Sairis's POV
A knock came at the door, while Sairis was about to stand up from the daybed.
"Come in," Sairis called out.
The door opened, and Tiral stepped inside. He looked guilty, and Sairis had a feeling he was not going to like the reason for the interruption one bit.
Sairis sighed and arched a brow. "What is it, Tiral?" he asked.
Tiral looked at Sairis and then looked at the floor nervously. "I know you said not to disturb you this morning," he said carefully. "But the captain, Kaid, is outside and he says you are needed in the council room. Now." He said in a quiet voice.
Sairis sighed. He had just finished the last page of the book he had been reading since morning and was about to go back to bed with genuine intentions of sleeping for at least an hour. That was apparently not going to happen.
"Did he say why," Sairis asked.
Tiral nodded. "He said that Lady Taal has arrived," he replied.
Sairis went still for a moment.
