The Beginning
"Hm..."
In a vast river, a highschool boy is currently watching some fishes swimming freely on the water. They follow the flow of the stream that seems to be pointing towards the bridge on his left.
His name is [Zero Suimin].
"Hm...."
His posture, it was comical.
"You!..."
He received a smack from the back of his head as he falls down comically just like his pose prior. The culprit is a highschool girl who has the same age as him. She's wearing a highschool uniform while carrying her backpack.
She has an irritated expression as she confronted the boy ij front of her.
"Why are you in that stupid pose again! Didn't I tell you to change that habit of yours for so many years?!"
The highschool girl who's nagging him is [Shira Asumi]. His childhood friend.
The two of them, ever since birth, are always together no matter the circumstances. It's like the destiny didn't want them to be separated on any situation they were put into.
Ah, maybe it was.
"Ouch... Ouch... Ouch..."
Zero scratches his head as he pouted at the angry girl behind him.
"What's your deal?... I was imagining something and you ruined it..."
"Hmph! That's what you get for using that stupid pose of yours."
He saw her turn her head away as she pouted. When she open her eyes to say something to her childhood friend, she saw something moving under the bridge.
"Hey zero..."
"What?"
Annoyed by the smack he just got, he slowly look at shira, then look at where she was looking.
"Thats..."
Monster.
That's the only thing they could describe what they saw under yhat bridge. They were absolute about it.
"That's not... A monster right zero?... Zero?"
As she look beside her, she saw him also having a serious but confuse expression plastered on his face. The same expression she had just now.
"It looks like one..."
The being in front of them, the monster, have an ugly octopus face with a body of shark, dolphin, whale, and a fish. It was absolutely like a failed experiment from some dark fiction that many artist/author drew.
It was horrible to look at, some people might even puke if they look at it.
Then, the 'monster' they were looking, moved. Yes, it moved just now. Where to? Towards them of course.
"Shit..."
Shira might have not noticed, but with zero's unnatural eyes saw its body open in a miliseconds and fire something at shira, his childhood friend.
"Watchout!!"
He quickly grabbed shira and moved her out of the way, dodging whatever the monster throw at her just now.
Of course, zero quickly flipped over as he absorbed the impact of the fall and protected shira on his arms at the same time.
"Damn it... What was that?..."
Feeling a confuse and annoyed, he turn his head back to the monster.
The monster itself, looked surprised. He didn't know how but it looked surprised for a moment.
"Ho? You actually saw that?"
"?!"
His body shivered. The monster,
"I-it talked?..."
Shira continue his thoughts as she shiver unconditionally in his arms. You see, shira has this uncontrollable trauma from her childhood.
When they were kids, shira and zero were casually playing in their grandparents town when one day, shira encountered a scary looking being. That's right, it was not a person nor anything that looked similar.
It has the same features as the monster in front of them right now. Zero, knowing this, tightly held her in his arms as he slowly stand up, never leaving her on his arms.
"You..."
He stared at the monster, who smirked.
"It seems humans here have me suprise. Well done, you cna be proud. For that, I will end you painlessly!"
As if on cue, two huge tentacles sprouted from the ground and instantly rushed to where shira and zero were.
With his unnatural eyes, he saw the two tentacles and nimbly dodge them. Left, right, up, down. The two tentacles were everywhere.
"Hu? For a human, you dodge good."
He smirked, zero saw it too as well and immediately feel something bad.
"What about making it more faster?"
And that it did. The two tentacles immediately accelerated onwards as zero barely dodge its first wave.
But, without any proper training or enough power to back it up, your body couldn't keep up with what it could see.
One of the tentacle actually manage to hit him in the back and flew towards the river. He didn't let shira go as he think she would be in much more dangerous situation if he let her go. Plus, she couldn't even manage herself as her past trauma eats up her consciousness and decision making.
"Ahhuff... Huff... Huff..."
Having just resurface while carrying the still scared shira on his arms, he saw five tentacles swarming him all around.
"What the heck?!... Aren't there just two tentacles?!... When did it—"
Before he could complain about the unfairness, the five tentacles gobble him up. Is what it looks like, but it seems like a person saved him just now.
"Huh?..."
