Jay was still fuming.
Her hands were trembling.
Honey had left, rubbing her shoulder and glaring.
Keifer was standing there, smirking.
Jay crossed her arms, glaring daggers at him.
"You think this is funny?!" she shouted.
Keifer chuckled softly.
"I do."
Jay blinked, confused.
"You… you find me punching someone funny?!"
Keifer smirked wider.
"You're jealous."
Jay's face flared red.
"I am not jealous!"
Keifer raised an eyebrow.
"Oh really? You literally punched Honey because she hugged me."
Jay's jaw dropped.
"I… I… she was clinging to you!"
Keifer laughed lightly.
"And that made you so angry you couldn't even think straight?"
Jay growled.
"Yes! I… I don't care if it's funny! She can't do that!"
Keifer slowly walked toward her.
He leaned casually against the couch.
"Do you know what's even funnier?"
Jay glared.
"What?"
Keifer smirked and poked her shoulder.
"You look so cute when you're jealous."
Jay's eyes widened.
"WHAT?!"
He laughed softly.
"I mean… the way your face turned red…"
"You're impossible!" Jay shouted, swatting his hand away.
Keifer ducked and grinned.
"Maybe. But I love seeing this side of you."
Jay stomped her foot.
"I'm not cute! I'm angry!"
Keifer shook his head, still smirking.
"Nope. Angry, jealous… adorable. All at the same time."
Jay groaned and buried her face in her hands.
"I'm never talking to you again!"
Keifer crouched slightly to her level, teasing.
"Sure you are. You can't resist me."
Jay peeked at him through her fingers.
"You… you're infuriating."
Keifer laughed softly.
"And you love it."
Jay's cheeks burned even more.
"Shut up!"
Keifer leaned back, pretending to be innocent.
"I'm just observing."
Jay finally looked up at him, glaring.
"You're evil."
Keifer smirked and held out his hand.
"Come on… admit it."
Jay shook her head furiously.
"No. I don't—"
Keifer leaned closer, whispering softly.
"You're jealous."
Jay froze.
"…Maybe a little."
Keifer's smirk turned into a victorious smile.
"I knew it."
Jay groaned loudly.
"You're impossible."
Keifer laughed, pulling her gently into a side hug.
"And you love me anyway."
Jay blinked, trying to hide the smile creeping onto her face.
"…Shut up."
But deep down, she knew he was right. 💙
