Everyone shouted in unison, and the Spies, holding ice spears, moved to the front row, pulling the triggers on Arrogance. Ice-blue freezing mist sprayed from the muzzles of the ice spears, surging towards Arrogance in a mighty torrent.
Facing the invasion of the ice mist, Arrogance advanced instead of retreating. The roar of an engine rumbled within him, overloading his core engine and instantly raising his temperature. Arrogance opened his gaping maw.
A speck of white frost emerged in the air, followed by an even more violent and colder freezing mist that suppressed the Spies' ice mist, rapidly surging towards them.

However, after Pride saw Duke, the red light in his eyes quickly receded like a tide, replaced by a deep blue shimmer like the deep sea.

Pride rushed to Duke's front impatiently, like a child seeking praise.
Duke raised his hand, and Pride voluntarily lowered his head, making it easy for Duke to caress him.
"Good boy, you are truly my good boy, well done!"
Nerdley looked at Pride, who was as docile as a cat, then at the bodies strewn everywhere, and suddenly felt that this young man was terrifying to the extreme.

While Nerdley was in a daze, Pride transformed into a motorcycle. Duke, sitting on the motorcycle, turned to look at Nerdley and said, "Oh, right, my Pride doesn't like anyone touching him except me, so you'll have to work a bit harder!"
"Huh?"
Nerdley tilted his head. Duke casually threw out a clockwork-powered bicycle from his inventory. "You use this. I'll control the speed appropriately!"
A few minutes later, Nerdley, pedaling his bicycle, looked at Pride, who was moving at a steady pace ahead, then at himself, feeling like crying without tears.
He also wanted to ride such a cool motorcycle!