Covering shira with his body, eyes closed and ready to accept his death, he noticed he wasn't in pain nor dying.
He slowly open his eyes and saw something he didn't expect to see.
"A... Ranger?..."
Yes, in this world, sentai/power rangers are real. From what he knows that is.
The on in front of him, it was a white sentai/power ranger.
The design of her ranger suit is different from what he already seen though. Her helmet has a brain like design that didn't look disgusting and even looked cool. The body part, a pencil and pen crossed each other with a road slicing them in half. A symbol of seperating them with a path that leads to either two.
She has a skirt, since she is a woman. It was all white.
"Hm~? You know me kid~?"
The way the person in front of him talk, it was strange. It has some 'seductive' feelings to it if he put it.
Well, that is because he was looking at their back. Naturally, he couldn't identify what's their saviours' gender. And he didn't want to offend them by outright deciding it when he didn't saw their gender.
"My my~ You sure are thoughtful~ Boy~"
Shivers. That's what he felt for the second time. Now he was certain. The way they spoke, the way their language if similar to something his friends always watched alone, he for sure know now.
They are, female. The one who saved him is a woman.
"My~ You even considered my gender~ How very considerate~"
"Mr. Leader~"
"Stop reading my thoughts!!"
He accidentally shouted as he immediately shut his mouth, still cradling shira on his arms, who were now unconscious.
Realizing it, he quickly checked her. To see if she's alright. And when he saw she's okay, he sighed in relief.
It seems like his protection earlier proven to be effective as she was safe and free from any harm.
"How beautiful~ Having such a childhood friend~ That young girl sure is lucky~"
"Enough already!!"
Forgetting his manners, he pointed at the female who has a familiar armor he knows well, and at the monster in front of them.
"I don't know what's happening here but don't ruin my imagination!!! Stupid looking squid and overly friendly woman!!"
"..."
Silence. It was silence for five seconds before the woman who has a ranger suit, laughed. She actually laugh. A genuine laugh, that she, herself, didn't know she was capable of doing.
The monster on the other hand had a irked mark on its head. Annoyed being interrupted by this rude human who wore something weird and new, and at the boy's mocking remarks.
"How dare you call me stupid human!!! You'll pay for that!! No one mocks me, the number one fish in this entire universe!!!"
As if on cue, bubbles floated innocently around him. It floated until it safely position itself above shira and zero's head before falling down.
Not taking it seriously, zero ignored them but was gently grabbed by the mature woman. Since shira is still locked on his arms and wouldn't let go, she was also swooped alongside him.
After all, he didn't trust neither of them to not harm or hurt her. So, he still carries her around his arm protectively.
"Hold on~ boy~"
She seductively whispered as she flew to a safer place for both of them.
"Arghh!!! That human!! So annoying!! So annoying!!!"
The water beside the monster stir. Those innocent fishes earlier? They were slowly changing into that of a monster.
Huge fins, huge jaw, sharp and long teeth, typical fish monster from any fantasy as it immediately head towards the three.
"Damn it... What's going on miss?... We're just casually strolling here and I was in the middle of imaginating something when that monster looking thing interrupted!!"
The mature woman, who saved them, didn't answer him. Rather, she gave even more questions left to be answered by her.
"200 years ago, [Invaders] came. They plundered and destroyed earth. Not until one person step up to defend it. She call herself, [Idealiger]. She defended this earth for 200 years now, and of course, its naturally me~!"
She was serious at the beginning before returning back to that mature seductive woman he first interacted.
"200 years? Invaders? Idealigers? What kind of ranger story are you saying?"
She smiled. Though he can't saw it, he can feel it. She was smiling.
"A new one, of course~"
As they were chatting, the monster they left behind were now following them. It was riding one of the fish monster it turned as it accelerated towards them.
"Shit!... What kind of thing is that?..."
"Its an [Invader], leader~"
"Can you stop calling me that?! Why are you calling me that in the first place?!"
"Nothing particular~ its just, you will be only leading the future group I created~ They will call you, [The Red Emperor]~ Isn't that cool~?"
"The... Red emperor?..."
Honestly, he felt that tirle wasn't bad. If he wasn't in this situation that is!
"Human! Get back here! I will kill you!!"
