Gunshots echoed from the game.
"Don't go ahead alone. Stay together, only then we can kill them. If you go alone, we'll all die one by one!"
A boy from the game replied,
"Why should we listen to you?"
Nayza instantly got annoyed.
"What did you just say, idiot? You're already playing badly and still talking nonsense."
"Tch."
She exited the game and threw her phone onto the couch before turning the TV on.
"I lost every match today because of these noobs. Seriously, if they don't want to listen to their team, then why do they even play squad matches? They should just play solo instead."
Just then, her phone started ringing.
Nayza picked up the call.
"Hello?"
"Is this Nayza speaking?"
"Yes, this is Nayza."
"We're calling regarding the job you applied for. We found a position for you."
Nayza immediately sat up excitedly.
"Really? Please tell me what I need to do.'
"You'll be working at our coffee shop serving customers."
"Yes, of course. Please tell me when I should come and send me the location."
"You can start from tonight itself. Your shift will be from 8 PM to 1 AM."
"Okay, thank you."
Nayza happily called Leera.
Leera picked up the call and said dramatically,
"Yes madam, tell me."
Nayza smiled brightly.
"Leera, my love."
Leera instantly laughed.
"Okay, something good definitely happened."
Nayza excitedly replied,
"Yes! I got the job!"
Leera almost screamed.
"Whattt? Seriously?!"
"Yes! My shift starts today at 8 PM and ends at 1 AM."
"Where did you get the job?" Leera asked.
"Well, I don't really know much about places here," Nayza replied. "But I think it's called Velvet Hour. I'll be working in the coffee section."
Leera's eyes widened.
"Velvet Hour? That's the most luxurious hotel and restaurant in Morocco."
"Really?" Nayza asked in surprise.
"Yeahhh you can Google it." Leera sounded genuinely happy for her, "Congratulations, Nayza."
"Thank youuu."
Leera smiled before asking, "So now what?"
Nayza quietly replied, "I'll work for a few months first. After saving enough money to think about what I really want to do with my life... I'll leave this job."
Then she smiled softly, "And after that, I'll work hard to build my own future."
Leera smiled softly, "And I'll always be with you. If you ever need anything, just tell me."
Nayza became a little quiet before replying softly, "Yeah... you're the only family I have now."
A slight sadness appeared in her voice.
Leera immediately spoke gently, "Don't be sad anymore. All of us are with you."
Nayza smiled lightly, "Yeah... thank you so much."
Leera suddenly sounded excited again "So tell me, should I come with you this evening too?"
Nayza instantly smiled.
"That would actually be really nice. And you know what?I have to make coffee there too. Guess you'll be my first customer. "
Leera instantly sounded excited on the call. "Wow, that's actually really good."
Then after a moment, she suddenly said, "Nayza, I was thinking... what if I join too? We can work together. At least you won't be alone."
Nayza laughed softly, "The idea is really good, but why would you do all this? You already have everything. And won't your parents get angry?"
Leera replied, "Girl, I always wanted to work at a coffee shop with my best friend."
Then she continued softly, "And my parents will allow it because my happiness matters to them."
After saying that, Leera suddenly became quiet for a second.
"Sorry... I shouldn't have said that knowing everything about your family."
Nayza immediately replied, "Idiot, that's actually a really good thing. I'm happy hearing that."
Then she smiled. "Okay then, now there's no problem. We'll both work together."
By evening, Navza got ready and texted Leera.
I'm leaving now.
Leera replied instantly,
Okay, me too.
After some time, both of them met outside the restaurant.
The moment they looked at the building properly, both of them became excited.
"Wooww... this place is so beautiful."
Then both of them quickly went inside.
Leera said, "I'll ask them if they can hire me too."
Nayza nodded. "Okay, I'll wait."
As soon as they entered, Leera walked toward the counter while Nayza stood beside her.
Leera politely asked the girl standing there, "I wanted a job here. Who should I talk to?"
The girl replied, "Actually, it's good that you came today. One of our workers left today itself, so we urgently needed someone."
Then she handed her a form. "Please fill this form. After that, you'll get the job."
Leera happily said okay and looked toward Nayza with excitement.
Nayza gave her a bright smile back.
After filling out the form, both of them sat together in the hall waiting quietly.
A little while later, the counter girl called Leera again.
"Your selection is confirmed. You'll have to serve coffee here. Your shift will be from 8 PM to 1 AM."
Leera instantly became really happy. "Thank you so much."
Then she quickly walked back toward Nayza.
The moment Nayza saw her face, she already understood that she got the job.
"So tell me, what work do you have to do??"
Leera smiled lovingly. "So now, I'll have to drink coffee made by my madam herself."
Both of them became really happy and laughed together.
Then Nayza excitedly said, "There's still time before 8 PM. Come on, let's explore this restaurant first."
And after that, both of them spent time happily exploring the entire hotel and restaurant together.
After that, both of them finally started working as soon as the clock hit 8 PM.
A little while later, Doruk and Yesir also came there to meet them and congratulate Nayza for getting the job. Both of them already knew that Leera was only doing this for fun and to stay with Nayza.
Nayza made the coffee while Leera served it to them.
The four of them spent time talking and laughing together while Doruk and Yesir waited for their shift to end so they could all go home together.
By the time their shift finally ended, it was already 1 AM.
The four of them went to the restaurant's dining section to have dinner together.
While sitting at the table, Leera suddenly said,
"Ahh wait, I just remembered something."
The other three looked at her confused.
Leera quickly opened her bag and took out four photo frames.
"These are the group photos we took at the graduation party yesterday."
Everyone took one frame each.
The picture looked beautiful.
All four of them were together in the photo, smiling brightly.
Nayza kept staring at the frame quietly for a few moments, looking genuinely happy while holding it carefully in her hands.
After dinner, all of them finally went back home.
The next morning, Nayza placed the photo frame beside her bed on the small table in her room.
And after that, both Leera and Nayza slowly started getting used to their daily work routine together.
