Kael stands in the middle of the street.

Not the Kael beside her.

Younger.
Covered in blood.
Aria gasps.
"…Kael."
The creature's voice echoes.
"The first timeline."
The younger Kael kneels.
Holding someone.
A girl.
Her hair dark.
Her face pale.
Aria feels a strange pain in her chest.
The girl whispers weakly.
"Don't let me disappear."
Kael shakes his head.
"I won't."
The creature speaks again.
"He failed."
The girl's body fades.
Like dust in wind.
Kael screams.
A sound full of centuries of grief.
Aria grabs the Kael beside her.
"…what is this?"
His voice cracks.
"My past."
Jonas whispers.

The vision continues.
Kael stands slowly.
Rain pouring over him.
He looks at the sky.

"I'll bring her back."
The creature says quietly.

Aria whispers.

The creature answers.
"He broke time."
The vision collapses.
Darkness again.
The room returns.
