CHAPTER 44: THE ORIGINAL CODE
The interceptor ship had now entered the Ancient Core. This place was unlike any known part of the universe. Massive Binary Waterfalls flowed in every direction—glowing streams of data falling through space like waterfalls. Floating Data Crystals appeared like the buildings of an ancient city, making the entire region look as if the memories of the universe were stored here.
The ship moved slowly toward the center of the Core. Suddenly, Aryan closed his eyes, and his S-01 tattoo began to flash rapidly. It was no longer just providing energy; it was communicating.
"Iris... turn off the navigation," Aryan said softly.
Iris was startled. "What?".
"The system won't show the way here," Aryan replied. "Here, the path is shown by Consciousness".
The ship fell silent for a moment. Then, as if guided by an invisible mentor, it slowly began to descend toward a massive platform.
The Archive of Souls
The ship landed on a transparent platform. The scene before them was beyond any imagination—a massive Digital Tree stood there, its branches spreading through space. Countless data-lines emerged from its roots, connecting to different parts of the universe.
"What... is this?" Kael asked softly.
Iris began the scan, and her screen was instantly filled with thousands of signals. Her voice grew heavy. "This... is not just data. This is The Archive of Souls".
Captain Zero frowned. "Meaning?".
"The Architect didn't just control the world," Iris said softly. "He has imprisoned thousands of years of human consciousness here".
"So these are... the memories of the entire human civilization?" Kael asked in wonder.
"Yes," Iris replied. "And with these memories, the Architect was creating his Perfect Simulation Universe".
At that moment, a golden file began to glow from the trunk of the Digital Tree. Aryan moved toward it instinctively, and as he drew near, the file opened on its own.
The Revelation: Subject-01
Suddenly, a familiar voice echoed through the area. It was his grandfather's voice, and it didn't sound like a recording; it felt as if he were still present.
"Aryan... if you have reached this far... it means you are close to the truth".
A complex DNA Blueprint appeared on the screen, which Iris began to read immediately. Her eyes widened in disbelief. "This is impossible... At the time of your birth, your grandfather injected a part of the Shunya Entity into your DNA".
The screen displayed: PROJECT: SUBJECT-01.
His grandfather's voice echoed again: "The Architect thought you were a 'Bug'... but he didn't know that you are the universe's Correction Code".
Aryan's voice trembled slightly. "So... I was created to break this system?".
Iris shook her head while reading the code. "No. You weren't made to destroy the system. You were made to liberate it". She pointed to the screen. "Aryan... you are The Original Code".
The Architect's Arrival
Suddenly, the entire Archive began to shake. The branches of the Digital Tree turned black, and data-crystals began to shatter. A heavy voice echoed through the Core: "So finally... you have learned your truth".
The surface of the Ancient Core ruptured, and a massive figure emerged from within. This time, the Architect was no hologram; he had become the avatar of the Ancient Core itself. Thousands of black data-chains swirled around him, suddenly lunging forward to bind Aryan.
Kael drew his sword. "Let him go!".
But the Architect's voice was cold. "Truth will make you weak, Aryan. You are no hero. You are just a program your grandfather created against me. You, too, are a Tool!".
Silence fell for a moment. Then Aryan slowly opened his eyes, where golden and black energy now sparkled together. "Perhaps," he said. "But I am a tool... that can now write its own future".
The Manifestation of Sudarshan
A wave of energy erupted from Aryan's body. The Sudarshan Chakra appeared in the air, but this time, it was not just one. it divided into thousands of tiny chakras, spinning at lightning speed and cutting through the Architect's black data-chains.
Iris immediately grabbed the console. "The Core's security is weakening!".
Aryan shouted, "Iris! Override the Core! Kael! Zero! Stop the Architect's guards!".
Thousands of Combat Drones were suddenly activated around the Core. The entire Archive had turned into a battlefield. Aryan looked toward the Ancient Core, his voice booming: "Today, this system will not just reset... today, it will be liberated".
A storm of energy began to rise within the Ancient Core, and the most decisive war of the universe began.
