I presume that the thieves went back to the hole they cralwed out from because their mission was possibly impossibe hahahaha. I went back to bed the moment i remembered that i was strictly told not to sleep on the couch and once that ruthless man would get to know about it,i would be in deep trouble.
Back to the present,i look at the time and then i realise that i need to open some locks because that bold woman is going to try again once she wakes up,wherever she slept.
"Dalitso,"she shouts my name as she is entering the door because now the lock has favoured her in her bitterness
"Yes,"i shout back with no tone of respect only annoyance because i am supposed to be sleeping by this time i mean after all it's the weekend and i go to school a little bit late than on the regular days
"Come down here right now!"Full of rage she shouts
"Ok,"i say in a very inuadible way
Walking down these steps i can't even get a glimpse of how puffed up she might be but i can sense the fit of rage that this woman has,oh well not all days are going to be full of sweets right
phwam!There it goes,the slap of victory and yet pain on my fat and skinny face,this is just a mere sign that my mission was complete.
"Why did you lock us out?"She asks
"I didn't,"i say while caressing that abused part of my pimpled face
"Howcome i was not able to open the door then?"She asks me like i was there when she was making those fruitless attempts
"I don't know,i am just waking up and i didn't even know that you locked me in,"I say
"What do you mean?"She asks,"i didn't sleep a wink last night in that guard's hut and then you tell me this nonsense,"she says but i wonder how my truthful lies are nonsense oh well i guess i might never know
"Sorry,maybe the lock jammed,"I answer as i watch her change from a puff of rage to a suspended woman full of confusion
"How many times has this lock jammed?"She asks
"It has never done that before,"I say
"I am changing it,what nonsense,"She says like she owns the house
"But my dad has the house keys and if you change it,how will he access the house once he come back from the summit?"I ask
"I will inform him,"she says
"He will not agree,"i say while scractching the back of my head
Phwam!And there it goes again oh wow.
"You don't tell me what to do or speak to me like that you embicile,"she says while she enters the house obviously carrying the guard's scent,how humiliating.
"Hie Stacy,"i ask as she is also standing there looking all pitiful at me
"Hey,sorry about that okay and don't worry i will take care of your clothes,"she says while she now starts to move,following her mother's footsteps
"Okay,"i say while closing the door infront of me
"Mom i am going to school,"i tell this woman,always bitting an apple and busy scrolling on her itel
"No you are not,today is saturday so you are supposed to wash the clothes,"she says still not looking at me
"...,"i fail to organise my thoughts in one place so as to give her a concrete reason for her to allow me go to school
"You will no longer be going to school on weekends because you have to work and do the chores,"she continues
Her other motive is to make my academic performance drop so that my father can now be disgusted with my dumb presence.
"Okay,"I say,"i can wash the clothes when i come back,i will use the washing machine."
"I have said that you will not be going to school so shall it be period,"she says now facing me from her back with a very serious look
"Okay,"I say and then face back to retrace my steps
"Wait,"she says as she gathers a pile of peels of bananas and apples in her hands,"throw these out and start preparing breakfast for your sister and i,i am hungry,"she says,"oh and by the way that villager will no longer be coming here,i fired her,"she says
"Okay,"to be honest i am so tired of her stupid games so i don't even have the strength to feel any emotion right now,i guess i will after i eat appropriately
"Breakfast is ready ma'am,"i say because now i feel like my status in this house has been reduced to a house help
"Okay,go and wake up Stacy so that she too can eat,if she is still sleepy take it to her room,"she says as she is coming to take her seat.

