Chapter 271: The Five Swords of Class E? A Totally "Professional" Distribution?

"Onigawara, you first."
Seito looked toward the girl who was one of the legendary "Five Swords" of Class 1-E.
The Five Swords consisted of five girls who stood at the top of the class hierarchy. Based on their names and appearances, they were:
Onigawara Rin: Short black hair, purple eyes, wearing a black sailor suit. She wore an oni mask that covered half her face, giving her a cold, intimidating aura—though she was actually a pure-hearted girl deep down.
Tamaba Satori: Long green hair and yellow eyes. Usually appeared to be a stoic, "Kuudere" type, but she was secretly quite mischievous and manipulative, possessing a charming "gap moe."
Kikakujou Mary: Long blonde hair and sky-blue eyes. A girl who loved to pose, often seen with a book in one hand and a sword in the other. She was beautiful but had a bit of a delusional, "perverted" streak.
Hanasaka Warabi: A blonde loli with sea-blue eyes. The oldest of the Five Swords despite her tiny, fragile appearance, but she was exceptionally fierce!
Inaba Tsukuyo: A white-haired loli with twin tails. She kept her eyes closed constantly, appearing blind, though no one knew for sure. What was certain was that her hearing was supernatural.
These five were the legendary Five Swords of Class 1-E!
Onigawara Rin didn't say a word. Upon hearing Seito's call, she walked directly up to the teacher's podium.
"Ahem..."
Under the watchful eyes of the entire class, Seito used Kamui to suck both himself and her into the spatial dimension.
"???"
The scene left everyone bewildered. Even the Class E boys, who were currently receiving their own Divinity Orbs from Hidenori, froze in place and turned to stare.
Since when does receiving an item require going into a pocket dimension?? No one could wrap their heads around it.
A few moments later...
Zip—!
Onigawara Rin was spat back out, her face flushed a deep crimson. Seeing her expression, the class suddenly had a collective "epiphany," and their mouths began to twitch in unison.
Kirukiru Amou could only shake her head helplessly. There was no doubt about it—Seito was definitely up to no good!
The boys of Class E were green with envy.
Crack—!
Hidenori Tabata's glasses literally shattered! He finally understood why Seito had insisted on distributing the orbs to the girls personally!
So that was the plan all along...!
Hidenori was drowning in jealousy, but he didn't dare pull the same stunt. In fact, none of the boys in Class E would dare try it—they were no match for these girls in a fight.
Zip—!
Seito's head popped out of the Kamui dimension. He cleared his throat and continued: "Inaba Tsukuyo, you're next."
"Mm~"
The white-haired twin-tail loli stood up, walked to Seito's side, and was promptly sucked into the dimension.
Five minutes later...
Zip—!
Tsukuyo emerged with a dizzy look on her face, her cheeks burning red. When she appeared, the expressions in the room turned incredibly strange. Her white hair was a complete mess, looking for all the world like she'd been "ruffled by a wild animal."
Next, the remaining three of the Five Swords were called in one by one to receive their Divinity Orbs. Then came the rest of the girls of Class E.
Without exception, every single one of them emerged from the Kamui dimension looking... a bit "off."
Seito returned to the front of the class with a perfectly deadpan expression. He hadn't done anything inappropriate, of course; he was simply performing a "medical check-up" on everyone. Health is a serious matter, after all. What if they were secretly ill?
By now, the entire class had manifested their powers. Everyone was testing out their newfound abilities, their faces glowing with excitement.
"Onigawara, come here for a second." Seito pulled out one more Divinity Orb and called Rin over.
"What is it?" Rin asked curiously, walking back to him.
"Please give this orb to Kirisu-sensei." Seito handed it over. Since everyone in Class E had gained abilities, it was only right that their homeroom teacher, Mafuyu Kirisu, received one as well.
"Okay." Rin nodded and tucked the orb away.
Kirukiru Amou walked over carrying two bento boxes. "Seito, let's go eat in your classroom."
"Sure."
The two left Class E and headed next door to Class D.
Class 1-D.
Shouko Nishimiya, Yui Yuigahama, Yukino Yukinoshita, Maple, and Risa were all sitting together for lunch. When they saw Seito and Amou arrive, they moved to make room for them.
"Yours," Amou said, handing Seito his bento.
"Thanks." Seito dug in.
After eating for a bit, Maple looked at Seito and said, "Seito-kun, the academy is holding a Sports Festival this Friday."
"???" Seito looked up, confused. "A Sports Festival? Are they really going to have a bunch of superhumans competing to see who's stronger?"
Sensing his thoughts, Amou clarified, "Apparently, this festival is designed to test our combat capabilities. I heard Mayor Kiru was the one who suggested it to the Chairman."
"Mayor Kiru?" Seito's expression turned peculiar. What is that old man up to now? He had a feeling something troublesome was brewing.
"Anyway, we'll deal with Friday when it comes. Let's eat," Yukino interrupted, steering the conversation back to the meal.
After School.
The rest of the day passed in a blur. Seito spent most of the afternoon slacking off on the internet. The teachers had long since given up on him; his grades were perfect, so whether he paid attention or not made no difference.
What baffled the teachers, however, was that the other students of Class D seemed to have suddenly become geniuses, answering complex questions with ease.
Seito stood up and stretched. He walked over to Yukino. "I'm heading to the Nakano residence for tutoring. You guys go on home first."
"Mhm," Yukino nodded.
Seito left through the front door and headed toward Class C. Just as he reached the back door of the room, Ichika Nakano came sprinting out and slammed right into him.
