Nayza sighed again, "Leera... what am I supposed to do with you?"
In the end, she was forced to agree to the prom.
Leera instantly sounded excited again. "Good. Now go open the door."
Nayza frowned in confusion. "What do you mean open the door?"
"Just go open it."
Still confused, Nayza walked toward the entrance and opened the door.
The moment she did, she froze in surprise. "Leera? At this time?at night?"
Leera grinned proudly.
"Tadaa. I can at least do this much for my girl."
Nayza laughed softly.
"You really are something else. Come inside."
The moment they entered the apartment, Leera handed her a dress bag.
"Now hurry up and wear it. Let me see."
Nayza honestly had no mood for any of this, but she still wore it for Leera's sake.
A few moments later, she slowly walked out wearing the dress.
Leera's eyes widened instantly.
"It seriously looks like a model is standing in front of me."
Nayza laughed lightly.
"Oh, if only that were true. Then maybe I would've become a model instead."
Leera shook her head dramatically.
"Say whatever you want, but you really do look like one."
Nayza smiled faintly. "Alright then, my dear bestie."
Leera dropped herself onto the bed dramatically. "I'm sleeping here tonight. I'm exhausted. I'm going to sleep now, you come too."
Nayza smiled softly looking at her. "Okay. Let's sleep then."
The next morning, both of them woke up and spent some time together.
After having breakfast, Leera picked up her bag and said, "Alright then, I should leave now. And tonight, I'll come pick you up."
Nayza quickly replied, "Idiot. You should go with Yesir instead, so just go with him quietly. I'll come in my own car."
Then a small smile appeared on her face. "You know i have my car, my Nissan Skyline GT-R r34."
Leera laughed immediately.
"You and your obsession with cars."
Both of them laughed softly together.
But after a few moments, Nayza's expression slowly turned quieter.
"How is Doruk?"
Her voice sounded softer now.
"I miss him a lot... Do you think he'll come to the prom?"
Leera stayed silent for a second before replying,
"Actually... we haven't talked to him much either lately. He said he's been busy."
A faint smile appeared on Nayza's face, but it did not reach her eyes.
"Okay... it's fine."
Then she looked at Leera again and said quietly, "You should leave now. Bye."
Leera smiled softly and hugged her lightly. "Bye."
And after that, she left the apartment.
Her heart still did not want to go to the party.
She sat quietly on the edge of her bed, thinking to herself.
"What am I even supposed to do there...? It'll probably be so loud and crowded. I honestly wanted to stay home."
Then she sighed dramatically.
"Leera seriously dragged me into a musical at this point."
As evening slowly arrived, Nayza finally stood in front of the mirror after getting ready.
The dress hugged her figure perfectly. It was a deep plum-purple gown with thin straps and a fitted waist covered in delicate shimmering details. The fabric flowed elegantly down one side while layered ruffles fell softly from the other, giving the dress a graceful yet dramatic look whenever she moved.
Her soft dark hair was tied into a low loose ponytail, with a few strands resting around her face naturally. Her makeup was simple but beautiful, glossy lips, soft pinkish eyeshadow, long lashes, and a gentle glow on her skin that made her look even more delicate.
The matching dark purple heels completed the entire look.
Nayza quietly stared at herself in the mirror for a few seconds before a small smile slowly appeared on her face.
"Umm... yeah, I actually do look pretty today."
Then she laughed softly to herself.
"Anyway, I have a lot to do now. I probably won't get time for things like this later, so I should just enjoy tonight."
Her expression softened slightly.
"Leera was right. Graduation parties don't happen again and again."
Just then, her phone started ringing.
It was Leera.
The moment Nayza picked up, Leera excitedly asked,
"When are you coming? I already reached."
Nayza smiled lightly.
"I'm coming, my jaan."
Then her voice became softer but happier.
"Tonight I'm going to enjoy properly. I want to forget all my sadness for one night."
After a small pause, she added,
"And from tomorrow... I'll start a new life."
Leera instantly sounded happy hearing that.
"That's my Nayza."
Both of them smiled during the call.
"Okay then," Nayza said while picking up her keys. "I'm leaving now. See ya."
After ending the call, Nayza walked outside toward her car.
She unlocked her Nissan Skyline GT-R and sat inside before driving off toward the party.
While driving through the night roads, she quietly spoke to herself.
"Now this car is the only memory I have left of my parents..."
A faint smile appeared on her face.
"When it came to cars, they were always ahead of everyone else."
Then she gently held the steering wheel tighter.
"At least they gave me the best car."
When Nayza arrived at the party, she parked her car and stepped out slowly.
As she looked around the parking area, her eyes suddenly stopped on a familiar car.
Doruk's car.
The moment she recognized it, a small happiness appeared inside her heart without her even realizing it.
She quietly walked inside the party, looking around for Leera.
The entire place looked beautiful. Everyone was dressed up elegantly. Whether it was the boys or the girls, everyone looked unreal under the glowing lights and loud music.
Just then, Huru walked toward her with a smile.
"Hey, Nayza. I'm seeing you after so long."
Nayza smiled softly.
"Yeah, I was a little busy."
Huru nodded.
"That's okay. But seriously... you look so beautiful tonight."
Nayza looked at her and replied honestly,
"Thank you. You look really beautiful too."
Huru suddenly looked a little shy before asking,
"Do you think Doruk will like how I look?"
The moment Nayza heard Doruk's name, she became slightly quiet for a second.
But then she still smiled softly and said,
"Yeah... a lot."
Huru smiled brightly.
"I decided something today."
Nayza looked at her curiously.
"What?"
Huru looked excited and nervous at the same time.
"I'm going to confess my feelings to him tonight."
For some reason, hearing that made Nayza feel both happy and strange at the same time.
A weird heaviness quietly settled inside her chest, but she still kept smiling.
"All the best, cutie."
Huru grinned happily.
"Thanks. Okay then, I'm going to find Doruk now."
"Okay."
After Huru left, Nayza started searching for Leera again.
A few moments later, she finally spotted her.
Leera and Yesir were dancing together.
The moment Nayza saw them smiling so happily together, she couldn't help smiling too.
She quietly stood there watching them for a few seconds.
They looked genuinely happy.
And because of that, Nayza felt like she should not disturb them.
So instead, she walked toward the bar section and sat down there quietly before texting Leera that she had arrived.
