Chapter 335: Separate Actions, Throwing the War of the Gods Domain into Chaos!
.....
Hearing his orders, the group kept their mouths shut, waiting quietly for Seito to lay out the rest of the plan.
"There are twenty-four supreme gods in total across this entire domain. Discounting Tet and the already deceased Sword God, twenty-two remain."
"Counting Tet, our side currently boasts seven combatants at the absolute peak of the God-rank. Let's split into seven separate squads and hunt down those peak God-rank targets who lack the backing of a God-King."
Seito's directive was highly objective. He wasn't explicitly demanding that they execute every single one of those deities on sight; he merely wanted them to throw the entire War of the Gods domain into absolute, unmitigated chaos.
Peak God-rank powerhouses like Maple and Amou harbored zero objections to this plan. After sweeping his eyes across the powerful lineup, Tet immediately chimed in with his approval as well. Since he had already tied himself firmly to Seito's ship, pitching in to help was only natural—plus, he would likely harvest a substantial share of benefits when the dust settled.
"Excellent. Let's move out then," Seito declared with a sweeping wave of his hand.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—!
The assembled deities vanished from the spot simultaneously, departing the residential zone. Within the grand space, only the core executives of the Full Moon Guild who had yet to break through to godhood remained behind.
"Seito-kun, wouldn't it be much more efficient if you just used your God-King power to flatten those foreign deities yourself?" Asuna asked, her brow furrowing slightly as she looked at him in confusion.
Given that Seito already possessed the absolute strength of a God-King, letting Amou, Maple, and the others do the heavy lifting felt a bit redundant.
"You don't get it," Arisu Sakayanagi walked over before Seito could reply, her eyes narrowing into a sharp, knowing smile as she explained. "He isn't just cleaning house—he's raising venomous insects in a jar!"
"Raising insects?" Asuna blinked in confusion, immediately asking, "What do you mean by that?"
"It's very simple," Arisu smiled gracefully.
"Executing a genuine God-King-tier powerhouse rewards him with precious Divine Runes."
"Right now, there are still three peak deities within the War of the Gods domain who have powerful God-Kings pulling their strings from behind."
"If those specific deities are pushed into a corner and forced to forcefully advance into the God-King tier themselves, it simply means he can harvest a massive, high-tier crop all at once."
The logic was incredibly transparent. Before Seito officially migrated to the higher God-King Star Region, he wanted to maximize his stat growth and resources as efficiently as possible! To achieve the ultimate return on investment, those peak God-rank targets capable of triggering a God-King ascension naturally became his prime cultivation targets.
The realization hit Asuna like a bolt of lightning, but a secondary doubt quickly cropped up in her mind.
"But what if they choose to pool their forces and form an alliance?" Asuna's question was entirely warranted. What if those newly ascended God-Kings coordinated a joint raid against Seito? Wouldn't that create a highly dangerous situation?
"Have you completely forgotten what my Divinity is?" Seito chuckled softly, cutting into the conversation.
So what if a few early-stage God-Kings banded together? He was the Space God-King wielding the absolute laws of space itself! Just the absolute invulnerability granted by his Kamui Space technique alone guaranteed he would permanently hold the absolute high ground in any engagement. He literally had zero avenues to lose, so there was absolutely no reason to play it safe.
Hearing his reassuring words, Asuna stared blankly at Seito for a moment before lightly tapping her own forehead.
"I guess I was just overthinking things," Asuna let a bright smile break across her face.
Seito didn't linger on the topic. Instead, he smoothly expanded his spatial perception, casting his sensory grid across the entire layout of the War of the Gods domain. His current role was exceptionally straightforward: monitor Maple and the other squads to ensure no catastrophic variables slipped through, and patiently wait for those specific peak God-rank targets to forcefully trigger their God-King ascensions!
Once they took the bait, he would be able to power-level his foundations and enter the God-King Star Region in record time.
...
The War of the Gods Domain.
A distant, majestic planet.
Inside the grand sanctuary belonging to Calshius, the God of the Sky.
