Rain fell softly over Hell's Kitchen.
Streetlights reflected across the wet pavement while distant traffic hummed through the night.
Fredy walked calmly along the rooftop of an old apartment building.
Behind him stood Shade and the newly created Elite Shadow.
Knight.
The two shadow soldiers moved silently like loyal guards.
Fredy looked down at the street below.
Three black vans had just arrived outside an abandoned building.
Men stepped out.
Armed.
Organized.
Fredy already knew who they worked for.
Wilson Fisk.
Kingpin's criminal network ran deep through New York.
But last night's assassination attempt had made something very clear.
Kingpin had chosen to make Fredy an enemy.
Fredy whispered calmly.
"Then let's weaken his empire first."
He stepped off the rooftop.
Shadow Dash.
His body vanished and reappeared in the alley below.
The criminals hadn't even noticed him yet.
Fredy raised his hand slightly.
"Shade."
The shadow soldier moved instantly.
In the next second—
CRASH!
The warehouse door exploded inward.
The criminals inside panicked.
"Who's there?!"
Fredy walked in calmly.
"You guys really should lock your doors."
One thug immediately aimed his gun.
"GET HIM!"
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
Gunfire filled the room.
Fredy disappeared.
Shadow Dash activated repeatedly.
To the criminals, it looked like he was teleporting.
He appeared behind the first gunman.
BAM!
The man collapsed instantly.
Another rushed him with a knife.
Fredy caught his wrist.
CRACK.
The knife fell to the floor.
Meanwhile, Knight moved like a dark executioner.
The Elite Shadow grabbed one thug and slammed him into a wall.
THUD!
Within seconds, the entire group was defeated.
Fredy stood quietly in the center of the warehouse.
The shadows around him slowly shifted.
He raised his hand.
"Arise."
Dark energy spread across the ground.
Two new shadow soldiers rose from the fallen criminals.
The system notification appeared.
Shadow Soldiers Added
Current Army: 8 / 15
Fredy nodded slightly.
"Good."
But suddenly—
A voice echoed from the darkness above.
"You're not making this city any safer."
Fredy looked up.
A figure stood on a metal beam above the warehouse.
Red armor.
Horns on the mask.
The protector of Hell's Kitchen.
Daredevil.
Daredevil dropped down silently.
His batons spun in his hands.
Fredy studied him calmly.
"So the devil finally shows up."
Daredevil's voice was serious.
"You attacked three Fisk operations tonight."
Fredy shrugged.
"They attacked me first."
Daredevil walked closer slowly.
"That doesn't give you the right to start a war."
Fredy smirked slightly.
"Tell that to Kingpin."
Daredevil's senses analyzed everything around him.
Heartbeats.
Breathing.
Movement.
The strange shadow creatures behind Fredy.
He could tell something important.
Fredy wasn't lying.
But that didn't make the situation better.
Daredevil spoke carefully.
"Violence like this only makes Fisk stronger."
Fredy crossed his arms.
"Then stop him."
Daredevil answered immediately.
"I'm trying."
Fredy chuckled softly.
"Doesn't seem to be working."
Daredevil's grip tightened on his batons.
"You don't understand what you're dealing with."
Fredy's shadow slowly stretched across the floor.
"Actually…"
He looked directly at Daredevil.
"I think I do."
For a moment, the warehouse became completely silent.
Two fighters.
Both determined to control the same city.
Daredevil spoke again.
"Leave Hell's Kitchen."
Fredy smiled.
"No."
Then his shadow soldiers stepped forward.
The temperature in the room dropped.
Daredevil raised his batons.
"Well…"
He sighed.
"I was hoping we could talk this out."
Fredy's eyes gleamed slightly.
"So was I."
Then both of them moved.
At the exact same moment.
The battle between the Shadow Monarch's heir and the Devil of Hell's Kitchen had begun.