...."She is coming,"i tell this woman as i am now sitting down
"I don't like the sound you produce when you are chewing your food it's as if want to drill a hole in my eardrums so go and eat in the kitchen,"she says as she stuffs a piece of bread in her mouth.
"Okay,"i say as i carry my plate
What a save because i never want to sit with her on the same table especially Stacy,she always chews in my ear and produce sounds like a rat is chewing maize or something,i hate it infact hate is very diminishing of the true word,i resent it.
.......I am ready to go to church and repent for this woman has been a very big temptation and has caused me to think of all sorts of wicked things against her,Lord have mercy.
"I am going to church,"i tell her while she is busy doing i don't know and care what
"We are going out so if you are late,that will be your case to solve because we will not wait for you
"Okay,"I say and start heading out
"The driver won't drop you off by the way,you must learn to walk to church and experience what your poor friends experience,"she says
"Okay,"i answer knowing fully well that the driver is never on duty on sundays so that's what i do,walk to church

"where is your mom?I haven't seen her around for a while now,"she asks
"Uhm she went to see her sister at the village but i am sure that she will be around soon,"i lie,what a pity

"What are these rumours that your father has gotten married to another woman who is currently staying with you?"Extending her glasses to lean on her narrow nose,she asks me looking ready to hear a confirmation of an abomination

"Dalitso you are just a child and i know that you can not open up but if anything goes wrong i mean if anything at all crosses the line,don't hesitate to find me or consult the church elders okay?"She tells me now looking all concerned

"Good,have you been eating though?"She asks while scanning me with her glasses
"Yes i have,why do you ask?"I tell her wondering if i look okay
"You are starting to loose weight,"she says
"School stress,nothing much,"i say with a sly smile
"I hope so,"she says while another woman approaches her
"Okay we will talk okay my girl?"She tells me while she allows herself to be pulled away by Mrs Kalinja.
......"I know right,"i smile while smiling and swinging by bag to and fro
"And for the why did you not come to school yesterday?"Bris asks me
"What else could be tha solid reason apart from that woman?"I rhetorically reply
"Ehh she has even reached that point?"He answers
"Nope she hasn't,she has already surpassed the point,"I jokingly reply
"You even have the strenght to even joke,"he says now sounding serious
"I mean i wouldn't the airtime to fly like that without joking around so yeah i do,"i say with confidence,impure confidence to be specific
"Dalitso,"he starts,"i think that maybe you should tell you dad about this i mean if this kind of treatment gets worse,it will affect your academic performance and you and i even know that i can no be of any help when it comes to that,"he sighs
"Hahaha you should yourslef,all concerned and whatnot,anyways ever heard of love is blind?"I ask
"You have a point,"he admitts
"Exactly and you have reminded me,i would like you to be keeping my phone for me you know the itel user wants it,"I say without hesitation and then finish the sentence with a mocking laugh
"What?All that bossing and she uses an itel,what model?"He asks
"I don't know but i am going to give it to you tomorrow okay?"I tell him

"And just where were you?"She asks while looking all impatient

Phwam!There it goes again,for the third time,wow!
"Am i not talking to you?"She furiously asks
"I am coming from church,"i answer while looking at her eye to eye then look away
"Didn't i tell you that we will ne going out?Must we be waiting to you?"She asks
"Sorry mom,"i say
"We are no longer going out,you have annoyed me,just go and prepare lunch,"she tells me
I look at the time and it's 11:45,wow what an experience.
"Okay,"i say
"What are you going to prepare?"She asks
"Nsima,"i answer while making the'obviously'look
"I don't want that,Stacy and i want pizza so since you want nsima you will stay here and cook that nsima of yours,"she says
"Okay,"i answer without even caring
"what is it with your 'okays'?She asks now even more angrier
"....,"i stay put
"Are you challenging me or what?Or is it that you are so respectable?"She asks while she is so shocked to see me stay put and quiet after all the maltreatment
"Sorry mom that's what i mean,"i answer while smiling
"You are even smilling?What kind of a child are you?"She asks
I just want to dance in her face while telling,i am that kind that leaves you speechles haha mamma's girl oh yes but no instead i choose the most polite way to answer her

she stares at me while looking like she is plotting to murdr me and all i can think of is for her to bring it on.
"Bye i will be in my room,"i say while smiling so politely but leaving her embezzled to how a spoilt brat can be so respectful,not all you see is what you see
