The thunder is storming upon them and the two captains ready their swords, both of them in a stance waiting for the other to make their move.
"What is happening?" He asked
"Shush, stowaway" as Semya was about to ask, his mouth was covered by Sally "if you want to keep your trap shut then listen. We're here seeing a captain duel" Sally then explains the rules of a captain duel. It is a type of duel where if two captains from different ships, the two Captains are forced to fight face to face, it's an honorary battle between the two captains, and no one cannot intervene in the fight, even if you are close friends with either captain. Then suddenly the duel has officially began with the two captain clashing their blades and holding their own with one another till they both flung back away from each other then clashing their swords again, the both giving it their all then Bulgoar kicks Captain Moed towards the pole then tries to slash Moed's head, but he dodges with ease then retaliates by slashing Bulgoar's right leg and instantly tries to shake the pain away determined to get a hit onto Captain Moed as he is charging towards him, Captain Moed then blocks every swing launched by Captain Bulgoar that comes across him, able to calculate where the next attack where Captain Bulgoar is going to swing at him, as for all the crew members including their enemies are watching, cheering for their respective Captain, on who's going to win the duel even betting with each other.
"I give you fifty gold if Captain Bulgoar wins" a member of Bulgoar's crew said
"in you dreams Wilco, we all know that Captain Moed will win" Topp said, but felt the hand 0f his brother behind him as he grabs him and beings to nudge his head "Topp don't make assumptions with he's going to win" they both laughed.
As everyone are having a sightseeing battle between the duel of two captains, however Semya isn't too keen on watching the fight, and is ready to intervene, but was stopped by Narrow and Luughead "didn't Sally told you, to never intervene a captain duel" Narrow being furious to Semya. But his temper was quickly calm when Luughead patted his back looking at him with concern "calm down Narrow, remember our friend is still new to being a pirate"
Narrow sighed "I know that Luughead, but you know that I am always the one who need to aid everyone. I rarely see entertainment this enjoyable"
"But why you all stop fighting, isn't the whole point of a pirate invasions is to defend the ship at all cost" Semya asked
Luughead nodded "it is, but a captain's duel is special, it's the stopping point to the whole assault, I would know" Luughead feeling disappointed in himself "I would know? Did that mean you interrupted a captain's duel?" Luughead stayed silent for a moment "you're a good man Semya, but you need to realize that you can't prevent anything, you just need it to let happen. Remember that."
Then as they both look towards the captain duel, they see Captain Bulgoar struggling to stand his ground, while Captain Moed is standing his ground great fully, and is still ready to fight "do you yield Bulgoar" Captain Moed demanded in respect.
Captain Bulgoar chuckled "you kidding me" then Captain Bulgoar fixes his stance "Captain Bulgoar never surrenders to no one!" trying to gasp for air, yelling with all his might, he trying charging towards Captain Moed full force unleashing a devastating swing, but was immediately deflected by Captain Moed, and then retaliated causing Captain Bulgoar to fall to the ground letting his blade fall.
"Let's try that again. Do you yield"
Captain Bulgoar gritted his teeth in frustration, but he looked at his hands to see them empty of weapons, and sees the faces of his crew and the crew of Founders Seek and even Captain Moed looking down at him. He sighs in defeat "I... Bulgoar and behalf of my crew the Gore Gushers surrender with honour and defeat" as he lays flat onto the wooden floor.
Captain Moed's crew started to cheer in his victory while Captain Bulgoar's crew as disappointed accepts defeat and gives one of their belongs to The Founders Seek, as a trophy to honour Captain Moed's victory, before sailing away hoping to get another shot to ambush The Founders Seek again "why did you let them go? I thought the whole point as pirates, was to take anything you see as valuable" Semya asked.
Captain Moed laughed loud and proud at Semya's ridiculous question "you see, we aren't just your typical pirates that plunder the sea all those year ago. But now we have a moral code on this ship, so it's wise you should follow them" written on a piece of paper and then was given to Semya.
The note would then explain to Semya of the rules that each crew member must follow.
To all our lovely crew both great and small and want to follow to the path of courage, and for those who follow the rules who wish to become pirates upon the Founders Seek, please follow wisely.
The first rule is that all crew members must respect every battle you fought in, no matter if you win or lose you must show great gratitude after the fight.
The second rule is each settlement we sail to even if its a village, town, or even a small island they would not steal anything from the resident, only buy if it's necessary.
Then the final rule, never use other crew members for your own personal gain, only ask permission from the captain or other crew members as a regulation.
As Semya read through the rules he got a bit curious "has anyone ever broken one of these rules?"
Captain Moed nodded without hesitation "yes only few who were foolish enough to break one rule, and were either exiled from our ship or unfortunately executed by the other pirates, and villages residents" hearing this Semya begin to quiver a bit at the thought of breaking one of these rules it fills him with fear. "Don't worry, you'll to be fine if you follow the rule."
Then Sally came by to find Captain Moed "Sally there you are, how is the ship"
Sally sighs in annoyance "sorry Captain, but its too damaged Topp, and Paze tried everything they can but with the short supplies we have found a port town"
"A port town?"
"Oh right you've never been to one Stowaway"
"Not now Sally, allow me to explain". Captain Moed then explains to Semya that a port town is where most pirate ships dock where they either restock on some supplies, or have a place to rest and drink.
"Are these towns safe enough from any sort of danger?"
"Safe hah! Nowhere is safe"
Sally being humoured then look and saw Captain Moed giving her the stare signaling her to stop then leaves the two. Captain Moed then leaves Semya and head towards the helm, with the sails down thanks to Luughead then drifting off towards the nearest port town to restock on supplies and anything else they need for the ship.
