Seeing all the new information pop up led Akashic to believe he was on the right track.

He hit a brick wall with the lock on resonance, but he could afford it. Before that, he had to be sure of what he was buying.

'Is this worth it?'

Hearing the special privileges and precautions solidified Akashic's decision. Without further hesitation he paid the 5000.

The new item appeared in his inventory as he shifted his body to face Alexia.

"I have a way, and trust that I have no doubt shout your commitment. This is merely a formality."

Confused, Alexia simply remained silent as he spoke.

"Alexia, will you spend the rest of our lives by my side? Once you accept this, we will be bound for eternity. Will you join me, as my queen, and as my first wife?" They locked eyes as Akashic let off those words, fully serious.

Alexis didn't know what he was getting at, but it sounded like a proposal to her. There was not even a fraction of doubt in her mind, there was nothing to think about.

"Of course! Yes!" Practically screaming her answer, the bright smile on her face only grew as she saw the dark purple ring materializing in Akashic's hand.

It was dark purple with royal gold outline and engravings, perfectly suited to her style.

She held up her hand and Akashic slid the ring on.

Going into parallel thought, Akashic quickly made his way to the shop and bought two pills, slipping them into his mouth when he had a chance.

This moved his Agility to 295 and his stamina to 297.

'I see, so Resonance does not add her base stats into the equation. That could've been overpowered with stacking.'

Feeling the bond between them multiply sent shivers through their bodies. Quickly they embraced each other and began a passionate kiss.

*thud* "owww! move your foot!" They were interrupted by the sounds outside the door.

Backing off they looked at each other and smiled.

"Took them long enough to get here, they've been slowly walking down the hall and up the stairs for a few minutes." Akashic chuckled.

"You might as well end the stealth attempt!" Alexia shifted her body, still sitting on Akashic lap, as he shouted for them to come in.

Slowly the door opened and three embarrassed faces came walking in.

"Sorry, Akashic. We were worried about you but too nervous to barge in." Naomi spoke, apologizing, relief in her eye as she saw he was alright.

"It's no problem. Sorry you had to see that last night, though I'm sure you three have questions."

They nodded, moving closer to the bed.

Alexia remained quiet, silently enjoying their contact, when she noticed two of the girls pointed glares at the ring on her finger.

'Lena isn't a surprise. But you, Naomi? I knew there was more to you.' Appreciative of the girls good taste, Alexia rewarded them with a little show.

She subtly shifted her body, providing the girls with an unlocked view of Akashic's chiseled bare torso.

The effect was immediate as Lena's face turned the same color as her hair. On the other hand, the shy Naomi pretended to look away, casting incredibly frequent gazes that lasted for longer and longer periods of time.

Luna was more reserved, but she too had a blush on her cheeks.

Akashic shook his head at the antics, grabbing a handful of Alexia's ass and squeezing it.

He was thankful for her assistance, but now they wouldn't focus on anything he was about to tell them.

Alexia let out a soft moan before moving back, ending the unfiltered view.

With the girls refocusing, Lena was the first to speak.

"We know something's going on, after last night and what happened at the restaurant, we're sure that whatever is happening isn't normal."

"Restaurant? Did someone come for you four as well?!" Akashic questioned.

"No no! It was just some annoying rich kid. He said was a sky or something like that." Naomi spoke, almost calming him down.

'Sky! First Sierra and now them. Why am I connected to all of these big names. I don't really want to have another big enemy.'

"What happened?" Akashic questioned, maybe the situation can be resolved somehow.

Lena recounted the events, leaving nothing out.

Alexia knew of the Sky family and thought she might have made a mistake. She was in a bad headspace at the time so she didn't control her actions. She realized she was dragging Akashic into more danger.

Before she could say anything, however, she felt his hand on her back, slowly caressing it. Feeing comfort, she understood the message he was conveying.

'I'll kill him when I see him.' Consequence no longer mattered. As long as he became strong enough, nothing would. He couldn't stand the fact that someone disrespected his women.

Subconsciously, he already considered the other three his, so this was a massive mistake on Landon's part.

Collecting himself, he finished listening to Lena's recounting and prepared for their questions.

However, Luna's next words shocked the rest of the room, aside from Lena.

"Are you an awakened?"

Akashic and Alexia were surprised Luna knew that term, as their world was hidden from normal individuals.

Naomi was just confused, wondering how they guessed that.

Luna, seeing that it was her turn to explain herself, cleared up some confusion.

"Lena and I have a complicated history. I don't really like to talk about it, but the company our parents worked at was owned by a powerful family in the royal capital. Yet, they were destroyed overnight. We overheard our dad speaking about an Awakened battle.

We lost a lot financially and they were blacklisted. Nobody wanted to partner with them. We moved around a lot before ending up here."

Hearing their story cleared up Akashic and Alexia's surprise. Naomi, on the other hand, embraced the twins as she didn't know about that detail. She only knew their parents got in trouble for some reason.

"I'm sorry to hear about your family. If you need any help, let me know. Silas still owes me a favor. Aside from that, yes, we are Awakened." Faced with his offer of help and straightforward answer, the twins sighed with relief.

They knew he was different from the scary rumors they heard at home.

It was time for them to move on to their next question—

"How do I become an awakened!!?" Naomi excited shouted, breaking the serious atmosphere.

*Ding*

Akashic was startled by the sudden notification before a thought hit him.

Upon seeing her hybrid race, things made even less sense.

'….What?!!'
