Jay's POV
It had been three months, and Mom was now nine months pregnant. The babies could arrive at any time, so all of us were extremely protective of her. We were always around her, making sure she was okay.
"Jay, baby," Keifer said as he entered the room.
"Love you so much," he sang before wrapping his arms around me from behind. He kissed my cheeks, neck, and shoulder repeatedly.
"Baby, I'm not going to give you booby," I said.
He immediately stopped kissing me.
He pouted and dramatically rolled across the bed.
"Why? I'm your baby," he complained.
I sighed and nodded.
I lay down, and he hugged me tightly.
"Ahhhh!"
Suddenly, Mom's scream echoed through the house.
Both of us jumped up and ran outside.
"Mom!" Keifer shouted as he caught her before she could fall.
"Mom... Mom..." Keifer said, gently patting her shoulder.
"Mom," I said, holding her hand.
"My water broke..." she whispered.
I quickly dialed Dad's number. He and Kegain had gone shopping for baby toys.
"Dad, come fast! Mom's water broke!" I said before hanging up.
"Jay, call an ambulance!" Keifer said.
I nodded and immediately called.
"They're coming," I said.
I rubbed Mom's hand.
"Mom, please stay strong. Please," I begged through tears.
"No time to wait. We're leaving now," Keifer said as he carefully picked Mom up.
Just as we reached the door, the ambulance arrived.
"Over here!" I shouted.
The paramedics quickly placed Mom inside.
Keifer and I sat beside her in the ambulance while holding her hands.
Seeing her in so much pain made me never want children.
Soon, we arrived at the hospital.
Mom was rushed into the labor room.
"Please, God, keep Mom safe," Keifer prayed.
"Where is she?" Dad asked as he arrived with Kegain.
"Mama!" Kegain cried, tears already falling.
"Shh... Mama will be okay. The babies are coming," I said, hugging him.
Minutes felt like hours.
We sat outside, praying nonstop.
Dad stayed inside with Mom because she needed support.
Finally, the door opened.
The doctor stepped out with a bright smile.
"Congratulations, little troublemaker," the doctor said while looking at Kegain. "You're a big brother now. It's a boy and a girl."
"How's Mom?" Keifer immediately asked.
"She's fine. She's just unconscious because she's exhausted," the doctor replied.
We all sighed in relief.
When we entered the room, we froze.
Two tiny babies were lying beside Mom.
"Oh my..." Keifer gasped.
He hurried toward them and carefully picked up his baby sister.
Tears immediately filled his eyes.
"Oh my God... Hi, baby sister. I'm your big kuya," he whispered before kissing her cheek.
She smiled in her sleep.
"Awwww," we all said.
I gently picked up the baby boy.
"Hello, baby. I'm your ate," I said softly.
I kissed his tiny cheek.
To our surprise, he smiled too.
We exchanged babies, and I kissed the little girl.
My tiny sister-in-law and brother-in-law.
"Now give me a turn!" Kegain demanded.
He sat on the couch, and I carefully handed him his baby sister.
He kissed her cheek.
Then he hugged his baby brother.
"I love you both," he whispered.
"Kezair..." Mom suddenly murmured.
"Mama!" Kegain shouted happily before hugging her.
Mom hugged him back.
Then her eyes landed on the babies.
She gasped.
We carefully placed them in her arms.
Mom smiled through tears and kissed both of them.
That night, Dad stayed at the hospital.
"You three go home. I'll stay here," Dad said.
We nodded and kissed the babies goodbye.
They were so cute.
When we got home, Kegain jumped excitedly.
"I can't believe I'm a big kuya now! YEAHHHH!"
Keifer and I laughed.
"Go sleep. We'll visit them tomorrow," I said.
He happily nodded.
After checking on Kegain and making sure he was asleep, I returned to my room.
"Jay, I can't forget their faces," Keifer said while smiling.
"Especially my little brother. Did you see how he looked at me?"
I smiled.
"Yeah. But what are their names?"
"Mom and Dad said it's a surprise."
I nodded.
Soon, we drifted to sleep.

The Next Day
Early the next morning, all of us rushed back to the hospital.
The moment Keifer entered the room, he went straight to the babies.
"Good morning, baby sister."
He kissed her forehead.
"And good morning, baby brother."
The baby boy grabbed Keifer's finger.
"Oh my God, Jay! Look!"
Keifer almost cried again.
"They know me!"
I laughed.
"They're literally one day old."
"I don't care. They love me."
Soon, Mom and Dad finally revealed their names.
The boy is older and his name is Mir kerein Watson
The girl name is seriana kaiara Watson
Everyone loved them immediately.
From that day on, Keifer became completely attached to the babies.
Every chance he got, he carried them.
He talked to them, sang to them, and took hundreds of pictures.
My family also come to visit babies and mom and dad frend too
Whenever someone else held them for too long, keifer would immediately take them back.
Meanwhile, seven-year-old Kegain became their tiny bodyguard.
Whenever visitors came near them, he would stand in front of the crib.
"Wash your hands first."
"Don't be too loud."
"Be careful."
The adults couldn't stop laughing.
At afternoon, I found him sitting beside the babies while holding a toy sword.
"What are you doing?"
"Protecting them."
"From what?"
"Everything."
I couldn't stop laughing.

A few days later, Keifer and I returned to school.
The moment we entered campus, Aries, Percy, and Yuri ran toward us.
"Bro!" Aries shouted.
"We heard the news!" Percy added.
"You're a big brother again!" Yuri said.
Keifer grinned proudly.
"Yep."
The three boys congratulated him.
"Congratulations!"
"Thanks."
Then Keifer immediately pulled out his phone.
"Look at them."
For the next twenty minutes, Aries, Percy, and Yuri were forced to look at hundreds of baby photos.
"They're cute."
"Very cute."
"Extremely cute."
The boys laughed as Keifer continued showing more pictures.
At lunch break, I sat with Ella, Mica, Rakki, Freya, and Grace.
The moment I arrived, they surrounded me.
"SHOW US THE BABIES!"
I laughed.
"You guys didn't even say hi."
"SHOW US THE BABIES FIRST."
I handed over my phone.
The girls immediately squealed.
"Oh my God!"
"They're adorable!"
"They look like little angels!"
"Can I babysit them?"
"Can I adopt one?"
"No!" I shouted.
Everyone laughed.
For the rest of lunch break, we talked about the babies.
I couldn't stop smiling.
Our family had become a little bigger.
And somehow, our hearts had become even bigger too.
