Screen 1
Luffy and Sonic confronted Crocodile once again on the palace rooftop. Crocodile immediately used his sand powers to drain the moisture from their bodies, trying to weaken them again.
But Luffy and Sonic were prepared this time. Using water from the tank, they quickly soaked their hands and rushed back into the fight.
Luffy threw powerful punches while Sonic dashed around Crocodile at incredible speed, landing quick strikes whenever Crocodile's body became solid from the water.
Angered by their counterattack, Crocodile raised his hand and used his powers to dry out the entire area.
The ground around them cracked and split apart as the moisture disappeared, turning the battlefield into dry, crumbling sand.
Screen 2
The battle grew more intense as Crocodile fought back with his full strength. Using his sand powers, he overwhelmed both Luffy and Sonic with powerful attacks.
Eventually, Crocodile struck them both down again, leaving them buried in the dry desert ground and believing they would not survive.
Before leaving, Crocodile turned his attention toward the palace and the Poneglyph, the ancient stone that held the secret he wanted about the weapon Pluton.
But as time passed, small drops of stray water reached Luffy and Sonic in the sand.
The moisture slowly brought them back, giving them the strength to move again and continue the fight.
Screen 3
Vivi realized the hidden cannon was most likely inside the Clock Tower and quickly signaled the others.
Nami, Chopper, Sanji, and Zoro rushed through the city together, fighting their way toward the tower to stop the weapon before it could fire on the two armies.
At the same time, Luffy and Sonic ran toward the underground temple where Crocodile was waiting.
Luffy discovered another way to counter Crocodile's sand powers. Even when water was gone, his own blood could make Crocodile's body solid enough to strike.
Using this, Luffy charged forward and continued the fight.
Sonic moved at high speed around Crocodile, striking from different angles and forcing him to defend while Luffy attacked directly.
Meanwhile, inside the Clock Tower, Vivi managed to stop the cannon from firing.
But when she looked closer, she discovered something even worse — a powerful time bomb hidden inside the tower.
Screen 4
Crocodile revealed the final part of his plan. The time bomb hidden in the Clock Tower was powerful enough to destroy a large part of Alabasta, wiping out both the royal army and the rebel army at the same time.
As panic spread through the city, Pell suddenly appeared in his falcon form. Without hesitation, he grabbed the bomb and flew high into the sky, carrying it far away from the people below.
Moments later, the explosion filled the sky above the desert.
Everyone on the ground looked up in shock.
Sonic watched the explosion and slowly lowered his head.
"He carried it away so the city could live," Sonic said quietly.
For a moment, the usually confident hedgehog stayed silent, showing respect for Pell's sacrifice.
Screen 5
Inside the palace, Crocodile believed the battle was already over. His poison had struck both Luffy and Sonic, and he was confident they could not stand again.
But after a moment, Luffy slowly rose back to his feet. Sonic also stood up beside him.
A dark, intense aura began to surround Sonic for a moment — a glimpse of the darker power he could reach in the future. The air around him felt heavier as he prepared to continue the fight.
Luffy wiped the sand from his face and said firmly, "I'm going to be the King of the Pirates."
The two charged forward together.
Sonic spun forward at incredible speed, launching a powerful Spin Dash that forced Crocodile back. At the same time, Luffy unleashed a series of rapid punches with his Gum-Gum Gatling.
The combined attacks overwhelmed Crocodile, and the final blow sent him crashing through the palace walls and flying out into the open desert below.
For the first time, the warlord's defeat was clear.
Screen 6
After Crocodile's defeat, dark clouds finally gathered above Alabasta. Soon, rain began falling across the desert kingdom, ending the long drought that had caused so much suffering.
The sudden rain surprised everyone on the battlefield. Both the royal army and the rebel army stopped fighting as the water fell from the sky.
Vivi rushed between the two sides, calling for them to stop the battle. With the truth about Crocodile's manipulation revealed — supported by a child witness and the return of Igaram — the rebel army finally understood they had been deceived.
Slowly, the anger between the people faded, and the kingdom began to reconcile with the king.
Sonic stood quietly on the palace rooftop, watching the rain fall across the desert city.
After everything that had happened, he gave a small smile and said softly, "Looks like the storm is finally over."
Screen 7
After the battle ended, Navy Captain Tashigi arrived with Marine soldiers and officially arrested Crocodile. With his crimes exposed, Crocodile was stripped of his title as one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.
Soon after, the King of Alabasta personally thanked Luffy and his crew for saving the kingdom and stopping the war.
But even with the kingdom safe, the Straw Hats knew they could not stay long. As pirates, they had to continue their journey.
As everyone prepared to leave, Sonic briefly passed by Tashigi.
He paused for a second, smiled, and said casually, "You're looking beautiful today."
Before she could even react, Sonic dashed away at incredible speed and disappeared.
Tashigi stood there for a moment, completely surprised.
"W-What just happened?" she said, still staring at the empty street.
Screen 8
Before leaving Alabasta, Sonic walked beside Vivi for a moment.
He looked at her and asked quietly, "You're a princess. Do you know anything about the Chaos Emeralds?"
Vivi thought for a moment, remembering something from the old records of the kingdom.
"I don't know everything," Vivi said, "but there is an old story in the royal archives."
She explained that about 30 years ago, strange gems called Chaos Emeralds appeared somewhere in the Grand Line. The records said their power was strong enough to destroy several islands if used incorrectly.
Because of that power, powerful forces began searching for them. Some were believed to have been taken by a Yonko, while another might have been captured by the World Government.
But Vivi admitted that the records did not say where they were now.
Sonic listened carefully and stayed quiet for a moment.
He nodded slightly, taking note of the information in his mind as the crew prepared to continue their journey across the Grand Line.
Screen 9
After the battle, Luffy slowly recovered from Crocodile's poison with Chopper carefully treating him. Once he was strong again, the crew relaxed inside the palace. They enjoyed a huge feast and even took a long bath after all the battles in the desert.
Soon, news spread across the seas that Luffy's bounty had increased to 100 million berries, showing how dangerous the world now considered him.
Meanwhile, Mr. 2 Bon Clay returned and secretly helped protect the crew's ship so they could safely leave Alabasta.
As the Going Merry prepared to depart, Vivi stood on the shore thinking about her future. She had to decide whether to stay as the princess of Alabasta or leave with the pirates who had become her friends.
When the ship began sailing away, the Straw Hat crew stood together on the deck.
Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, and Sonic all silently raised their arms with an X mark on their wrists — their secret sign of friendship.
From the shore, Vivi saw the symbol and raised her arm with the same X mark, smiling through tears as she said goodbye to the crew.
