Screen 1
While sailing through the Grand Line, the Straw Hat crew met a strange and energetic man named Mr. 2 Bon Clay. He greeted them in a friendly and dramatic way, dancing and introducing himself with excitement.
Sonic watched him curiously as the man showed a strange ability. After touching someone's face, Mr. 2 could perfectly imitate that person's appearance.
Sonic tilted his head in confusion. "Wait… how did he just change like that?"
Vivi suddenly became serious as she recognized the danger. She realized that Mr. 2 was actually a Baroque Works agent, and his ability to copy people could be a serious threat.
Screen 2
As the Going Merry finally reached the kingdom of Alabasta, the crew looked out across the vast desert stretching far into the distance.
Sonic stepped onto the sand and looked around at the endless dry land.
"This place feels strange," Sonic said. "No water, just sand everywhere."
He kicked the sand lightly with his foot and added, "I'm used to running near the sea, not across a desert like this."
The hot wind blew across the desert as the crew prepared to travel deeper into the land.
Screen 3
As the crew entered the towns of Alabasta, Sonic pulled his hood up to cover most of his face.
Even though many strange people traveled through the Grand Line, Sonic still did not want too many people asking questions about what he was.
Walking beside the crew, he quietly said, "Let's keep things simple. The fewer people who notice me, the better."
Most people in the busy streets paid attention to the pirates and travelers around them, not realizing that the strange blue figure moving with the crew was actually Sonic.
Screen 4
After arriving in Alabasta, the crew decided to split up to move through the kingdom more easily and gather information. Each member took a different path across the desert towns.
Sonic quietly slipped away from the group. Moving at incredible speed, he traveled across the desert so fast that most people could not even see him.
Because of this, almost no one realized he was there. To the people of Alabasta, the blue hedgehog moving through the desert remained completely unnoticed.
Screen 5
While traveling through Alabasta, Vivi explained the truth about what was happening in the kingdom. She told Sonic about Dance Powder, a substance that can artificially create rain.
Vivi revealed that Crocodile had secretly been using it to cause drought across most of Alabasta, while rain continued to fall only near the capital. Because of this, many citizens believed the king was selfishly keeping the rain for himself.
This manipulation slowly pushed the kingdom into a civil war.
Sonic stopped walking for a moment and looked across the dry desert.
"So he's controlling the weather… and making people fight each other," Sonic said quietly.
His expression became serious. "That's worse than just being a pirate."
Screen 6
When the crew arrived in Nano Hana Town, they suddenly saw a familiar face meeting Luffy in the street. It was Portgas D. Ace, Luffy's older brother and a commander of the Whitebeard Pirates.
Ace greeted Luffy warmly, and the two brothers quickly began talking and laughing.
Sonic stood nearby watching the scene with curiosity.
Luffy pointed toward him and said, "Ace, this is Sonic. He joined our crew."
Ace looked at the blue hedgehog for a moment and smiled. "A talking hedgehog pirate, huh? Luffy really finds the most interesting friends."
Sonic crossed his arms with a small grin. "And you're the fire guy he keeps talking about."
Just then, Captain Smoker arrived to chase Luffy again. Ace stepped forward, using his fire powers to block Smoker and help the crew escape.
Screen 7
After helping the crew escape, Ace walked with them through the streets of Nano Hana.
He explained that he was currently searching for a man named Blackbeard, a former member of the Whitebeard Pirates who had betrayed their crew.
Ace's expression became serious as he spoke about the betrayal.
Sonic listened closely. The name sounded familiar from something he had heard earlier in the Grand Line.
"So that's the pirate who attacked Drum Island," Sonic said thoughtfully.
Ace nodded slightly. "Yeah. And I'm going to find him."
Screen 8
After spending some time with Luffy and the crew, Ace prepared to continue his own journey to search for Blackbeard. He decided to head toward Yuba Town, which was also where Vivi planned to meet the Rebel Army.
Luffy said goodbye to his older brother while the crew watched.
Sonic stepped forward and looked at Ace. "Good luck finding the guy you're chasing."
Ace smiled slightly. "Thanks. Take care of my little brother."
Sonic nodded once and watched as Ace walked away into the desert, heading toward his own mission.
Screen 9
As the crew traveled across the desert, Vivi began explaining the history of Yuba Town and the Rebel Army. She spoke about her childhood friend Koza, who had become the leader of the rebels.
Vivi also told them about the struggles the town faced many years ago when the drought first began. The suffering of the people slowly led to anger against the kingdom, even though the king had tried to help them.
Sonic walked quietly beside the group, listening to the story.
After a moment, he said, "So the whole country started fighting because people believed the wrong thing."
He looked across the dry desert and added, "Crocodile really planned all of this carefully."
