Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Infinity

Rhino's massive armored fist remained frozen in the air.

Just a few centimeters away from Fredy's face.

The brute pushed harder.

The servos inside the armor screamed as the hydraulic system tried to force the punch forward.

But the distance never closed.

It was like an invisible wall separated them.

Fredy calmly looked at the fist.

Then he lightly tapped the armor.

CLANG.

Rhino stumbled backward.

Inside the suit, the brute was furious.

"What did you do?!"

Fredy didn't answer immediately.

He was focused on the strange sensation surrounding his body.

A thin layer of space itself seemed to exist between him and everything else.

The ability came from the template of Gojo Satoru.

Infinity.

Anything approaching him would slow infinitely before touching him.

Spider-Man stared in disbelief.

"…Did Rhino just punch an invisible force field?"

Fredy tilted his head.

"Something like that."

Spider-Man blinked.

"Okay cool, so now you have teleporting shadows AND invisible space magic."

He sighed dramatically.

"I suddenly feel very underpowered."

Meanwhile, Daredevil stood silently nearby.

His enhanced senses analyzed Fredy carefully.

Something had changed.

The air around Fredy felt… distorted.

Even the echoes of sound behaved differently near him.

Daredevil tightened his grip on his batons.

"What exactly are you?"

Fredy shrugged.

"Still figuring that out myself."

But Rhino had already recovered.

The armored brute roared again.

"ENOUGH!"

He activated every weapon system in the suit.

Missiles launched.

Machine guns fired.

Explosions shook the warehouse.

Spider-Man instantly swung to the ceiling.

"Okay! That's definitely illegal!"

The missiles raced toward Fredy.

But as they approached him—

They slowed.

Then slowed again.

Then stopped.

Floating harmlessly in the air.

Spider-Man's jaw practically dropped.

"…What."

Fredy flicked his fingers.

The missiles gently fell to the floor.

Boom.

Boom.

Boom.

Small harmless explosions followed.

Rhino stared in shock.

"That's impossible!"

Fredy looked at him calmly.

"You should probably upgrade your armor again."

Rhino roared and charged forward.

But this time—

Fredy didn't dodge.

He simply stepped forward.

His fist struck Rhino's chest armor.

CRACK.

The already damaged suit finally broke.

The massive armored villain collapsed to his knees.

Fredy grabbed the front of the armor and slammed Rhino into the ground.

BOOM.

Silence filled the warehouse.

Spider-Man landed nearby and stared.

"…Okay."

"Remind me not to annoy you."

Daredevil lowered his batons.

The fight was clearly over.

The mercenaries were defeated.

Rhino was unconscious.

Fredy's shadow soldiers stood silently around the battlefield.

Then the system appeared again.

Fredy exhaled slowly.

His power had grown significantly in just a few days.

But something else appeared next.

New Mission Unlocked

Fredy's eyes narrowed.

So the system wanted him to confront Kingpin directly.

Spider-Man stretched his arms.

"Well…"

He looked around the destroyed warehouse.

"That was fun."

Then he turned to Fredy.

"You planning to keep attacking Fisk?"

Fredy looked toward the distant skyline of Manhattan.

The towering buildings.

The center of Kingpin's empire.

"Yes."

Daredevil stepped closer.

"If you're going after Fisk…"

His voice was serious.

"…you'll need help."

Spider-Man raised his hand immediately.

"Okay I'm in."

Fredy looked at both of them.

For a moment, the three stood silently in the destroyed warehouse.

Then Fredy spoke.

"Alright."

His shadow soldiers melted into darkness behind him.

"Let's bring down the Kingpin."

Far away…

Inside a luxurious penthouse office…

Wilson Fisk watched the news report about the warehouse battle.

His expression was colder than ever.

He slowly crushed the glass in his hand.

"So…"

His voice was calm but dangerous.

"…the boy wants a war."

Fisk looked toward the dark city outside his window.

"Then I'll give him one."
