Kael grabs Seraphine's collar.
Hard.
"You're lying."
The soldiers behind her raise weapons.
Jonas sighs.
"Please don't start another fight."
Seraphine doesn't resist.
She simply looks at Kael.
"You already know I'm right."
Kael's grip tightens.
Future Kael speaks quietly.
"…he does."
Aria's eyes widen.
"You knew?"
Kael stays silent.
Seraphine continues calmly.
"You saw the future."
Kael finally lets go.
His voice barely audible.
"Yes."
Aria steps back.
"You knew I destroy everything."
Kael shakes his head.
"No."
Seraphine corrects him.
"She doesn't destroy it."
Everyone looks at her.
She finishes quietly.
"She rewrites it."
Elias whispers.
"…a living paradox."
Seraphine nods.
"The universe correcting itself."
Aria laughs weakly.
"Great."
"I'm cosmic editing software."
Jonas smirks.
"Honestly that sounds powerful."
The Observer's eye shifts again.
Studying Aria.
"Core anomaly confirmed."
Seraphine looks toward the massive eye.
"You see it too."
The Observer responds.
"Origin point located."
Future Kael whispers.
"…origin?"
Aria feels a strange pressure in her chest.
Like something waking inside her.
And suddenly—
She remembers something.
A moment.
A childhood memory.
A clock.
Broken.
Not moving.
Her voice trembles.
"…I've seen this place before."
The entire room goes still.
