A strange team moved around the territory under Teresa's jurisdiction—one Claymore warrior, and one visitor from another world.
One night, Duran and Teresa were eating dinner inside the Capsule house when someone knocked on the door.
The person who entered was wrapped completely in a black cloak.
"I hope you don't mind the interruption," the figure said.
"If I said I did, would you leave?" Duran replied irritably.
"Then thank you."
The cloaked man brushed past Duran and entered the house.
Teresa was already sitting calmly.
"Galou, what do you want?"
"Do you have to be so cold to your agent?" the cloaked man complained."While you're living comfortably and eating well, I've been sleeping in the wild."
"If you have something to say, say it," Duran said, closing the door."Stop talking in circles. It's tiring."
Then he added:
"Have you eaten? If not, help yourself. Otherwise you'll accuse me of discrimination."
"Then I won't refuse."
The cloaked man revealed an unpleasant smile.
The three finished their meal in an awkward atmosphere.
Finally the agent spoke.
"Teresa, you have a new mission."
"It's a subjugation mission, just the kind you like."
"The location is Sissi Town, east of here."
"I understand," Teresa replied calmly."I'll arrive in three days."
"Good. Then I'll take my leave. Thank you for the meal."
After the agent left, Teresa looked at Duran.
"Why are you staring at me?" Duran asked, touching his face.
"Duran, stay here and wait for me."
"If I don't return within ten days…"
She produced a small bag from somewhere.
"If I don't come back, give this to Galou."
Duran accepted the bag.
He could already guess what was inside.
"I didn't know you had secret savings."
"Don't ask about it," Teresa said.
"Just wait here."
"Understood," Duran replied."Come back soon."
The next day, Teresa once again left behind her elegant silhouette as she departed.
The moment Teresa left—
Duran packed up and followed her.
"This feeling… it's addictive," he muttered.
Sissi Town was completely deserted.
After entering the town, Teresa sensed three Yoki signatures in the central plaza.
No.12 Alice
No.32 Gina
No.37 Basari
"I'm No.1 Teresa."
After introducing herself, she immediately received three admiring looks.
Although Claymore warriors possessed immense combat power and were half-human half-Yoma, at heart they were still ordinary young women.
Lower-ranked warriors admired high-ranked warriors almost like idols.
Their admiration wasn't purely about strength.
Their mission target was a high-level Awakened Being.
That was why Teresa had been assigned to assist.
High above the battlefield, Duran floated in the sky watching.
The battle between the four warriors and the monster shook the entire town.
Buildings collapsed under the shockwaves.
Yet Duran simply clicked his tongue.
Compared to the Dragon Ball world, this place felt extremely weak.
Teresa didn't join the battle immediately.
Instead, she allowed the three lower-ranked warriors to fight first.
The Awakened Being resembled a giant crab-like monster, six to seven meters tall.
Each massive claw was as large as a person.
The wind from its swings sent sand and debris flying.
Duran switched lenses on his camera and started photographing the battle.
"Scenes like this are rare."
Among the three warriors, only No.12 Alice could barely block its attacks.
No.32 and No.37 were quickly knocked out of combat.
Teresa sighed.
She drew her sword.
"Game over."
She stepped into the battlefield.
With her mastery of Yoki sensing, defeating the Awakened Being took only moments.
The crab-like monster died with a final scream.
"So strong!"
"As expected of No.1!"
"The Smiling Teresa truly deserves the title of strongest!"
Standing among the monster's shattered remains, Teresa maintained her calm smile.
"Thank you for the compliment."
"Teresa, smile! Say cheese!"
The voice came from above.
Before the warriors could find its source—
Duran descended from the sky.
Click! Click! Click!
He snapped several photos in quick succession.
Teresa's smile, framed by purple blood, broken flesh, and dark shells, looked strangely beautiful.
She even cooperated, posing stylishly for the camera.
This clearly wasn't the first time.
After Duran put away his camera, Teresa's smile disappeared.
"Didn't I tell you to wait for me?"
Like many Claymores, Teresa struggled to express her emotions clearly.
"Relax," Duran said lightly.
"Forget Awakened Beings—even an Abyssal One wouldn't scare me."
Teresa didn't believe him.
"If you don't listen, stop following me."
"You don't believe me?" Duran said.
"Then I guess I'll have to show you my strength."
The new moon had just appeared.
Duran looked up at the moon.
In the Dragon Ball world, the moon had once been destroyed by Master Roshi.
He wondered if he should destroy this world's moon too.
But that might cause massive climate disasters.
So he chose another method.
"Watch carefully," Duran said with a bright smile.
"KAME… HAME… HAAAA!"
A blazing beam shot upward—
Straight toward the moon.
The scorching energy shocked the four Claymores.
Such immense power had been condensed into a single beam.
Under Duran's power level of over one hundred million, the Kamehameha reached the moon within a minute.
But Duran didn't intend to destroy it.
Instead, he carefully carved words onto the moon's surface.
The message read:
"Teresa – Goddess of the Smile."
A miracle.
Across the entire continent, people looked up at the moon.
Seeing the glowing words written across its surface—
What else could it be but a divine miracle?
Even Teresa was stunned, her mouth slightly open.
Such power was beyond anything she had imagined.
"Duran… who exactly are you?"
Duran took out his camera and pointed it toward the moon.
Click.
Click.
"I'm just a martial artist."
He smiled.
"Sorry if the handwriting looks messy."
He had only recently learned the writing system of this world.
Teresa no longer knew how to react to him.
Finally she asked:
"What technique was that?"
"I follow the Turtle School."
"That technique is our ultimate move: Kamehameha."
"Turtle School? Kamehameha?"
"I've never heard of them," Teresa said.
"That's normal," Duran replied.
"Your organization is like a frog in a well."
"The world is far bigger than you imagine."
"You don't seriously think the world only consists of the 47 districts your organization manages, do you?"
Teresa fell silent.
She knew the world was bigger than that—
But Duran's strength was beyond comprehension.
Duran kicked the corpse of the Awakened Being.
"So this is an Awakened Being?"
"It's different from the Yoma I saw before."
Of course, he already knew the truth:
Awakened Beings were former Claymores who lost control.
But Claymores rarely liked talking about that fate.
Once someone became a Claymore, their life usually ended in tragedy:
dying in battle
receiving a Black Card (execution request)
or awakening into a monster.
"Well," Duran said cheerfully,
"How about dinner?"
He tossed another Capsule.
Poof!
This time a two-story villa appeared.
The three Claymores were stunned once again.
Later that night, under the bright moonlight, Duran happily admired his work.
The glowing message on the moon was even more visible after dark.
Of course, the result wasn't too dramatic.
Aside from a few more people becoming religious…
Life on the continent continued as usual.