"The heck?... Its speaking fluently earlier, now it talked like what it actually looked like."
He observed, earlier he noticed the monster's speech patterns were on par with him, a human. Now, it seems like its just a mindless angry monster chasing them.
"That is because invaders can't use their intelligence when their emotion goes out of control~ Naturally, the way it speak will also changed along with its decision making~"
To prove she was right, she duck below and quickly took cover on some pillars and hide between them. But the monster destroyed them, making it useless.
"I guess I can't shake it off~"
As if taking the fight seriously now, she flew to an open space and gently landed. She freed the two childhood friends as she step in front of them. Waiting for the monster to show up.
Zero rolled over while holding shira in a tight embrace before easing up. Seeing the woman let them go, he quickly checked his surroundings.
"Park..."
On of his favourite places to go too and let his his imagination run wild. It was one of the places he appreciates and honor by cleaning them or helping those in need.
Of course, since they were in that same park, he naturally felt devastated. The park was about to destroy after all.
"Boy~"
"Huh?"
Looking at the woman, she threw some kind of weird device and explained.
"Attached it to you wrist and it will do the rest~"
"Huh?"
He looked down, clutching a device he was unfamiliar yet familiar at the same time. He seen it many times.
"No way..."
He clutched it tighter.
The watch, it has a pen like device with a leather strap to hold it secure to the user's wrisk. Two rotating disk were present and four different icons that represent something embedded on the surface of the device.
"Use this to transform into a [Idealigers]~"
"But I didn't even know how to fight! How am I supposed to use this—"
She gently put her point finger on his lips as she smiled. It was warm, conforting. As if saying to trust her just this once and see what happens.
"The device will cover the rest~ Just do what you you generally know~ Transform into one you see in those videos~"
"..."
Silently staring at the device, he nodded.
The monster, on time, roughly landed in front of them.
"Where! Is! That! Human!!!!"
"My~ with that temper, you wouldn't be able to attract female invaders you know~?"
As if mocking the monster, the mature woman beside zero took its attention in order for him to have an opportunity to decide.
Whether to stay and be ignorant.
Or
To accept what's in front of him.
"Of course I would, say less!!!"
He smirked as he put the watch on top of his wrisk.
[Identify, new host.]

[...]
[Identification complete.]
The leather strap binds itself on his wrisk as the device settle in an instant.
The icon at the top glowed, signaling what he needed to press and didn't hesitate anymore.
He couldn't really do anything about this anymore. After all, he just gain knowledge that earth is being invaded by some kind of monster organization.
He couldn't let that happen.
He didn't watch some movies yet!
And he didn't even confess his love for shira!
"So in no way hell I'll let the world be destroyed!!"
He shouted as he pressed the icon.
[Accepting...]
"Ready!"
[Idealizaaaaaa-TION!!!]
A weird voice can be heard as he raised his hand and spin the front of the rotating disk.
Then, a hologram appeared in front of him. An armor. The helmet have almost the same design as the mature lady, the difference is that it has a pencil and pen crossed on the back of it.
The armor now have a tilted road that goes from his right shoulder to his left hip. Pencil and pen were at the background.
His pants, instead of skirt, have a case on the right side of his hip. While a sword and a gun that looked like you took it out from your imagination, were strapped tightly on his left hip.
"Awesome..."
He was speechless. The hologram in front of him looked like the mature lady but different at the same time.
The hologram seem to be stuck as it didn't move so he had no other choice but to step forward. As he did, the hologram finally moved. It immediately hugged his body as the features immediately started to become real.
"Woah!... This feeling..."
His admiration can be heard after a blinding white enveloped him. He came out of the light, utterly in disbelief on what he is now wearing.
You must understand, ever since he saw those rangers from tv, he immediately got hooked up and wish to be one of them. Now? It seems like that dream came through.
Though not in a pleasant way as he almost died if it weren't for that mature lady. Speaking of her, he quick realised they were still things to deal with and immediately look for her and the monster.
Since the fight were so intense that the two left his sight long ago.

At the other side of the park, the mature lady dodge every bubbles that fall on her. Nimble and quick on her feet, she proved it to be easy.
Seeing this, the monster scratched its head in irritation and ordered the fish monster sround him to distract her.
