Jonas grabs a chair.
"Okay something is very wrong."
Elias looks terrified.

The creature looks upward.

Aria notices.
"You're scared."
The creature turns slowly.
"I do not feel fear."
But its voice sounds different.
Unstable.
A crack forms in the ceiling.
Light leaks through.

It flickers.
Like broken reality.
Lena whispers.
"…it's starting."
Kael turns to her.
"What is?"
She looks at him.
"The collapse."
The crack spreads across the ceiling.
Then the wall.
Then the floor.
Reality splits like glass.
Jonas stares.
"Okay that's definitely not normal."
Aria sees something inside the crack.
Movement.
Hundreds of shadows.
Watching.
Waiting.
She whispers.
"…what are those?"
The creature answers slowly.
"Other timelines."
Elias's voice shakes.
"They're bleeding together."
The shadows inside the crack move closer.
Hands pressing against invisible walls.
Kael steps forward.
"Seal it."
The creature shakes its head.
"I cannot."
Everyone freezes.
Aria whispers.
"…why?"
The creature answers.
"Because time is no longer sleeping."
The crack suddenly explodes open.
Wind tears through the room.
Reality screams.
And something falls through the fracture.
A body.
It hits the floor hard.
Jonas squints.
"…uh."
"That guy looks familiar."
Aria slowly walks closer.
Her breath stops.
Because the man lying on the floor…
is Kael.
But not the Kael beside her.
