Chapter 10 - A Sunny Day at Sea

The next morning, the sea was calm.

The waves moved gently, and the ship sailed smoothly across the wide blue water. The sky was clear, and the sun shone brightly above them.

It felt peaceful.

But Peggy sat quietly near the edge of the ship, looking at the sea.

She was thinking about Grandma.

Kichy Rabbit noticed her first.

His ears lowered a little.

"She is still worried," he whispered to Miku.

Miku nodded. "We should do something."

Chikku looked at Peggy, then smiled slightly.

"I have an idea," he said.

Soon, things began to change on the ship.

Kichy started hopping around the deck, pretending to be the captain.

"Attention everyone!" he shouted. "This is Captain Kichy speaking!"

Miku quickly climbed up and joined him.

"I am the lookout!" Miku said loudly, shading his eyes and looking far away.

"No danger ahead… only fun!"

Pinky Pig laughed as she steered the ship.

Meanwhile, Chikku moved to one side of the deck.

He opened the food basket and began preparing something.

The smell slowly spread across the ship.

Miku sniffed the air. "That smells amazing!"

Kichy hopped closer. "What are you making?"

Chikku smiled. "Just wait."

The Cabbage Girls began to clap softly.

Soon, they started singing a cheerful song.

The rhythm filled the air.

Kichy began to dance, jumping and spinning.

Miku joined him, swinging from a rope and landing with a laugh.

Even Pinky Pig tapped her foot while steering.

Peggy turned slowly.

She watched everything.

The laughter… the music… the joy.

For a moment, her worry felt lighter.

Chikku walked toward her and handed her a small plate.

"I made this for you," he said.

Peggy looked at it… then at him.

"Thank you," she said softly.

She took a bite.

It was warm and comforting.

Kichy jumped in front of her.

"No sadness allowed on this ship!" he said.

Miku nodded seriously. "Yes! Only smiles!"

Peggy couldn't help it.

She smiled.

A real one.

Soon, she stood up and joined them.

They laughed, sang, and shared food together on the deck.

The ship sailed forward under the bright sun.

The sea stayed calm.

And for that moment…

There was no fear.

No worry.

Only friendship, warmth, and hope.

And as the wind gently filled the sails, Peggy felt stronger inside.

Because she was not alone.