"Go! What sr eyou useless lot doing here?! Go and distract her!!"
Seeing their master mad, they quickly followed its order and rushed towards the mature lady. But it was useless. While they were lounging on her, they were immediately got sliced into dizen pieces as she passes through them.
"My~ I know I should treat life delicately, there's some exceptions on beings like you~"
Despite her seductive tone, there was a hint of malice and cold in them. She hated the existence of invaders the most, so its valid for such hatred.
"Hey lady! I finally saw you!!"
Zero, who were just transformed, jump down clumsily. Still being used on his new found transformation, he accidentally trip after landing. Hence why his head were at the ground.
"Pfft!—"
"I heard that!"
The mature lady quickly cover her mouth as zero pulled his head from the ground before standing up.
He step close to her as he explained what he's currently feeling.
"The suit is amazing and all but why red? Isn't that usually the leader of the group?"
She smiled.
"Thay is because, you are the perfect candidate for that~ Leader~ Please take care of me from now on and lead us to victory~"
"Huh?!!!"
So that's why she always called him 'leader'. It was because he eas destined to be the leader in the first place.
"But I didn't even know how to fight! Nor have enough experience to lead any team at all!"
"Arghhh!!!!! How dare you humans ignore me!!!!"
Throwing a fit, the monster sprouted tne tentacles that immediately surrounding the two. But the way they carried themselves, it was as if she didn't need to dodge it made the monster confuse.
"[Ideal Blaster]!!"
[Shoot—ON!]
A strange voice were once again heard by zero as he pulled out his blaster.
"[Ideal: Frenzy]!!!"
As if knowing what to do despite not having any experience on this program, quickly step in front of the mature lady and aim at an empty air.
The monster naturally mocked, thinking zero waere just wasting his time. After all, the monster got them corned and were helpless by his tentacles
Yet what he didn't know was zero gained knowledge about something he didn't know.
He aim his blaster at every direction and fired. One tentacle and another, until the last tenth tentacle dropped on the ground.
He managed to stop every single tentacles he throw at them.
The lady, clutching her chest, smiled underneath her helmet. She was right, it was the best decision to let him take over the first and best Idealigers.

"Woahhhh!!!! Awesome!!!! At first I didn't know what to do then I heard some voice and yelled it! Then next thing I knew!!! I—"
"Let's stop and focus~ Mr. Leader~"
The lady sighed in exasperation. She night have picked the right person, yet it might take a while for her to get used to his energetic moments like this.
"Right!"
He aimed his blaster at the monster in front if them and said
"Enough destroying this park! I quite"
[Slash—ON!]
He launch himself at the monster as he pulled out the sword. Still aiming, he fired his blaster one by one at the monster.
"Karhhkk!!"
The monster grunted as it receives five bullets on its body before zero vertically slashed him upon arriving in front of him.
"Arrghhh!— Curse you, Idealigers!!!"
Some explosions happened behind the monster as it flew behind him. He noticed this and remember this was the cue for him. He stand up and walk without looking at his back as the monster explodes.
"Cool..."
Shira, having just woken up, saw the last part where zero walk in front of the explosion.
"A... Ranger..."
Then, snapping out of it, she noticed zero was gone.
"Zero? Zero!..."
Worried and scared he was gone in her life, she panic and scattered around. As if sensing this, a hand patted her hand. No, its not just a hand. It was a red hand in a suit.
Seeing this, she slowly turn her body and saw zero, still in his ranger suit, patting her head.
"W-who—"
"Its me. Zero. Your one and only childhood friend."
On cue, his helmet vanished. Revealing his handsome face to shira. Well, for shira, it was handsome of course.
"Zero..."
She immediately hugged zero in a tight embrace as she slowly started to cried.
"I-I thought... I thought I lost you!... I thought I wouldn't see you ever again!... I—"
He lift her chin up, tears fall on her beautiful face as he gently smiled. His hand, still on his ranger suit, wiped her tears carefully.
"Its okay now. I'm here, and I'm fine. No one will take me or you away. I promise you that."
"Mhm!..."
She sniff as she nodded her head. Indicating she trusts every word he sprouted. The lady saw this and looked quite jealous but please at the same time.
