Chapter 134 - Does This Little Girl Have Some Great Treasure at Home?

Before long, Capone Bege led his mafia group away and disappeared from the street.

Although Arashi was still some distance away from him, he had clearly heard what Bege said.

Obviously, Bege had not yet fully taken control of the underworld of the Kingdom of Nasia. Other factions were still entrenched here, and his purpose in coming was to unify them all!

Damn it… this better not interfere with my mission!

Thinking about how Bege might launch a large-scale conflict tonight, Arashi suddenly grew anxious.

If a war broke out, it would definitely affect the entire city—especially places like casinos, which would be the first to be impacted.

"Let's go, let's go!"

Realizing the city's order might soon collapse, Arashi quickly said to Perona, "Hurry up—we're going to win five hundred million Beli!"

"Are we going to a casino?"

Perona's eyes lit up instantly. "I can help you!"

"Haha, that works."

Laughing, Arashi grabbed her hand and ran.

Soon, they arrived at the entrance of a dazzling, gold-plated casino.

This place was like a completely different world compared to the desolate streets they had just passed. At the entrance, all kinds of gamblers came and went—some laughing loudly, others dejected, and some even sitting at the doorway crying as if their lives were over.

As soon as Arashi and Perona approached, two doormen standing neatly at the entrance hurried over and bowed loudly:

"Welcome!"

The next moment, they both dropped to their knees with a thud and said in unison with lifeless expressions:

"We're sorry, we are not worthy to speak to you. Please step on us as you pass!"

"Hehehe…"

Seeing the two kneeling doormen, Perona let out a mischievous laugh. "Now this is proper hospitality."

Naturally, Arashi didn't step on them. Instead, he tossed them two bills and said with a grin, "Good luck, good luck!"

As soon as they entered the casino hall, Arashi's view suddenly opened up.

Rows upon rows of gambling tables filled the vast space. All kinds of gamblers gathered together, shouting and yelling as if they were on stimulants. For those addicted to gambling, even if Nasia turned into hell, it wouldn't matter—as long as they sat at the table, they already felt like they owned the world.

"Arashi, I've exchanged the chips!"

Just as Arashi was scanning the hall and struggling to decide where to go, Perona ran over carrying a large box of chips.

"You exchanged all fifty million Beli into chips?"

Looking at the massive box in her hands, Arashi held his forehead helplessly. "You little gambling addict…"

"Hehe, let's go play!"

With that, Perona hugged the box and ran to the nearest table.

"All-in? All-in?!"

Watching her already reach the table, Arashi blinked sluggishly before his eyes widened. "Perona, don't mess around!"

But by the time he got there, Perona had already pushed all fifty million worth of chips onto the table.

"I'm betting big—nya!"

Hearing her declare it, Arashi almost fainted.

Fifty million on a single bet? Was this little girl from a gambling dynasty? That took some serious guts!

The other gamblers at the table were equally stunned, staring wide-eyed at the mountain of chips. Their hearts nearly jumped out of their chests.

All-in with fifty million… did this little girl have some kind of hidden treasure at home?

By now, Arashi had reached the table. Seeing everyone's shocked expressions, he didn't bother explaining and instead shouted at the stunned dealer:

"Open it, open it! Damn it—if it's not big, I'll kill you!"

At this point, what else could he say besides threatening?

"O-okay!"

The dealer nodded stiffly and called out, "Place your bets, no more changes! Opening now!"

"Open it!"

"It better be big—I put a million on this!"

"Give us triples and wipe everyone out!"

Hearing someone actually hoping for triples, Perona immediately got annoyed. She glared at the gambler and snapped, "Believe it or not, I can make you kneel and beg to die!"

"Haha, feisty little girl!"

The gambler laughed it off. "Alright, alright—big it is! Definitely big!"

"Holy crap—it's big!!!"

When the dealer opened the bowl, revealing two fives and a six, the entire table froze before staring at Perona in disbelief.

"Yay! We won, we won!"

Even Perona hadn't expected to win. She jumped onto the table, counted the points, and after confirming it was indeed "big," she excitedly leaped into Arashi's arms.

"Arashi, I'm amazing, right?!"

"A-amazing…"

Arashi wiped sweat from his forehead, then quickly gathered the chips and made a decisive retreat.

Damn it—guessing big or small was not his strength.

He needed to play Texas Hold'em!

Before long, he found a table for Texas Hold'em.

However, before he could sit down, a middle-aged man in a suit and black hat approached him.

"Good evening, sir."

The man removed his hat and bowed politely. "I am the manager here. The first floor is for regular players. Given your status, you should be in the VIP room on the second floor. Would you be interested?"

"VIP room?"

Arashi paused, then quickly understood.

Clearly, Perona's fifty-million all-in had caught the manager's attention. And indeed, the stakes on the first floor were relatively small—big players like him were naturally treated as VIPs.

"Alright, let's go to the second floor."

Arashi nodded. "Arrange a Texas Hold'em room for me."

"Of course, sir. Please follow me."

The manager bowed again, put his hat back on, and led Arashi and Perona to a private room on the second floor.

After knocking lightly, he opened the door and stepped aside respectfully. "Sir, please."

Without hesitation, Arashi walked in with Perona.

The room was spacious, fully equipped, with a round table at the center. Around it sat seven or eight well-dressed men and women of varying appearances.

Clearly, this was a VIP Texas Hold'em table.

Arashi smiled at the gazes directed his way, then took an empty seat and said, "Everyone, I—"

"No need for pleasantries."

A richly dressed man sitting across from him gave a stiff smile and said to the dealer at the head of the table, "Let's begin."
