"Hahaha!"
Marshal's laughter filled the room as the flames from the decoy mansion flickered across the screen.
"Congratulations, Don Marshal!"
"I knew they wouldn't stand a chance!"
"They thought they could go against the Di Carpios?"
The men gathered around the table laughed along with him.
Marshal raised his chin, a smug smile plastered across his face as he listened to their praises.
"Boss, you really are blessed," one of the men said. "Look at this. The moment you decided to handle everything personally, things immediately started going our way."
"Exactly!" another agreed. "Those bastards had their fun because Boss wasn't paying attention to them before."
Marshal laughed even louder.
"That's what happens when rats start thinking they're lions," he said proudly. "They forgot who they were dealing with."
Scott stood several steps behind him, silently watching.
The plan had been his.