"I'm glad you both are glad~"
She squeezed herself on their conversation as she appeared behind them. The two look at the lady, the white ranger, made shira awe.
"I-its a white ranger!... That means you're the special ranger right?!"
Her sad demeanour was gone, replaced by a excited highschool girl wo admire sentai/power rangers.
"Well~ You should be admiring your childhood friend~ After all, he got the red one~ The leader of the group~"
"Ah!"
She hastily turn around and saw the lady was right. Her childhood friend, zero suimin, is actually the red ranger. The leader, the one who order and keep the group together.
"Cool!!"
"Hey miss... Uh... Lady"
Zero, trying to call the mature lady, stuttered. He didn't know her name nor what to call her.
"My~ Its [Lithra Kurusaki]~"
"Right... Misss lirtha I—"
"Ahhhh!!!!!"
Zero flinches at shira's sudden shout.
He pulled out his [Idealist Blaster].
[Shoot—ON!]
And aimed while looking around for threat.
"Trouble?"
"I can't believe its you!!!"
"Huh?..."
Seeing shira immediately shaking hands with the lady, misunderstood the situation. She was not shouting out of fear, she was shouting because she was a fan.
"You're THE lithra kurusaki?! The one who won seven grammy awards, two oscars, champion of the women badminton and the owner of the multi trillionaire company called [Ideal Technology]?!"
"My~ I didn't know I have a fan~"
She giggles, hearing shira listed her achievements throughout her career made her delight.
"Seriously?"
"Of course! I wouldn't be mistaken! No one in the world have the same name after her so its gotta be her!!"
"No... That's not what I meant... I was asking who is she?"
"Huh?!!"
She grabbed his collr and started to thrash him around, which he let him.
"You idiot! You don't know the number one actress?! You know, the richest person in the whole world?!"
"Uh... No?... Also, isn't that bill gates or elon musk?"
"Dumbass! She's even nore richer than those two combine!!"
"Uh... Alright..."
Scratching his head, still on his ranger suit, muttered while nodding. He didn't know her nor any of her achievements. What he knows is she's the one who gave him his morpher.
"Thanks... I guess?"
Being let go by shira, he face lithra, the mature lady in a white ranger suit, and thanked her.
After all, she saved both of them and gave his morpher.
"My~ You don't have to worry~ Now, why not let me invite you cuties to my office~?"
"Sure miss lithra!"
Shira immediately got excited as she hope beside her. She looked back and stared at zero with pure malice.
She's signalling him to behave and don't do anything stupid. Catching this, he scratch his left cheek and sighed.
But as they about to leave, the monster earlier, suddenly grew big. Alerting the three of them. I mean, with such HUGE transformation, it wouldn't be fair to not notice it.
"Damn it!... Of course it needs to be big..."
He muttered as lithra also got serious. Throughout her career defending this earth, she never ever saw one of them going big like this.
"Rahahahahaha!!! That bastard's black pill actually worked!!"
The monster, with an unrecognisable voice, laughed and muttered. Before it actually die, it swallowed a small sphere, just barely fit on its hand and have this ominous and dangerous presence.
And it seems this is the result of that small sphere.
"My~"
Her tone changed. Zero noticed this and take note. It was similar to when he ate one of shira's favourite snacks on her fridge the other day.
"Mr. Leader~ Why not you take care of this~? After all, you know something that I don't right~?"
He gulped. She's actually looking scary right now. Left with no other choice, he nodded. He need to stop this monster before it cause massive destruction that could kill thousands of people.
"Don't worry about consequences~ I already evacuated people~"
"Nice!... But... How can I use a megazord? Plus, didn't I need a team for it to be combined into one? Where's the rest miss lithra?"
Sensing her mood, zero naturally spoke in a respectful tone as he asked these questions.
"Unfortunately, you and I are the only one who can use the morphers~"
"What?"
"I'll explain later~ Focus on dealing with that monster while I support you from the ground~"
Zero watched miss lithra flew towards the monster who got gigantic.
"Shit... I don't know which button that called the megazords..."
"Maybe this one?"
Shira, having just arrived next to him, pointed at a robot like icon on the surface of his watch.
