SF Chapter 91: The Dumpling Paradox III
"And you?" Christy asked, shaking Daniel's hand while looking him up and down.
"No one special," Dani replied casually. "Just Howard's young assistant."
The moment she heard that, the girl immediately lost interest in him, despite him being good-looking.
Penny then asked, "So, Christy, what are your plans?"
"Well, Howard said he'd take me shopping in Beverly Hills."
"Yeah, no, I meant a place to stay," Penny said with a disapproving face. "I said you could stay at my apartment, not turn it into a love hotel."
"Well, it didn't change much, from what I know," Sheldon pointed out, receiving a glare from Penny.
Howard quickly joined the conversation. "Let me offer a little thinking here."
"Why doesn't Christy stay with me?" he proposed.
"Maybe because you live with your mother," Leonard said sarcastically.
Howard glared at him before turning back to the girl. "I do not. My mother lives with me."
"It's settled," Lexi remarked. "Now we can go back to breakfast."
Howard kept staring at Christy.
"So, what do you say? Wanna repair to Casa Wolowitz?"
"What is that, like a Mexican deli?"
"I'm sorry, I should've mentioned this earlier. My last name is Wolowitz," he revealed.
"Oh. That's so cool." The girl was already walking away to get ready to leave. "My first Jew," she grinned at Penny.
"Just remember: no pork, and this particular Jew, no peanuts. Everything else is fine," Dani said, waving casually toward her.
"Howard, can't you see she's using you?" Penny commented as soon as the girl left. "I introduced you two, but I warned you what she was like."
"It is okay, Penny. Who cares? Last night, she pulled off her blouse and I wept."
"Look, Howard, I know her, okay? Just remember: she'll have sex with anyone as long as they keep buying her things."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Yay," Howard replied excitedly, not seeing any problem with that at all. "Now, If you'll excuse me, I have some bar mitzvah bonds to cash."
But before leaving, Howard made a guilty face, despite not feeling guilty at all. "You might want to wash your stuffed toys."
Penny just stared at him with a murderous glare.
"Well, now I can call the cleaning crew and order them to burn everything glowing under blue light," Dani commented while already pulling out his phone.
Penny gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I'm thankful, but you don't need to waste your money, Dani. Besides, I'll have to move in a few days anyway."
"I thought about it, and I decided to rent your apartment, Penny," Dani revealed.
"Sometimes I come here not only for you, but also to hang out with Leonard and the others."
He kissed her hand lightly. "And you can come to LA whenever you want, knowing you still have a place you're familiar with here."
"I know you, Penny. A party girl like you won't survive an entire year in Wilmington. And LA is still the end goal."
Penny jumped on him and gave him an intense kiss. "Let's go to Malibu," she whispered. "I'm only leaving there after you're completely drained."
"Oh, perfect!" Sheldon interrupted the two of them. "Now I don't have to fear a strange new neighbor."
"Yeah, let's go, Penny!" Dani ignored the physicist and walked out with the girl still clinging to him.
[Penny commentary]
The blonde was sitting on Lexi's couch. "For every person who dreams of becoming an actress, Los Angeles is the final destination."
"I'm really excited about this opportunity to do a TV show. But my dream is still to become a movie actress!"

After going to Malibu and several very hot moments later, Daniel and Penny were relaxing in the hot tub in his bedroom.
"My jaw hurts, I'm all sore, and I might need some Preparation H, but I kept my promise!" Penny said while staring at Dani.
Dani made the smuggest face possible. "I'm not a sore loser. Yeah, I'm totally defeated!"
He brushed her hair gently to the side. "I'm gonna miss you, Penny."
"Perv."
"Not that. I mean, that too, but I mean as a friend."
She gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I know. I'm gonna miss you too, Dani."
"Funny, isn't it? We've only known each other for a few months." He chuckled.
"Yeah," she laughed softly too.
Dani pulled her closer, resting her head against his shoulder while gently placing one hand on her hair. "Everything is going to be alright."
"What?" she asked, tilting her head slightly.
"Everything is going to be alright," he simply repeated.
Penny stayed silent for a moment. "But what if it isn't? What if I can't live up to it?"
"Then you come back here, we drink until we can't remember our own names, you cry as much as you need to, and the next day you go back to acting classes."
She just stared at him for a moment.
"Okay, maybe not the next day. Two days. Then acting class. Acting class, then another audition. Then acting class again."
Dani looked at her intensely. "You're 21, Penny, not some granny with only a few days left to live. This is far from your last chance."
"God, you're so hot right now, Dani!" Penny said emotionally before leaning in for a kiss.
"I'm gonna cry, Penny..." he made a sad face. "There's a hot naked girl right in front of me, and little Danny is refusing to go into battle."
She ended up laughing. "Let's let poor little Danny rest today, or he'll turn into a shrimp. And there are still a few days left before I leave. He still has some work to do."
