Chapter 13 - Chapter 12: The Blood Oath: Shadow of Betrayal and the Luna's Touch

The scorching winds of Haryana had softened slightly in the night.

In the backyard of the Singh Haveli, surrounded by the fragrance of blooming jasmine, Sonal sat alone.

The entire haveli was drowned in silence…

But inside her heart, a storm of memories raged.

In her hand was that blue forest flower Valentine had left for her.

Strangely, even in the darkness, the flower glowed faintly.

Despite the harsh heat of Haryana, it hadn't withered.

Sonal slowly brought it close to her lips.

"Where are you, Valentine? Even in these petals… I can feel the coolness of your breath," she whispered.

A single tear fell from her eyes…

and dropped onto the flower.

That very instant—

The flower came alive.

It pulsed with a deep blue glow, growing brighter.

Sonal gasped in shock.

From the distant forest, she could feel it—

Valentine's intense breathing… his presence…

It wasn't an illusion.

Their Mate Bond had awakened—

and the flower had become their bridge.

---

At the edge of the village, three black vans stopped silently.

The men who stepped out didn't look like ordinary humans.

They were massive… deadly… armed with advanced rifles.

Their leader, Jack, pulled out a silver-coated bullet,

tossed it in the air, and caught it with a cruel smile.

"Vikram Singh was right," he said coldly.

"The Alpha Volkov is hiding here… for his mate."

His eyes gleamed with hunger.

"Capture the girl—Sonal Singh.

The moment she screams… the beast king will walk straight into our trap."

Like shadows, they moved toward the haveli.

Far away, Inspector Ravi was still patrolling the forest—

completely unaware that the Silver Hunters had already reached their target.

---

Deep in the forest palace, Valentine suddenly stood up.

The Wolf Mark on his chest burned like fire.

He could feel it—

Sonal's fear.

"Alina! Sonal is in danger!" he roared.

Before she could respond, he vanished.

Though in human form, his speed was beyond imagination.

He leaped across trees, tore through the wind,

moving faster than anything alive.

The speed he had never shown before…

he unleashed now—to save his love.

---

Meanwhile… at the Haveli

Sonal sat staring at the glowing flower…

When suddenly—

Two hunters jumped over the fence.

She froze.

Before she could scream, they lunged to silence her—

And then…

It happened.

From the towering haveli wall,

a massive black shadow leaped down like lightning.

Dust exploded.

The air shattered.

It was Valentine.

His eyes burned in pure gold.

His face held not a trace of humanity—

only the savage fury of a king protecting his mate.

With a single strike,

he hurled both hunters ten feet away.

Sonal stood frozen, breathless.

Valentine lifted her into his strong arms.

"I'm here, Sonal… nothing will happen to you,"

his voice thundered like the sky itself.

---

Just then—

Jack appeared with his rifle.

"So you finally showed up, Volkov," he sneered,

pulling the trigger.

BANG!

Valentine could have dodged…

But Sonal was in his arms.

To protect her—

He took the bullet himself.

The silver tore through his shoulder.

Silver was poison to his kind.

He dropped to one knee,

his body trembling with unbearable pain.

His inner beast roared in agony.

"Sonal…" he struggled.

Tears streamed down her face.

She placed her trembling hand on his wound.

That day in the forest—

he had healed her pain.

Today… it was her turn.

"Valentine! What have you done?" she cried.

And then—

A miracle.

The moment her touch met his wound,

the pain began to fade.

The poison… dissolved.

As if her very soul rejected harm against him.

Valentine slowly lifted his head.

The wild red fury in his eyes faded—

replaced by something deeper…

Love. Devotion. Surrender.

Even with enemies surrounding them,

the world disappeared in that moment.

He held her hand tightly.

"Sonal… even when I stayed away, I was your breath.

And today, with this wound as witness—

you are mine.

No silver bullet in this world

can ever separate me from you."

Sonal held the glowing blue flower in one hand,

and his wounded shoulder with the other.

Her voice trembled… yet burned with resolve—

"Those who came to tear us apart…

have only brought us closer, Valentine."

Time itself seemed to freeze in the backyard of Singh Haveli.

Moonlight reflected off the silver bullets scattered on the ground…

But sharper than that glow were Valentine's blazing eyes.

Blood flowed from his shoulder—

darkened by the poison of silver.

Yet the Alpha King, ignoring his own life,

held Sonal tightly against his chest… protecting her like his very soul.

As Valentine dropped to his knees in pain,

Sonal felt her heart shatter.

"For me… you did this for me, Valentine?" she cried.

Tearing a piece of her silk saree,

she tried to bandage his wound.

But the moment her tears fell on his injury—

A miracle unfolded.

The Moonstone in her bag

and the glowing blue flower in her hand

lit up together.

A divine blue flame burst forth,

wrapping around Valentine's entire body.

The silver poison…

melted like mist.

His wound began to heal—magically.

Valentine froze.

For the first time, he understood the truth—

Sonal was not just a human girl.

She was his completion…

the missing half of his existence.

Her touch carried a divine power—

one that could calm… even heal a beast king.

"Well… what a beautiful display of love," Jack mocked coldly.

"But Volkov… your story ends here.

Boys—finish them!"

His men raised their rifles.

Suddenly—

Police sirens echoed in the distance.

Red and blue lights flashed across the haveli walls.

Inspector Ravi stormed into the backyard with his team.

But what he saw… left him stunned.

These weren't local criminals.

They were heavily armed international hunters.

"Who are you? What is this illegal armed operation in my village?!" Ravi roared.

But Jack and his men ignored the police—

their aim remained fixed on Valentine.

The moment Valentine sensed danger toward Sonal again—

his restraint shattered.

His wound was healed.

Now, only rage flowed through him.

Right before Sonal and Inspector Ravi's eyes—

his body began to change.

His height increased.

Muscles hardened like stone.

Claws extended like sharp blades.

His eyes burned in pure molten gold.

He didn't become a full wolf—

But something far more terrifying—

A Half-Wolf. Half-King.

His Alpha Roar exploded into the night.

Windows shattered.

The ground trembled.

Even Jack's men—

armed with deadly weapons—

dropped them in fear.

Like lightning—

Valentine attacked.

Within seconds,

Jack's entire team was crushed… defeated… broken.

Inspector Ravi stood frozen—

sweat dripping down his face.

He had never seen power like this.

With a single hand, Valentine lifted Jack by his throat.

Jack struggled… yet laughed.

"You think… Vikram Singh brought us here?" he choked.

"No, Alpha… someone from your own palace…

is feeding us information."

Valentine's eyes widened.

His grip loosened.

Jack dropped a small locket from his pocket.

The moment Valentine saw it—

His face turned pale.

It was a secret insignia…

given only to the most trusted members of his clan.

A traitor…

inside his own kingdom.

(Somewhere in the shadows, Ivan stood silently… watching everything… his face unreadable.)

Meanwhile…

Sonal noticed a torn piece of paper on the ground.

She picked it up.

It was a letter sent to Vikram Singh—from Russia.

Her eyes widened as she read:

"Let the hunt begin.

The Alpha will soon fall."
