Chapter 3 - 3-A Voidling

Wemmbu was sitting on top of one of the tall obsidian pillars in the End, his legs dangling over the edge while the endless void stretched below him. His wings fluttered lazily as he watched the distant islands.

Eggchan hovered nearby, blinking slowly.

"Brrp."

"I'm bored," Wemmbu groaned.

Suddenly a voice echoed across the End.

"WEMMBU!"

Wemmbu looked down.

MinuteTech stood near the bedrock fountain below.

And in his hand…

Was a small voidling.

Wemmbu's eyes widened.

He quickly glided down and landed beside him.

MinuteTech held the creature up slightly.

The tiny voidling dangled there calmly, blinking with glowing purple eyes. It wore a small set of dark clothes, slightly oversized but neatly fitted.

"Look what I found," MinuteTech said flatly. "Is this your doing?"

"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" Wemmbu shouted immediately.

MinuteTech narrowed his eyes.

The tiny voidling looked between them.

"…Hello."

Wemmbu blinked.

"…It talks?"

"Obviously," MinuteTech replied.

Eggchan floated closer.

Blink.

The small voidling pointed at it.

"…Weird eye."

"Brrp."

Wemmbu laughed.

"That's Eggchan."

The voidling studied both of them carefully.

Its glowing eyes moved back and forth, analyzing everything.

Then it looked at MinuteTech.

"…Minute."

MinuteTech paused.

"…How do you know my name?"

The voidling smiled slightly.

"…Listened."

MinuteTech crossed his arms.

"Of course you did."

Wemmbu crouched down.

"You're really small."

"…Spoke."

Wemmbu tilted his head.

"That your name?"

The voidling nodded proudly.

"…Spoke."

MinuteTech sighed.

"I was going to name him that anyway."

Wemmbu laughed.

"Dad, did you give him those clothes?"

MinuteTech glanced down.

"Yes."

Then he added flatly,

"Because he was naked."

Wemmbu burst out laughing.

Spoke looked down at his outfit proudly.

"…Spoke approved."

Eggchan blinked slowly.

---

Over the next few days, something became clear.

Spoke was extremely smart.

He learned how to use tools faster than expected.

He memorized the layout of the End islands.

He studied the obsidian pillars.

And most concerning of all…

He studied the portal.

One afternoon, MinuteTech sat near the bedrock fountain, repairing a set of Netherite armor while his Netherite tools rested beside him.

Spoke quietly walked over.

"…Minute?"

MinuteTech didn't look up.

"What."

Spoke pointed toward the portal.

"…Overworld."

MinuteTech immediately replied.

"No."

Spoke tilted his head.

"…Why?"

"Because the Overworld is dangerous."

Spoke thought for a moment.

"…But you go."

"I'm different."

"…But Wemmbu dragon."

MinuteTech paused slightly.

"…Yes."

Spoke lowered his head.

"…Spoke small."

"…Spoke weak."

"…Spoke never see other world."

MinuteTech frowned slightly.

"…That's unfortunate."

Spoke sighed dramatically.

"…Spoke always stuck here."

MinuteTech looked at him carefully.

Spoke continued quietly.

"…Spoke just curious."

"…Just look."

"…Minute watch Spoke."

MinuteTech actually considered it for a moment.

Then suddenly—

"Brrp."

Eggchan floated between them.

Its eye narrowed at Spoke.

Spoke froze.

Eggchan slowly turned toward MinuteTech.

"Brrp."

MinuteTech's eyes narrowed immediately.

Then he looked back at Spoke.

"…You were trying to manipulate me."

Spoke blinked.

"…What?"

MinuteTech crossed his arms.

"You almost convinced me."

Spoke looked surprised.

"…Really?"

MinuteTech stared at him.

Spoke slowly grinned.

"…Almost worked."

Wemmbu burst out laughing from nearby.

"HE ALMOST TRICKED YOU?!"

Spoke proudly crossed his tiny arms.

"…Spoke smart."

MinuteTech rubbed his forehead.

"…I adopted a manipulative void child."

Eggchan floated beside him.

"Brrp."

MinuteTech sighed deeply.

"…This is going to be a very long century."

Chapter 6 — Wings for Spoke

Life in the End had become… crowded.

Where there was once only silence and drifting Endermen, there were now voices, laughter, and the occasional argument echoing across the islands.

Wemmbu flew between the floating End Stone islands almost constantly, his wings slicing through the still air of the void.

And wherever he went…

Two small companions followed.

One of them could fly easily.

The other… could not.

---

Spoke ran as fast as his tiny legs could carry him across the pale End Stone ground.

"WAIT!"

Wemmbu swooped down onto another island, landing beside a chorus plant.

Eggchan hovered beside him.

"Brrp."

A few seconds later—

Spoke finally jumped across the gap using a small bridge of blocks.

He collapsed dramatically on the ground.

"…Spoke tired."

Wemmbu laughed.

"You're slow!"

"…Spoke small."

"That's not my problem."

Eggchan blinked.

"Brrp."

Spoke glared slightly at Wemmbu.

"…Dragon unfair."

Before Wemmbu could respond, a shadow appeared above them.

MinuteTech landed silently nearby.

He looked down at Spoke.

"…Why is he running everywhere?"

Wemmbu shrugged.

"He keeps following us."

Spoke nodded proudly.

"…Spoke explore."

MinuteTech crossed his arms.

"…He can't fly."

"Yeah," Wemmbu said.

"He keeps falling behind."

Spoke frowned.

"…Spoke not like falling."

MinuteTech stared at the small voidling for a moment.

Then he sighed.

"…Fine."

He reached into a nearby chest he had placed earlier and pulled something out.

A pair of elytras.

Spoke caught them clumsily.

"…What this?"

"Wings," MinuteTech said.

Spoke blinked.

"…Fake wings?"

"They let you glide."

Spoke stared at them for a moment.

Then his glowing eyes lit up.

"…Spoke fly?"

"Sort of."

Wemmbu grinned.

"Oh this is gonna be fun."

A few minutes later—

Spoke stood near the edge of an island wearing the elytra.

The wings were slightly big for him, but MinuteTech had tightened the straps so they fit.

Spoke looked down at the void below.

"…Very deep."

"Just jump," Wemmbu said.

"…Jump?"

Eggchan hovered nearby.

"Brrp."

MinuteTech crossed his arms.

"Spread the wings when you fall."

Spoke looked back at them.

"…If Spoke die… Spoke haunt you."

"Just jump."

Spoke took a deep breath.

Then—

He stepped off the island.

"AAAA—"

Spoke dropped through the void for a moment before quickly spreading the elytra.

The wings caught the air.

Suddenly—

He glided.

Spoke's screaming stopped.

"…Oh."

He slowly turned in the air.

"…OH."

Then he flew past Wemmbu.

"…SPOKE FLYING!"

Wemmbu burst out laughing and launched himself into the air.

"RACE YOU!"

Eggchan followed them.

"Brrp!"

Spoke struggled slightly to control the glide but quickly adjusted.

Despite never flying before…

He was learning fast.

MinuteTech watched from the island below.

"…He's adapting already," he muttered.

Spoke circled back and landed clumsily beside him.

He immediately raised his arms proudly.

"…Spoke now sky ruler."

MinuteTech stared at him.

"…You glided for twelve seconds."

Spoke crossed his arms confidently.

"…Still ruler."

Wemmbu landed beside them laughing.

"This is gonna be great."

Eggchan hovered happily above them.

"Brrp!"

MinuteTech sighed once again.

A dragon child.

A floating eye.

And now…

A tiny manipulative voidling with wings.

"…The End is officially chaos."
