The mist inside the Abyss chamber twisted violently.
Something enormous moved within it.
A massive silhouette pushed through the fog.
Then the creature stepped forward.
The ground cracked under its weight.
It towered nearly four meters tall. Thick muscles bulged beneath skin that looked like layered stone. Dark veins pulsed across its body like molten cracks.
Its claws dragged across the concrete floor.
SCREEECH.
Sparks burst where they scraped.
Behind it, the Abyss gate churned.
Black mist poured endlessly from the circular opening.
William's eyes narrowed.
"…That's not medium rank."
The creature lifted its head—
then roared.
The sound shook the entire chamber.
"Back!" William ordered.
But the monster was already moving.
It lunged forward.
William stepped directly into its path.

His fist collided with the monster's chest.
The impact exploded outward in a shockwave.
Concrete shattered.
Min Ji and Jin slid several meters across the floor.
The monster staggered—
but it didn't fall.
Instead—
its massive arm swung.
CRASH.
William blocked with his forearm.
The impact rang like metal striking steel.
He slid backward across the cracked ground.
"…Tough," he muttered.
The creature growled.
Then Min Ji moved.
She dashed forward with sudden speed.
Jin's dagger flashed in her hand.
CLANG.
The blade struck the monster's side.
Sparks flew.
"Wow," she said.
"That skin is cheating."
At the same moment—
she threw the dagger to Jin.
Jin caught it beside the creature.
A thin line opened—
black blood spilled.
The monster roared violently.
Then something shifted behind it.
More shapes moved inside the Abyss gate.
The creature glanced back.
The mist behind it churned violently.
New monsters were thrown out of the Abyss.
It turned again—
and ran.
Straight toward the elevator shaft.
William blinked.
"…What?"
The creature slammed into the metal elevator doors.
CRUNCH.
It was too fast. None of them were capable of catching it.
Steel folded like paper.
With a violent leap—
the monster vanished up the shaft.
William cursed.
"Damn it!"
