Lui (thinking): He is annoying, but he is the best person that could come here.
Speaks up
Good morning, Funi.
Mina: Good morning, Funi. Go and take a seat, we will soon start the lesson hour.
Funi: Yees teacher!
Sits at his chair
Funi:So teacher, what will we be doing today? Do you need me to do anything? I can clean the class now or clean the table for you.
Mina: Hmm, don't worry about it, I can handle these myself.
Lui (thinking): With him here I don't even have to worry anymore about who comes in the classroom, because he will talk to everyone. Plus, the teacher can't go into conversation with me anymore since he will enter the conversation.
Slightly grins.
Mina (thinking): There goes my chance to talk to Lui and advise him, only because of Funi.
Funi slips from his desk into Lui's desk.
Funi: Yooo Lui, what are you doing?
Lui (thinking): This is the worst part with him. He sticks to people like crazy and finds it normal. How can't he tell that I am reading the book when I am keeping the book here in front of me?
While Lui is conservative or rather says other things in public, when he doesn't have any use of them or rather when he really finds them annoying, he talks to them closely so the image of teachers for him isn't broken.
Lui: Get back in your desk!! Your presence is annoying.
funi gets even closer
Funi : Ehh, I thought you were on your good side today. You even said good morning to me.
While it's true that Lui doesn't care much about other people, Funi was the guy that he has been seated with since forever until third year of high school, not because he chose that but from the teacher's decision.
30 minutes later the class gets all full.
Mina: Okay class, today we will learn about the history of heroes around the world.
Lui (thinking): Great, now can I even pull answering questions that she will make with this that happened today?
Mina sees Lui.
Mina: Lui, what is the year that the great man died?
Lui: June 11, 323 BC.
Class sees Lui's expressionless face, more interesting than the answer.
Mina: Lui, what is the year that the peasant girl died then?
Lui: 1431.
Mina (thinking): He really is good at this. Well, this may let him become more part of the class, maybe even communicate with others.
Lui (thinking): Two answers correct isn't bad at all for the day. Now all I have to do is get lost from eyes so I don't get raised up anymore. I don't want to give a wrong answer that could damage the opinion she has on me for now.
5 minutes later.
Okay class, for now you have a 5 minute break.
The classroom students move, some talk, some listen.
Lui (thinking): I really hate short breaks. For what do they even do it? It's just harder to start again the lessons, plus having to deal with all these people. Better get to act like I am doing something so it doesn't seem that I am free to talk or something.
Teacher Mina comes in class again.
Mina: Okay everyone, now we will have a group job, so everyone pair up into two person groups.
As Lui hears this, he almost twists but still barely holds up by putting his face down on the desk.
Lui (thinking): T-this is bad. This is really bad. I don't want to work in a group. I can do everything by myself. Why did she do this all of a sudden? I shouldn't have come this early in the classroom. It feels like she is desperate to get me to socialize with other people.
Everyone pairs up in groups of two, even Funi.
Lui acts as if nothing is wrong so he doesn't get detected by teacher Mina, but this was all done for him so she notices his every step.
Mina: Lui, why haven't you paired up with anyone?
Lui: Shit. W-well, as soon as I would try everyone got themselves a team and I thought, well, can't do a thing about it.
Mina (thinking): Well, he isn't that wrong on that though. Everyone seems to have gotten a pair. Ehhh, even Funi got a pair! Well now what should I even do? Should I pair with him? No, that could be embarrassing or even make the other students think I am favoring him.
Sees the classroom from the beginning to the end.
Hmm, there really seems to be no other person to team up with him.
In the moment a sudden move.
Huuuuh?! Ayaka hasn't paired up either?
Teacher Mina grins with joy.
Mina: Lui, go into Ayaka's desk to become a pair.
Lui (thinking): I swear that you will pay, teacher Mina, for doing this. I will curse you every day that I can. I won't forget this humiliation you are doing to me.
Lui moves into Ayaka's desk.
Lui (thinking): Great, now doing even privacy invasion space.
Pushes quite a bit away from her: It's not like I wanted to be here, I was forced into this.
Ayaka: S-so... U-umm... Should we start?
Lui: Y-yeah.
Lui (thinking): Thinking about it, I have never sat with a girl. Though I feel all these eyes watching me.
Sees Ayaka
She smells like flowers.
Ayaka: U-um... this part is good, right?
Lui: Yes.
Lui (thinking): I can't even keep a conversation with her. Better do both of the jobs so in the end she can just read whatever the teacher wants, so I don't have to communicate with her. But again, she tried talking out of mercy to me. I gotta make it same so she doesn't feel left out.
Turns his head into Ayaka.
Lui: U-um, is this part okay?
Ayaka: Y-yes, I think so.
Lui (thinking): Okay, there we go. Now I can focus on my own.
While Lui may not be noticing it a lot since he doesn't communicate a lot with the other classmates, but Ayaka is a top student plus has quite a lot of friendships both with girls and boys. She is what you could call the famous girl in the class, that everyone would do anything to sit with her, but the guys are cowards to ask her to group with her, and the girls, well, there are really a lot less girls in the classroom, and Ayaka is always with her best friend, but today she was missing, so this led to Lui sitting with Ayaka.
Lui (thinking): Okay, now I am done with everything. No matter what the questions be I can handle them, and even if she needs to read something she can read from my book.
Mina: Okay class, this was a wrap up. Next time we will see your work in groups that you did today.
Lui (thinking): She made me sit here for nothing just to obey her order, tch.
Lui rises from the desk and tries to leave.
Ayaka: U-um... Lui, you can stay here.
The whole class listens to Ayaka.
Lui (thinking): What is she thinking?!
