It had been several minutes since Del initially activated the scanners, but now the students had scanned so many things in the area that they were unable to scan anything new. He could tell due to a lack of audible beeps within earshot.
"I guess it's time for us to move on," Del said, then removed a larger device from his waist that looked to be a bigger version of the student's scanners.
He pressed a few buttons on the device, then it clicked, sending a signal to the students more far away indicating to come back, as well as turning off their scanners.
After waiting a few minutes for everyone to come back, Del shouted, "Alright, students, everyone gather up in the center, it's time for us to move on to the next area!"
All of the students slowly began to gather around Del, but as they did, there was a faint, rhythmic vibration under their feet. It slowly increased in strength, becoming audible, and louder.
"What was that?!" A student cried.
