Sairis's POV
Sairis woke up feeling tired. Not the kind of tired that a full night of sleep was supposed to fix, but the kind that had settled into his bones and was not in a hurry to leave.
He sat on the edge of the bed for a moment before standing, letting his body catch up with the decision to be awake.
He stood and walked to the mirror.
He lifted his undershirt and looked at his stomach. It was still flat, still normal looking, nothing that would give anything away to someone who did not already know.
He pressed his hand flat against the lower part and felt the slight hardness underneath that had not been there before. Then he let his shirt fall back down and turned away.
He moved to his trunk and opened it and began folding things carefully and setting them aside. He was not packing everything. Not yet.
