eye made his heart to sink as his face ran pale.
He looked at the terrifying dream tree in front of him before his eyes darted around the forest then back to the tree.
If what the system notification was displaying was right, then all the trees around him were a beast, and not just one or two, an entire forest.
This was massively dangerous considering a fact that Agra cannot cast any spell right now due to his lack of mana, making him completely defenseless.
He was in that spot where, if anyone would try to say that, "Luckily this was just a feral tier beast," they'd still he wrong.
Generally, all the beasts in the universes are categorized into Green, white and the Golden category.
The green category are basically found in the world of the mortals, like the one Agra was facing. The white categories would always be found in the world of the medleys and the immortals, and lastly, the golden category would be found in the realm of gods and demons.
A Feral tier beast of Golden category would be at least a hundred times stronger than that of white category, while that of a white category being at least a hundred times stronger than the basic tier beast of Green category.
In each of this categories, the beasts have been divided into tiers based on their strength, which are as follows
- [Feral Tier]
- [Savage Tier]
- [Dominion Tier]
- [Monarch Tier]
- [Overlord Tier]
- [Mythic Tier]
- [Ascendant Tier]
- [Abyssal Tier]
The feral tier is the weakest of it all while the Abyssal tier being the currently known strongest. That to be said, Savage tier beast is at least ten times stronger than the feral tier beast, which certainly did not look good to Agra.
He was currently surrounded by hundreds, maybe even thousands of Dream tree beasts, and who could tell if all of them were of feral tier.
"I guess I don't have any other choice." He muttered while s charging towards the tree.
At this moment, he thought it would be the best if he maintains the fighting to, as minimal radius as possible. It was the only way he could make sure that other trees wouldn't wake, and almost to make sure that no thorns would be shoot out and accidentally hit the other trees.
Seeing this, the tree did not hesitate to throw a thorn towards Agra. It was fast, but just like before, he effortlessly tilted his head to the side and making the thorn to miss him.
He couldn't tell if he had always been this fast, or did everything change after the anomaly.
But all in all, Agra knew that he wasn't the same anymore, not just because he was carrying the weight of fate of these all three races, but because he was becoming the anomaly itself, with the only thing holding him back being the witch-warlock bond, and the death itself.
The thorn missed him by just an inch, but at that moment Agra remembered something crusual that he had forgotten for just a split of a second.
"Crup!" He gulped while watching the thorn brushing against the air and heading behind him. It was already too late for him to so anything. And just as like that.
Thug!
"SKREEEEEHHHHHHHHHH!" a shrill, tearing cry that split the silence like metal grinding against the bone echoed through the air in a split of a second before completely muting, but just that split of a second was enough to worsen Agra's situation.

The text displayed the moment the thorn thrown by the first tree hit the tree behind Agra, and killing it instantly after a heaven shuttering cry.
He wasn't the one who killed this creature, but as it counts, as long as he was even indirectly, responsible for its death, then it counts.
But that wasn't the most important thing taking place right now, what mattered was the fact that the cry had awakened almost half of the entire forest, which dropped Agra's survival rate to zero.
He didn't stop charging forward though. The milk hard already been spilled and there was nothing that he could do about it.
He ran, as fast as he could as he didn't wish to give the tree a chance to launch another attack towards him, and just as he got close enough he clenched his fist tight while targeting a specific spot on the tree as his bullseyes.
The grip of his fist tightened, the veins in his arm rising like rivers ready to burst. His knuckles cracked, and his breath came heavy as he pulled his hand back, winding it like a weapon forged for destruction.
He didn't even know what he was doing, all he knew was that he needed to finish this tree as fast as possible before turning his attention to the others, and thus, he desperately decided to pore all the strength of his fibers to his fist.
The air trembled. His body coiled, every muscle taut, every heartbeat pounding like war drums. Then, with a roar in his chest, he launched forward, his fist tearing through the air like a missile, a streak of raw force aimed straight at the Dream Tree's core.

The impact was thunder. Bark shattered, thorns splintered, and the trunk convulsed under the violence of the blow. In an instant, the Dream Tree erupted, splitting into a thousand jagged fragments, its body collapsing in ruin.
Black blood gushed from the wreckage, spraying across the ground in steaming torrents. The stench was acrid, metallic, suffocating, painting the soil in corruption. Agra staggered back, chest heaving, but droplets splattered upward. His mouth opened to gasp, and he swallowed some of it some of it by accident.
The taste was bitter, corrosive, like swallowing death itself. His throat burned, his stomach churned, and for a heartbeat, he felt the forest's corruption clawing inside him.
It was terrifying, and in that instance, two unexpected notifications popped in front of his eyes.