At this moment, Calshius, Coulton the Demon God, and Zhu Honglong the Dragon God were seated in a tight circle. Their features were perfectly impassive as they calculatedly sized each other up.
"Zhu Honglong, did an insignificant creature like you actually manage to secure a line to the Dragon God-King?" Calshius let out a soft chuckle, his tone laced with a distinct layer of mockery.
Seated directly opposite him was a massive, red-skinned reptilian creature resembling a four-legged Western dragon.
"Hmph! If you don't have anything intelligent to say, no one will mistake you for a mute," Zhu Honglong snorted coldly.
It was fully aware that Calshius was taking a jab at its identity. The source of the mockery stemmed entirely from the nature of the Dragon God-King backing it. The Dragon God-King was a magnificent, authentic Eastern Divine Dragon. Among the host of subordinate dragon deities serving under his banner, Zhu Honglong was the sole Western dragon variant. Consequently, the Dragon God-King had always viewed it with immense distaste, treating it as nothing more than a highly expendable pawn.
"That's enough," Coulton cut in, halting their bickering before it could escalate. He immediately redirected the conversation to the core agenda, "Have either of you successfully extracted a drop of God-King Divine Blood from your respective sponsors? I've already secured mine."
As he spoke, he casually produced a shimmering, sealed vial containing the volatile essence of a God-King.
"I have mine as well," Calshius followed suit, presenting his own vial of divine blood.
"The situation is identical on my end," Zhu Honglong stated. Although it didn't physically display its vial, it clearly confirmed its status.
"You actually managed to get your hands on a drop too?" Coulton paused, a trace of genuine surprise coloring his gaze as he stared at the red dragon. For him and Calshius, requesting backing from their sponsors wasn't an uphill battle. But Zhu Honglong's strained relationship with its master was a known variable; Coulton had initially assumed the dragon would return empty-handed, making this a highly welcome surprise.
"I secured it," Zhu Honglong nodded, a wave of deep, unspoken emotion swirling in its chest.
If the Space God-King Seito hadn't recently executed a genuine God-King-tier powerhouse in such a terrifying fashion, the haughty Dragon God-King wouldn't have given it the time of day. When all was said and done, it had entirely benefited from the immense pressure created by Seito's sudden existence.
"Should we directly consume the blood and trigger our ascensions into the God-King realm right now?" Calshius asked, steering the meeting toward their tactical objective.
For this campaign, the trio fully intended to lock themselves into an unbreakable alliance. Judging from the recorded data of the previous God-King battle, the spatial techniques utilized by Seito were far too reality-warping and unpredictable to counter individually; their sole path to survival lay in a unified, three-pronged offensive.
"There's no need to rush," Zhu Honglong shook its massive head, its slit pupils narrowing. "Before traveling to this sanctuary, my sensory network detected that major skirmishes have already broken out across various sectors of the domain."
"The peak God-rank powerhouses serving under the Space God-King have launched an active, coordinated offensive across multiple zones, yet the Space God-King himself has completely abstained from taking action."
Zhu Honglong didn't dare to drop its guard for a single second. Seito clearly possessed the sheer offensive capacity to execute a complete, system-wide wipe of the lower territory, yet he had actively chosen to hold back his hand and let his subordinates draw the aggro instead. This structural anomaly felt highly suspicious.
The dragon harbored deep reservations. It strongly suspected that Seito was deliberately setting a perimeter, waiting for them to expose themselves.
"Heh, you're simply being overly paranoid," Calshius laughed dismissively, waving his hand. "Our absolute priority should be securing the God-King tier as early as possible to minimize variables."
"Calshius, you're being far too impatient," Coulton shook his head from the side, backing the dragon's caution. "Let's monitor the grid for one more day before making our final move."
He didn't find Zhu Honglong's theory far-fetched at all; Seito's tactical movements were indeed highly eccentric.
"Fine, have it your way," seeing their unified stance, Calshius shrugged, dismissively dropping the subject for the time being.