"Really? I mean, it might be—"
Shira pressed it before zero even finishing his sentence. That same strange voice replied.
[Initiating Robo Idealism]
[Gooooo Mega—Reddd!!!]
A sudden red light shines in front of the two childhood friends that made them put their arms in reflex.
"Too!..."
"Bright!..."
Then, the ground started to shook. Sensing this, he open his eyes and looked behind him. There, he saw a portal appeared. It was big, unnaturally big to the point the monster also sees it. Not only the monster but miss lithra as well.
She smirked under her helmet and called out to the monster to distract it.
"What? Afraid that boy will gain advantage~? Huh~?"
"Rahhh!! Stupid humans! Trample them! Trample them all!!"
The monster shouted as it tried to swat miss lithra away.
"The heck..."
Back to the childhood friends, they saw something that came out of the portal. It was a tank.
Yes, a futuristic looking tank that have the same color coding as his ranger suit which is red.
"So... Cool!!!"
Shira flinched at his sudden amazement as zero started to jump around like a little kid who got his best present.
She stopped, watched him, before giggling. She knows zero the most, and seeing his once dreamt of being a ranger when they were kids become true, she was happy.
"Hell yeah! But... How do I get it?"
As if hearing his question, a small door open at the bottom compartment of the red tank. Indicating the entrance of such a huge tank.
"I guess that's the entrance!"
He run towards it and hop on.

Once he was inside, he was met by a bunch of buttons and weird symbols he didn't know or couldn't read. It was strange, yet amazing at the same time.
"Woah!... So... Mesmerising!..."
Amazed, he forgot what he was here for when miss lithra warned him through his communication on their morpher.
"Mr. Leader~ I need some help here~"
Snapping out of being amazed, he quickly remembered what he was here for and immediately replied.
"On it!"
He sat at the most obvious chair and started to control the megazord. He didn't know why but it seems like he knows how to drive this thing despite only seeing it for the first time today.
"Alright! Let's take that thing out now for good! Onward!!"
He shouted as he stomp on the gas paddle. The huge red tank finally moved. It started slow before it slowly accelerated until it reached its final speed.
"Miss lithra, I'll handle this from now on!"
[Red Energizer: Tanker]
"Full speed ahead!!"
Miss lithra saw zero sped up even more and head where the monster is.
"Take this!!"
[Red Energizer: Sword Mode]
The nuzzle of the tank slowly reformed into that of a sharp sword as zero keep the speed steady. Ready to bump gis megazord on this monster/invader.
Of course, the monster noticed this and sensed the danger it had. Naturally, it tried to stop him by sending bubbles that made the surrounding building melt.
"Rahhhhhhh!!!!!"
"Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!"
The monster and zero shouted their battle cry as both unleashed their strongest attack.
"Eat this!!"
"Die! Stupid human!!"
Both attacks, tentacles and the red tnak collided and created a massive explosion due to the collision it created. Smoke dispersed, blocking everyone's view on who won and who lost.
"Tch..."
The red tank emerges from the smoke. He was fine, but so is the monster as it also emerges from the smoke.
It seems like both of their attacks have the same power behind as both emerges unscratched.
"Think zero... How can I defeat such huge thing..."
As if needing some inspiration, he remember something from earlier.
When the monster were fighting miss lithra, he noticed that one of its tentacles hesitate to move under miss lithra's blasters. No, it hesitate from the fire power of that blast.
This give him an idea on how to defeat this monster in front of him.
"Let's see if this works!!"
[Red Energizer: Blast Mode]
The nuzzle return back to its original form and light started to gather at the end of it.
"Try this instead!!"
[Red Energizer: Absolute Fire Shot]
"Ahhh!!!"
The monster, having just recovered, tried to block it. But it was too late, the monster failed and the energy blast tore through its chest.
It widden its eyes and slowly collapsed to the ground. Dying for the final time as explosions errupted from it.
"Yes!!!"
Zero celebrated as the red tank turn around before the monster exploded. Adding another cool moments just like how sentai/power rangers do.
For the first time in his life, he achieved his first victory.
And it was all thanks to the woman below him, smiling underneath that white helmet.
While shira jumped in celebration, as she was happy for her childhood friend, who finally achieved his long life dream
