You might think when Mai's mother came into her daughters room and saw her bloodied body on top of white bed sheets that were dyed crimson by her 'daughters' blood she would be immediately worried, instead the woman stared at the body not out of sadness, grief not even concern but irritation. Irritation that her only child had to kill herself in her house, she thought of all the complications and money she would have to spend and took 15 minutes trying to decide if she shouldn't just harvest Mai's organs and dump the rest of the body somewhere else before calling the emergency number
The ambulance came immediately trying to check for a slim chance of her survival but there couldn't be anychance
Mai made sure of that
There was no way to bring her back
All major arteries were punctured, and her organs were long gone. So they delivered the news to her mom with the whole 'we tried everything we could speech' but her mom didn't even bother with them instead her focus was trying to reach someone-- that person being Mai's father
He quickly arrived the hospital, looking more concerned about a daughter he barely spent time with than the mother that spent the most time with her

Mai's father asked her mother where her body was, but her mother completely ignored the question and put on her signature act in front of the father of her child
The mothers so-called wails filled her once emotionless expression
It's always been this way
The fake tears stream down her face, a move that has been practiced to perfection by the woman, the man sighed not giving in but tired. Tired of the same crybaby act that's been around the day his daughter to this woman was born
When the woman noticed that didn't work she immediately switched tactics "You act like you don't even care about, even though you forced her on me when I was in desperate for money"

An officer interrupts her attempt to extort the man and tells them the two of them would have to wait so it could be confirmed if it was really a suicide attempt

A few hours of deafening silence later, the officers return after inspecting Mai's room they inform her 'parents' about th eitems they found hidden in her room
