Mourning hits the first light onto the Founders Seek, and every crew member except Semya wakes up, as they were quick to start their usual routine, and each member has their own job to check if the Founders Seek is in good condition in order for the ship to handle anything. Such as nasty storms, preventing the ship from decaying and other ships attacking them. Starting from the main deck, raising the sails is Luughead job, then sight seeing onto the crows nest on top of the ship is Sally's duties spending her days mostly there, next it checking the Founders Seek's interiors and working with repairs are the twins job, and the rest of the crew would be swabbing the deck then Captain Moed appears onto the main deck.
He exhaled in relief "it's good to see everyone's in great shape today" Captain Moed then greets all his crew mates with gratitude and respect but notice someone is missing "where's Semya" he looks around and doesn't see him anywhere, he first asked the muscles of the crew. "Luughead did you see Semya anywhere"
Luughead nodded "he's probably still asleep, should go I get him" he asked but Captain Moed shook his head "no let him rest he needs it. He'll come eventually when he's ready." Luughead nodded and continued to work on the sails, while Captain Moed continued to greet his crew and headed towards the wheel to navigate the ship.
Later in one of the rooms to sleep in, Semya was seen still asleep, and doesn't seemed to have a good time sleeping as he was dreaming of his former life with his island folks who hated and terrorized him everyday of his life. Until Semya sprung himself to wake up breathing heavily from the nightmare. He looked around to see everyone not in the room, but hears everyone on deck doing their routine, Semya still on a bed and was trying to muster the courage to go towards the upper deck but is still nervous for his first day working with the crew on the Founders Seeks ship until he sees another crew member swabbing the lower deck. Who seemed to be minding his own business as they were wearing the same clothes as everyone else but with a cloak around his body and some strands from his messy hair has hints of pink on his hair, the cleaner suddenly noticed Semya staring at him.
"Hey Stowaway, why are you still here?" as they look at each other with Semya looking nervously "I... I was about to head out"
The cleaner sighed "well, then don't be a coward who hides in shadows, and show the courage who lives in the light"
Semya nodded "okay, I'll take your word for that"
"You better, we all respect the Captain in many different ways. Some with great gratitude, or some with a mixed feeling towards him, but with a face like his, he care for every member" Semya nods without hesitation as the cleaner smiled "also I'm Narrow I help keeping every room clean, so that way everyone can think of this as a second home and I am the only person who knows how to do medical care for the crew"
"Nice to meet you, Narrow"
Semya tries to raise his hand as to attempt to shake hands with Narrow as he chuckles "you know Semya you need to gain someone's trust. Who knows I might have a dagger behind my back" Semya quickly retracts his hand "but since we're first meeting, I'll be the second to gain your trust. But you need to earn more trust with everyone as you don't want a target on your back" then raising his hand towards Narrow, and Semya grabs hold of Narrow's hand as they both shake hands before Semya heads up towards the main deck.
Walking towards the main deck he can already smell the salty air again and was ready to face with some confidence he managed to muster, where he is immediately greeted with a sword pointing towards him again by Sally.
She looked at him with a distrustful expression "there you are little stowaway hope you like your nap. Because today's the day where you start with your first time working amongst pirates. Shall we, captain?" Looking at her back and towards Captain Moed "of course Sally, you may proceed"
Sally then smirks if she's ready to put Semya through intense training, he would first need some instruction from each key member on Founders Seek who they are going to train to become a pirate. Now starting Semya's training Sally first gave him a rope attached to a pole on top of the crows nest, Sally then explain to Semya to first he need to learn how to climb all the way to the crows nest then swing all the way down
"This feels unnecessary," he said looking up how high the length of the rope towards the top of the crows nest.
Sally looked at Semya with a face of disbelief "are you kidding me, I do this all the time. Watch this" Sally starts climbing the rope with ease with such speed and resilience, making her way to the top onto the crows nest, then swinging all the way down "demonstration over now, your turn stowaway"
Semya's jaw dropped, but he looked at Sally with her arms cross waiting for Semya to climb the rope, he sighs and tries to climb the rope, but he struggles to lift himself off the ground by an inch "come on use your weird grotesque arm to grip it better or something"
"I'm trying" however with only a few minutes he eventually gave up gasping for air.
Sally sighs in disappointment "we're going to have to try this another time stowaway. Next training exercise and Luughead gets over here."
Next is heavy lifting when getting new shipments or need to make more room in the ship every member would normally carry a large crate filled with supplies for the crew. A crate was brought to them thanks to Luughead bringing on for them, as Sally then carries a large crate with ease then gives it to Semya to carry but he starts struggling after tilting backwards.
"Hey don't lift with your back, lift with your legs, use every part of your body to carry this simple crate" then suddenly Semya changing his stance and using his right arm was able to carry the crate with ease, giving Sally a subtle smile "alright you seem to get the hang of it. But can you handle one of these" Sally then throws rocks at Semya trying to make him lose balance then he slipped and fell along with the crate breaking on top of him as it was hollow in the inside.
Semya quickly pushes the debris away out of frustration and looks at Sally "you did that on purpose" Semya expressing anger for the first time.
"You have to expect the unexpected, being a pirate ain't no luxury, people get hurt, people die, all we don't want is a weakling like you pushing us down. That is why the Captain assigned me to train you, to toughen your sorry ass up and be better"
Then Semya brushed off his anger towards Sally and got up to do the next training exercise. Bringing him to the front of the ship where is a flag on the tip of the ship Sally needs him to have balance and retrieve the flag from the bowsprit "now I'm thinking she's trying to kill me" Semya thinks to himself.
"Come on we don't have all day" Sally commands Semya harder till he goes on the bowsprit. Going onto the bowsprit carefully he walks trying to gain balance, but due to his differently sized arms it become most challenging for him to gain balance, and quickly he began to struggle by the ship constantly rocking itself by the waves, and almost accidentally falling off the bowsprit "okay easy does it" as Semya said it to himself as he quickly maintains a steady balance.
Then suddenly cannons were fired towards The Founders Seek and actually made contact with the ship, blowing holes into the ship and causing Semya to actually fall off the bowsprit.
"Captain what's happening!" Luughead said shouting towards Captain Moed, with no one on the crow's nest and being a lookout Sally quickly grabs her telescope and sees the same ship that attacked them "ugh, its those bilge rats from before"
"Those guys again. Well then we'll teach them a lesson or two, all hands on deck" as the Captain yelled and everyone quickly got to their station, "Sally, Luughead prepare the cannons retaliate, Topp, Paze we need her to fixed state, and Narrow get the weapons this could be messy..." as soon Captain Moed was going to give more commands to his crew, he notice someone is missing "wait where's Semya!"
"He fell Captain" then Sally looked at the bowsprit and sees Semya still hanging onto the bowsprit thanks to his grotesque arm having a strong grip onto the wooden bowsprit "are you kidding me?!"
"You don't mind helping me. Right?" Knowing that Captain Moed would be mad at Sally. Furious she had no choice but to help him, grabbing the rope and quickly knotting it into a lasso, she throws it and it wraps around Semya's waist before she yanks Semya off the bowsprit and makes his way back onto the deck "now Stowaway, listen since your still in training. The next exercise is defence, protect the ship from those bilge rats" as Sally hands him a sword every crew member on the Founders Seek are ready to fend off the enemy pirates that are heading towards them.
