"Fuck!" Ethan cursed, jumping to his feet. "Does he know about this?"
"Of course not," Aria replied, her tone turning serious. "If he finds out, then I know my child will never get to live. We're enemies, Ethan."
"Uh… are you sure you want to keep the baby?" Ethan asked, raising an eyebrow as he swallowed hard.
"Of course I'm keeping my baby," Aria declared, her voice unwavering. "Even though the father is Damien, I'll treat him like he doesn't exist. He'll just be regarded as a sperm donor."
Ethan exhaled slowly, then gave a small, warm smile. "The baby can call me father, though. Since it's your choice to keep the baby, I accept your decision."
"Just forget the marriage part, Ethan," Aria replied firmly.
"Alright," he said with a soft chuckle. "Then I'll be the baby's favorite uncle. But first, we need to get you away from Damien if you want to live."
Aria nodded.
"Before my stomach starts getting bigger, I need to leave," she said quietly.
