Aria sat curled beside Rafael in the private movie room upstairs,wrapped beneath one of the oversized blankets while her favorite movie played softly across the massive screen. The fireplace crackled nearby, casting golden light across the room while rain-like ocean waves echoed faintly outside the glass windows.
Rafael sat close enough for his arm to rest behind her comfortably, his fingers occasionally brushing against her shoulder absentmindedly.
The diamond necklace still rested against her skin.
And every time she moved, the connected heart glimmered softly beneath the firelight.
Aria smiled faintly to herself. Everything tonight still felt unreal.
"You've barely watched ten minutes of the movie," Rafael murmured quietly beside her.
