The morning sun spilled through the mansion windows, warm and soft.
Lillian stirred against Sebastian, eyes half-closed.
She yawned, stretching her arms over her head.
"You stole the blanket again," she mumbled, pouting.
"I don't see a blanket," he replied, smirking.
"Maybe it just… migrated onto me."
"Liar," she said, giggling.
She rolled slightly, nudging him.
"Give it back."
"I could," he said, voice low, playful, "but then you wouldn't feel my warmth."
She rolled her eyes but smiled.
"…Fine. You win. This time."
Sebastian brushed a strand of hair from her face, thumb lingering.
"…Morning," he murmured.
"…Feeling up for a little adventure today?"
"Adventure?" she echoed sleepily.
"…Is it dangerous?"
"Only mildly," he teased.
"…We're going to Miss Jones' to get your things. Then back here. I promise I'll be gentle with the moving."
Lillian laughed softly, pushing herself closer to him.
"…You're enjoying this too much."
"Maybe a little," he admitted.
"…But I get to carry my favorite person."
She feigned groaning.
"…Don't let that go to your head."
After a quick shower and breakfast, they drove to Chloe's apartment.
Lillian rested her head on Sebastian's shoulder, feeling the morning warmth between them.
"You drive too fast," she murmured, teasing.
"I drive perfectly fine," he replied, eyes on the road.
"…It's you being too heavy. Couldn't handle my acceleration."
"Heavy?" she gasped.
"…I'm not heavy!"
"You're… the right kind of heavy," he said softly.
"…Perfectly right."
Her cheeks warmed, but she leaned closer anyway.
"…You're ridiculous."
By the time they arrived, Chloe opened the door before they could knock.
"…Wow. Look at you two. Moving in together now? Didn't take long, huh?"
Lillian blushed furiously.
"Chloe!"
Sebastian smirked, stepping slightly forward.
"…Morning, Miss Jones. We'll be quick."
Chloe raised an eyebrow.
"…Sure. 'Quick.' I see you've packed this as a date."
Lillian huffed, giggling.
"…It's not like that!"
Sebastian grabbed a small bag from the car.
"…Technically, it is. Moving day is fun."
Inside, Lillian began organizing her clothes and necessities, pulling items from drawers.
Sebastian hovered nearby, teasing.
"Do you really need all these shoes?" he asked, eyebrow raised.
"Of course," she replied sharply, tossing a pair at him.
"…Style matters."
He caught them, laughing.
"…Style, huh? I might have to supervise."
She rolled her eyes and shoved a sweater in her bag.
"…You're ridiculous."
"I know," he said, grinning.
"…And you love it."
Lillian smirked, hiding a blush.
"…Maybe."
Sebastian leaned closer while she bent to pick up a shirt.
"…Careful, you might knock me over."
"I'm not that clumsy," she said, though her laughter betrayed her.
He chuckled, wrapping an arm around her waist from behind.
"…Sure. Let's test that theory."
She squealed, spinning slightly, and playfully swatted him.
"…Hey! Hands off!"
"Just making sure you don't overpack," he teased, planting a quick kiss on her shoulder.
"…Safety inspection."
Lillian blushed, giggling, trying to hide her face in his chest.
"…You're impossible."
"You say that like it's a bad thing," he murmured, pressing another kiss to her neck.
The two of them packed together, teasing, laughing, and stealing quick touches.
Lillian's bag slowly filled with essentials, while Sebastian found little ways to distract her — tucking a scarf playfully around her shoulders, or nudging her into a brief tickle fight.
Finally, everything was ready.
Lillian slung her bag over her shoulder.
"…All done," she said, smiling.
Sebastian grinned.
"…And we didn't even break anything."
"…Yet," she muttered, laughter in her voice.
The drive back to the mansion was quiet, intimate.
Lillian rested her head on his shoulder again, and he wrapped an arm around her, thumb brushing lightly along her arm.
Back at the mansion, Lillian headed straight for the closet to organize her clothes.
Sebastian leaned against the doorway, watching.
"…Need help?"
"I've got it," she said, glancing back.
"…But I might let you sneak a few comments."
"Perfect," he said softly, approaching behind her.
He wrapped his arms around her waist, pressing a kiss to her shoulder.
"…This looks better than I imagined."
"Sebastian!" she gasped, cheeks warming.
"…Stop sneaking up on me!"
"I'm not stopping," he whispered, nuzzling her neck gently.
"…You smell good."
Lillian swatted him lightly, laughing.
"…You're ridiculous! And distracting!"
He chuckled.
"…Good. Because I want to be."
She shook her head, trying to focus on folding shirts, but he moved closer, kisses trailing along her shoulder and neck.
"…Sebastian, I can't—."
"…Can," he murmured softly, pressing another kiss.
"…You can."
Her heart raced, laughter mixing with a soft gasp.
"…You're impossible."
"And you're amazing," he whispered, voice low, warm.
"…Perfectly amazing."
Finally, Lillian stepped back, turning to face him, cheeks flushed.
"…Okay, maybe you're winning this one."
He smirked, leaning closer, their faces inches apart.
"…Always."
The playful teasing shifted into a softer intimacy.
Sebastian's hands rested on her waist, pulling her gently against him.
Lillian's hands lingered on his chest, heart thudding.
"You know," he murmured, voice low, "…I could stay like this forever."
"…Forever?" she asked, eyes wide, breath catching.
"…That's a long time."
"…Not long enough," he said softly, leaning closer, pressing his forehead to hers.
"…Because you're everything, Lillian."
Her cheeks flushed, eyes shimmering.
"…Sebastian…"
He smiled, brushing a strand of hair from her face, then gently pushed her back onto the bed.
"…Lie down," he murmured, hovering above her.
"…Just stay here with me."
She complied, heart racing, looking up at him.
He knelt over her, hands on either side, leaning in slightly.
His eyes locked on hers with pure love, intensity, and warmth.
"…You're mine," he whispered softly.
"…And I'm yours."
Lillian's breath caught.
"…Yes," she whispered, her hand brushing his cheek.
"…Always."
Sebastian's lips curved into a tender, loving smile.
"…Good," he murmured, leaning closer, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.
"…Because I'm never letting you go."
She looked up at him, eyes wide, heart full, completely captivated by the way he stared at her — unguarded, honest, and full of love.
The mansion was quiet around them, sun spilling over the bedspread, warmth and comfort surrounding them.
And in that moment, all that existed was the two of them — laughter, teasing, and the overwhelming, undeniable love they shared.
Sebastian rested his forehead against hers, hands still on the bed beside her.
"…You're my everything," he whispered, eyes locked on hers.
"…And I'm never letting that change."
Lillian smiled softly, her fingers brushing against his hand.
"…And I'm yours," she said, voice low and certain.
"…Always."
